As usual, Anichka was up early. She didn't know why but while all of her fellow students always tried to sleep in as late as possible, Anichka always felt this compulsion to get up early and get on with her day. By her standards, she'd actually slept in today. It was 745 when she awoke and she immediately started to get ready for her morning run. She put on a maroon jumper, black shorts that went down to just above her knees, black trainers, and a headband that her friend had transfigured from normal black to a design celebrating Durmstrang. It was one of her most prized possessions. She took a drink from the glass of water she'd left on the table next to her bed before getting up and quietly leaving her tent so as to not disturb her late rising roomies.

Anichka took about five minutes outside to stretch and warm up. She certainly didn't want to sprain something while she was out there. She had her first broom race coming up and didn't want to mess herself up and not be able to compete. She was so excited about it. She'd flown around the school grounds and even had mock 'races' with some of her friends but this was different. This was organized, this was competitive. As she set out on her run images of her leading her team to glory flashed through her head. She saw herself effortlessly dodging in and out of trees. She blinked and now she zooming full speed through a waterfall. Blink again and she was now narrowly avoid a Bundimun and pressed on. Another blink - CRASH - she had not been paying close enough attention to where she was going and had run into something, knocking it and herself to the ground. "Luulen, että minulla on piiska," I think I got whiplash. She opened her eyes to look at what she had run into.

It turned out not to be a what so much as a who. There was an older, white haired boy on the ground in front of him, he was wearing a leather jacket. "Oletko kunnossa?" Are you okay? She asked, forgetting that she was meant to be speaking English here.

It was too early in the morning for anyone to be awake (apparently Anichka hadn't gotten the memo) which meant it was the perfect time for Felix Kolbeck to master a new, extremely embarrassing skill. He sat cross legged on a bench, still dressed in his black pajama set. He had thrown one of his maybe leather jackets on to escape the nip in the air.

In his lap lay a blonde haired baby doll that had extremely long hair. Felix had owled his sisters about their old toy and had promised them to do some pretty embarrassing shit if they sent the thing to him. An opened book sat next to him, displaying several different diagrams with instructions on how to braid in various styles. Shaky hands tried to cross the doll's hair over, but the damn thing kept moving on Felix and it was with an annoyed grunt that he tossed the cursed thing onto the ground.

This was so fucking stupid. He was never going to be able to braid Greta's hair, and her murdery tresses kept trying to fucking strangle him in his sleep. At least if they were braided together he might survive to see his next birthday.

He stood with a yawn, stretching his long limbs. He closed his eyes and started to massage his temple, trying to will away his headache when he suddenly felt someone crash right into him.

"... Ouch?" He blinked down at the roadrunner. She was tiny, even for normal standard, and he didn't recognize her from any classes, so he was willing to bet the twerp was younger than him. She was gibbering away, and it took a second for him to realize she was speaking a different language, "What?" He balked at her, the sleep deprived gears in his head finally moving. Finnish, she was speaking Finnish. SHIT. Why did she have to speak the language he was utter horse shit at? "Are you okay?"

"You." He pointed towards the tiny girl, "Run into me." He pointed towards himself, "I are okay. You... are okay?" He tried to ask before rolling his eyes. Dammit he hated sounded stupid, he couldn't do this anymore.

"Any other language? English? Swedish? Russian?" He tried to ask with furrowed brows, dang Finnish. Although... She had arrived at the perfect time... His old mannequin just wasn't cutting it and the runner had a very important ability; she could hold her own head up.

"This." He gestured towards her hair before turning and grabbing his book, pointing his finger towards one of the diagrams. "I do?"

Anichka's cheeks flashed red with embarrassment. She was starting to make a habit of running into people while she was running. Once or twice she could say it was their fault, but the common denominator was definitely her. The boy seemed to be switching languages a lot and she was trying to keep up. First, there was English, then what she was pretty sure was Swedish but she certainly didn't know, but then he switched to Finnish. His Finnish wasn't great, but he could understand what he was saying. "I'm fine, just a little embarrassed," she blushed as she responded.

As she pulled herself to her feet she heard him switch back to English. Now that she got a proper look at him, she recognized him as a fellow Durmstrang student, although he was quite a bit older than her. She heard him ask if she spoke Russian and could only assume that he didn't recognize her because if he had he would've known she spoke Russian. Then again, she spent most of her time jogging or in class, she wasn't really social at all, so he could be forgiven for not knowing she existed.

What happened next made her extremely confused. First, she noticed he had been holding a doll when she ran into him. Now he was pointing back and forth from her hair to a diagram in a book. She slowly began to (or at least thought she did) understand what he was asking of her but couldn't quite believe it. "Are you... are you asking if you can braid my hair?" she asked.
