Closed Distracting his mind Solo

Damien entered the library with his Greek mythology book as he was looking for a place to quietly sit down and read his book while he wrapped his head around the news he just got. There was another kid here at Hogwarts a third year who shared the same last name as him, which mean they were possibly cousins. He didn’t know how to take the news on one hand he was extremely thrilled because now during the summer time he wouldn’t be lonely in the house while his parents were away if they allowed him to visit Damien of course but then their was the fact that Damien never knew he had any relatives near his ages or even kids in their family but him so if this guy was really related to him then how come Damien has never heard or met him before ? It just didn’t make sense to Damien as to why his parents never told him about this guy, didn’t he deserve to have someone to talk to growing up ? He didn’t have any answers to these questions but figured for now he needed to ignore them before it tore him apart. So he sat down in a little nook by the window before opening his book to his favorite myth in Greek mythology the story of Apollo and Hyacinthus, the story was a tragic love story as it told about Apollo falling in love with a mortal man named Hyacinthus whose beauty rivals Aphrodites or so it says and how either by a misdirect throw of Apollo or as Damien liked to believe a strong gust of wind from the wind god Zephyr sends the discus flying and hitting Hyacinthus killing him. While it was sad it was also sweet and it’s why Damien liked it so much because after Hyacinthus death Apollo in his grief Hyacinthus blood into a flower named the Hyacinth in remembrance of Hyacinthus, that’s why Damien enjoy the story so much.
