The loud chatter and commotion of students and families echoed around Aleksandra. The young girl felt like she was trapped in a small room crowded with no way out as if the walls were caving in on the young girl by each and every second as if the open space the platinum haired girl were in was slowly shrinking around her inch by excruciating inch. Her left eyebrow twitched in annoyance even though the platform was rather large it seemed as if it was rather cramped due to the noise levels and obnoxious children that seemed to be hovering around and standing in the middle of the walkways leaving barely little room for others to inch closer to the scarlet red engine nearby the young girl.

An airy sigh of frustration escaped the young girl's thin fair toned lips, her ice cold gray eyes stared ahead of her devoid of emotions like a storm cloud rolling over the edge of the countryside. In reality Aleksandra was dreading going back to Hogwarts. It was not because she had no friends she could care less if she had friends nor did she care that she really did not have any. Though she was surrounded by people that seemed to always find her though a few people she did not mind the young girl preferred being the ice cold lone wolf she was. After all she was no princess so a lone wolf was a better title for her.

Dragging her trunk behind her the young girl followed behind her Father and Aunt Victoria quietly as they chattered happily amongst each other. Aleksandra never understood how they could be so happy all the time; her father was always carefree and outgoing while her Aunt was a social butterfly. While Aleksandra well she has her reasons for being closed off. How could she be so different? While her family seemed to be all bubbly and optimistic most of the time.

Aleksandra did not think much about it as she inched closer to the vibrant Scarlet train that awaited in front of her. Glancing towards her family, Aleksandra waved a farewell as she climbed aboard the express. Dragging her trunk behind her of course Aleksandra was still short for a second year; she only grew about two inches after summer camp passed by, leaving the girl at a whopping four feet and five inches tall. Even though she was short she still tried to keep her head held high and her eyes cold gray eyes straight ahead as she continued on her little trek down the train carts narrow halls.

Aleksandra glanced around the halls of train carts glancing around hearing the commotion and vibrant chatter of students young and old echoing around her. The young girl sighed as she inched closer and closer to the far back of the cart of the scarlet express. Aleksandra normally hid in the back with less of a chance of finding someone to harass her or to interact with. The young girl thought quietly as she made her trek, her thoughts wandered to a certain brunette haired boy wondering if she would run into him which was a possibility or a certain young first year that her father wanted her to look out for that or even a certain ravenette haired girl that Aleksandra looked up to. The young girl had no idea what she was thinking but she knew one thing: she just needed to forget it all. Sighing, the young girl glanced around before stopping.

Opening the door to an empty compartment Aleksandra examined the inside as she walked in to place her trunk underneath the seat as she closed the door behind her. After all it was best she did not attract unwanted guests. The young girl scowled slightly at the thought of a certain brunette scurrying around looking for her. Though she also seemed to not mind said brunette's company he was annoying and stubborn but definitely made Aleksandra think on her feet.

Aleksandra sighed once again in irritation, scowling; she had no time to think about distractions. Honestly, the girl just wished she could live life in the background. Was that too much to ask? To be a side character not important to her own story just a background character? But even then the young girl could not help but wonder what her second year would be like?

Aleksandra had to admit she felt more vulnerable when it came to her feelings but the young girl was not prepared to open up not yet not to anyone even those that she thinks that she could trust. After all those you trust the most end up stabbing you in the back at the end of the day. Being vulnerable is never an easy task and it was not something Aleksandra wanted to do to show her vulnerability. The young girl rather stayed alone and enjoy the silence in the compartment besides the echoes from the neighboring carts that seemed to linger in slightly drifting through the thin walls.

Aleksandra looked down in her thoughts, mixed emotions playing and dancing around her cold steely gray eyes. As the young girl glanced outside of the window she could see that the city seemed to have left leaving a more rural view with fields. Was it truly something she could prevent? If she gave into her feelings would she end up falling into the pits of sorrow? Or would she truly find peace in life. Not even Aleksandra knew all she knew was her second year was going to be interesting. The young girl could feel it in her bones in her heart even.

Aleksandra kept a straight face as she watched the scenery dance by the clear windows showing the outside world whirling by fairly quickly as the scarlet expressed began its trek towards Hogwarts. Leaning against the window slightly, Aleksandra could see part of her reflection the girl's shining pale blonde hair illuminating in the sun's rays. All seemed to be going by silently and rather peacefully for Aleksandra, but of course the young girl knew better to hope for the peace to stay and linger around. The young girl knew a few second years who were nothing but peaceful chaotic maybe but even that word was too kind for them. Let alone the young girl had no idea how the first years would react. After all they may just be as bad as the second years which made the young girl sigh in frustration her silver eyes narrowed like daggers.

While Aleksandra was lost in thought the young girl listened to the trains engine roaring through the compartments as the scenery continued to move by quicker and quicker. Leaving the young girl lost in thought. She wondered how her second year would go. Would it be chaotic or peaceful? In reality Aleksandra’s first year was smooth until the end. Now she was just uncertain how this year would go, but the young girl was prepared for one thing: to try and stay as hidden as possible. After all she really did enjoy being a background character in her own story and this story is just beginning.
