Ayumi | Emiko | Yutai | Eugenia | Thoughts
Ayumi's eyes twinkle with some muffled excitement as she follows her parents around the house, helping the best she could, whenever she could. The Karageorgiadi family are going to visit them soon enough, and her parents are just doing the final touch-ups to make the already spotless house look even shinier.
They have been at work almost all day, clearing up the pretty much non-existant clutter in the house, rearranging and straightening up the books on the living room bookshelves. They also helped Ayumi a little in cleaning her own little room next to theirs, just in case they need to take the Karageorgiadis on a tour of their house. The backyard garden has been taken care of, a few of the more pretty plants carefully replanted into a temporary flower pot to decorate the house, while the front lawn was mown neatly so that they are of similar heights.
By the time they are done, there is not a speck of dust in the house. A little sweaty now, the family have decided to take a shower one by one, just to clean themselves up too.
It was a lot of work, but tiny as she is, Ayumi did not do much more than stare at her parents while they worked. Even so, when her parents first told Ayumi their plans for today, she was a little baffled, wondering why someone would waste their time and energy on cleaning the house when it is nowhere near a holiday.
Of course, she did not tell her parents about her thoughts, and instead chose to stop herself from going any further with her mental complaints.
Her parents' simple explanation soon followed, though.
They are apparently friends with the Karageorgiadis, although the girl highly doubt that the friendship has to do with anything more than gaining more reputation and power in the Ministry.
For Ayumi's parents, at least.
Though, what the girl truly cares about at the moment is not the goals of her parents. Instead, her mind keeps circling back to how her parents told her that the Karageorgiadis have a daughter around Ayumi's age. No matter how much the girl craves for her parents' attention, she is still a child of five years old. So, the blond-haired girl's mind is still pretty much full of more 'childish' desires, according to her parents, anyway.
There is just one problem.
The girl's name is... what is it again? Engenia? Augena? Augusta? No, that is getting further from whatever vague remembrance Ayumi has of the anonymous girl's name.
She could ask her parents, yes, but Ayumi's parents have specifically reminded her that memorizing their host's names is the basic courtesy, and so the girl does not want to ruin their impressions of her and their mood by asking them.
But just what is her name?
Ayumi furrows her eyebrows as she tries to search her mind for the name once more, but no success, not even when the gate swings open and a family enter the compounds of the Faeri House. Ayumi assumes that they are the Karageorgiadis. The family pushes open the front door after ringing the doorbell, but Ayumi can only focus on the dark-haired girl that follows close behind her parents.
Although she has no idea what the name of the said girl is, Ayumi waves, a small smile on her face.
ooc note: if this word count is not enough, please tell me and I will write more next time! Also note that when singular, Faeri is just Faeri, but to make it look better, plural is Faeries!

It is the afternoon. The house in London is scorching hot. It was summer, after all.
A little girl is sitting on her bed. Her age was just 6 years old. Her name, Eugenia. Her mind and maturity though was far beyond her years. She stood in front of the wardrobe. There, a beautiful purple dress hung from the door. That was the dress Eugenia would be wearing. The girl stood quite still, examining it, trying to register each and every detail. She loved the dress. Happily, she walked to her rooms door and locked eyes with her mother.
Her mother had just finished changing her younger daughter’s bows. The little girl didn’t like them at first. Then though, she complied. Eugenia watched as her mother lifted her sister and left her down on the floor. She then walked over to her.
Eugenia sat at the chair of her desk. Do you like the dress? Eugenia loved it when she heard her mother speak Greek. Moving here two years before… It had not been an easy change for her. Since she was really young, her parents decided to teach her English, seeing how the Greek economy was going downhill and trying to find a way to move here. Still, speaking Greek was a sort of comfort for her, knowing that she wouldn’t forget her home.
Yes! I love it! Specifically the little flower here! Eugenia pointed to a large white flower at the middle of the dress. It looks really nice mum! Despite living for many years in England, her Greek was flawless…
Her sister stood next to her. I really like it too. Mine is pretty too. Little Ifigenia was just two years old, but she could already speak both languages quite well for her age. Their mom chuckled and sent the girl to sit on the other chair. Then, she helped Eugenia change into her dress. In a jiffy, she was ready.
Eugenia sat on her bed. As if they communicated telepathically, Ifigenia got up from the chair and stood next to a small doll. Eugenia, delighted, filled up her seat while her mother kissed them both. So, how do you want your hair to be? Eugenia thought for a minute and pointed to a small flower bow she loved, matching her dress. Well, let’s admit it, she had her own sense of style.
Her mother smiled and made her daughter’s hair exactly the way she wanted it to be. Then she left the two girls for a moment, so that she could wear her dress. Eugenia sat down beside her sister, on her bed and spoke. She really knew everything concerning their moving of house, so she could explain to her sister. She doubted Ifigenia would understand a lot, but she still tried.
The Faeris helped mum and dad a lot when we moved and the are kind-of friends, I guess. They bonded a lot when searching for house, and found this one, and when they toured the ministry of magic together. At least, that is what daddy told me. Now they invited us over because they are friends. I am so excited! Are you? Ifigenia looked at her and nodded. The two girls hugged until their mum was back.
She was wearing a flowy green dress, which contrasted a lot with Ifigenia’s, as hers was red. She lifted her youngest daughter again and walked down the stairs. Eugenia followed behind her, being careful not to trip and fall over.
Her father was in the living room. He smiled as they came down and hugged his two daughters. Eugenia, meanwhile, was surprised by how fast her mother had left Ifigenia down. At the same time, she was hopeful that the little girl she would meet, she remembered her name was “Ayumi”… Well, would she be nice? Eugenia thought that yes.
She gripped on tightly to her father’s hand. Alright, it is time we go now. They had told her that they would be appirating to that house. Oh how she hated that! She had experienced it once or twice again. She waited long enough for it to be over and smiled. She wanted to make a good impression.
They walked over to the entrance of the house and knocked. The door opened and Eugenia felt her sister’s hand gripping on hers. Her eyes were not on the hosts but on the little girl, sitting closely behind…

