Hi everyone! I'm a first-year student, and I'm trying to figure out which spells I can cast at my level. Is there a list somewhere on the site, or should I add them to my encyclopedia page as I learn them? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

In order to get spells, you need to complete lessons. Achieving above a "T" in certain lessons can allow you to add spells and potions to your trunk. You must go to the "Index Update" page (or something like that) in order to update your trunk. (This only works if you are registered in the official index.

I see you are new to the site. First thing you will do is creating encyclopedia page. After that you will apply to register with Index. After 10-11 days on site and reaching 20 posts homework system will open and under your profile picture in dropdown menu your will see report card. There you can access lessons. Every lesson has homework questions at the end of it. Upon getting any grade above T in submitted lesson, you can apply for a spell/potion that lesson provides. You will then go to Encyclopedia Update Form and apply for adding this spell/potion with screenshot of your record card as proof of achievement. You can also apply for spells/potions upon graduating to the next year.