Ayumi | Emiko | Yutai | Eugenia | Thoughts
Ayumi can feel the girl's eyes on her, which is not that surprising considering she was waving. Another girl who looks younger trails just behind the older one, the two holding onto each others' hands. The second girl seems like she is only two years old. Although a three-year age gaps is not that much, to five-year-old Ayumi then, it is a lot - she herself is a little more than double that age, after all.
That's not the point, though. Ayumi is just surprised that there is a second child at all. The girl suppresses the urge to smack herself on the forehead. Her parents, the meticulous people that they are, must have told her that the Karageorgiadis have two children.
How could she forget the existance of one of them?
Never mind, at least she will not make this mistake when conversing with the other family. Ayumi's mother greets their guests, "Good afternoon, [Eugenia's father' name here] and [Eugenia's mother's name here]. We are pleased to have dinner with you."
Ayumi can feel her mother nudging her, and she sighs internally. She hates such formal greetings but she will take it if it means her parents will be happy with her. She inclines her head a slight bit for respect and greets the Karageorgiadis as well, "Good afternoon. I am Ayumi, and you have probably met my parents."
Her mother gives her a subtle nod, and the girl relaxes a bit. Ayumi hopes that the other girl who is supposedly around her age would not be as uptight as she is acting right now, or she will not be very pleased when Ayumi asks for her name.
While they are waiting for the Karageorgiadis to reply, Ayumi turns unperceptibly to her mother, her hands subconsciously finding their way to the rims of her dress, which is made out of silk and beautifully colored in gradient red to yellow. She murmurs, her words directed towards her parents (mostly her mother, though, since her father is standing a little further away), "Can I go and talk to their children before dinner? I can take them to my room, which has already been thoroughly cleaned. I will definitely behave when I am around them!"
Ayumi's mother turns a bit to look at her father, a sign for him to voice his opinion, so Yutai replies, just as softly, "I don't see why not. Ayumi, just be careful about what you do around them, okay? We did not expect them to bring the younger child too, but her name is Ifigenia Karageorgiadi. Please don't forget her name."
Ayumi's mother thinks for a moment before giving her approval, too, "Alright. Just remember to bring them back down to the dining room before dinner, okay?"
More excited now, the blond-haired girl gives her parents a gentle nod, her heart pumping faster with eagerness.
ooc note: I also give you permission to slightly godmod Ayumi to say some simple things that make sense and/or carry out simple actions! however, if I think a part does not make sense, I might need you to change it. also, just a side note, I don't think children are allowed to apparate. alsooo, this is not edited very much, so there might be some spelling/grammar errors, I apologize for that

The door of the house creaked open and behind stood a little girl, who looked hardly around her age, and two adults. They must be her parents. Ifigenia, please smile. We will stick together, mummy told me we should do that yesterday. She kissed her sister discreetly.
They walked inside the house and the two girls stood at the corner, wondering when they can meet little Ayumi. It seemed that she was nervous too, she mumbled something her parents. The two adults greeted her parents very formally. God, are supposed to be that formal too? Her sister was confused a bit too. I don’t know Eugenia. What are we supposed to do? A voice interrupted both of their thoughts. Their parents replied. We are also very happy to be arriving at your house this evening too. Our daughters are also very pleased to meet you. The girls’ mum looked at them and made a small head movement the sisters recognised as: “Come here, it is your turn to speak now”. So they did.
Still holding each other’s hand, they walked over to the adults. Eugenia smiled. She knew she had to respond in a formal way, since this whole thing was formal, but she did not mind. It was fine by her. Good afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Faeri. I’m glad to have come here today. She swallowed hard. Was what she said enough, good, or too much? Her parents smiled, so good thing. Now, it was her sister’s turn to speak. Good afternoon, I’m also pleased to meet you. It was evident she didn’t really know what to say. She was two years old, rather than Eugenia’s 6 years of age.
The adults shared a few more words when they headed over to some other room. Ifigenia walked up to her mum and asked. Can I go with the girls? I promise I will be good. Their mom smiled. Of course my dear. There is no reason for you to stay behind. Thanking her, Ifigenia waddled off and joined Eugenia. She herself grabbed her hand and they watched their parents leave with Ayumi’s. Finally being alone, Eugenia smiled at the blonde girl. She wanted to know her. And to that, she had to show her kindest face.
The two sisters stood frozen for a moment. Then, Eugenia suddenly locked eyes with Ayumi. The blonde girl looked intriguing and both of them craved for some fun. Well, at least Eugenia did.Hi there! You, uh, must be Ayumi? I’m Eugenia, this is my little sister, Ifigenia. She is a bit young, but I promise she will behave. We are both happy to meet you!
Eugenia smiled, although she felt awkward. She had a feeling that she would have lots of fun. And she was almost sure that she wasn’t wrong.
