ODIE'S MOUTH HUNG AGAP as she walked through the entrance way of the London Quidditch Staduim. She always dreamed of being here to see at least one professional game. She wandered around as she imagine herself blasting across the sky like a star on her broom as the crowd jeered and clapped. She smiled as she walked in a dreamlike state as she thought of this. She was brought to back to present as her feet sunk into the snow, she smiled as she waded through the thick snow. Odie was always very conservative, so she was already well-dressed for the cold weather. As she began to walk over to sign-ups she started to ponder what tent she woukd choose. Her eyes glazing over all the different tents. Thats when she noticed a train without tracks, it was a steam train locomotive styled as if it were ripped from history, a fresh make of those in the 1800s. The tall black frame of the conductor's cars has the only entrance. Behind this appears to be another car filled with coal. The side of the container holding coal is marked "Polar Express" in deep gold: the same deep gold is the colour of all accents on the train, from the door handle to the frames of the darkened windows. Upon sighting the tent... Or yrain if you will, Odie knew exactly which exact one she had planned to pick. As she got to the sign-ups, without hesitation she wrote Polar Express. After registering, she was handed a map of the stadium and the iterinary plan. Upon stepping inside, Odie was greeted by an area filled with silky red seats. An enchanted kettle floats around filling any student's empty mug with hot chocolate. Tables made of mahogany are between each pair of seats. Four tables in total fill the tent, with enough room to sit four students at a table. Odie smiled as she set down her luggage taking a seat, taking an empty mug as she awaited for her mug to be filled. The hot chocolate was perfect, it was creamy and not too hot. This summer... or summer winter? was going to be the best yet!KEY

Elias waved goodbye to his family and trekked the few blocks needed to go to the Quidditch Stadium, suitcase under one arm and backpack on his back. Aunt Paige said it would be a good idea, Lance said he might meet his friends, and Brendon and Parker were really happy for him to go, but he still questioned if he made the wrong decision. His family wouldn't be flying back for another couple days, maybe-
His thoughts cut short when he heard the crunch of snow beneath his foot.
He stared down, then up, then all around the whole snowy stadium, icy and cold in the middle of a muggy London summer. Woah. Having grown up in the mountains, Elias certainly knew his way around snow, and he certainly knew he wasn't dressed or packed for it with his shorts and t-shirts and exactly one hoodie.
Nevertheless, he kept forward, hoping his tennis shoes would dry quickly after he got out of the snow, it was a good thing Parker had him pack rubber boots in case of rain (and now a different sort of precipitation).
It didn't take long to notice the sign up table, labelled as it was, and Elias quickly tromped over. There were a lot of cool themes for the magic tents, all very pretty and nice to look at. Elias was again struck by indecision, until he saw the Polar Express theme. Endless hot cocoa? That was even better than a gingerbread house! And boy did it look fancy. And, well, it's a train! Elias, feeling rather hungry and aching for a cup of cocoa as he began to feel the chill in his socks, signed up for Polar Express, underneath another name he didn't bother to read.
He found the tent easily enough, it was a locomotive off rails after all, and stepped inside, knocking the snow off his shoes at the enterance and taking them off. The interior of the tent was pleasantly warm, and quite fancy, fancier than he expected, like a luxury train ride from an Old West movie. The kind the crooked businessman takes into town, or that the proper young governor's daughter leaves on.
With a bit of a start, as he tossed his suitcase and backpack on a soft red booth seat, he noticed there was another person in the tent. She had long brown hair and big hazel eyes and a happy face. Elias ducked as a golden kettle zoomed by and filled up her mug. The cocoa smelled delectable, even from here, creamy and rich and oh-so-chocolatey. Elias quivered in anticipation for his own sip.
After the kettle left, the young Thunderbird scooted over into her line of sight and gave a Hello in BSL. He smiled kindly, as he usually did, sitting across from her. I guess we're tentmates, huh? I'm Elias. What's your name? He hadn't realized his error of not writing it down yet, having spent the past ten days in fluent company, but likely would in the seconds to come. The kettle zoomed by again, pouring the rich chocolate drink into his mug, a succulent scent wafting up to his nose on the warm steam.

ODIE'S ATTENTION was redirected from her steaming deliciousness of hot chocolate to a boy waving at her. He was obvioualy not dressed properly for the occasion, she just hoped that he had brought other clothes besides t-shirts and shorts. Or else he would probably catch quite the cold this summer. Odie gave a small awkward smile as she waved back to the boy, his most noticable features was his ocean blue eyes, and his hands thin and nimble. He had a notebook in hand and a pencil behind his ear, a fellow artist perhaps? The boy's smile was kind and bright. Odie couldn't help but think that it reminded her much like a rabbit in some odd sort of way.KEY

The brunette boy sat across from her at the table, the whole air around him seemed to be so.... Unexplainably peaceful. Odie was suprised and confused, as she couldnt believe what she was seeing when the boy raised his hands and began to sign. Odie had been raised by Deaf Parents so she was well immersed into the world and culture of Deaf people. She scarcely knew much of the world of the hearing besides the communication, it wasnt very common to see another sign user. Signers can be mute, Deaf, hearing, and etc so that is why she didnt immediately assume he was Deaf. Her first language was actually ISL [Irish Sign Language], but she learned to speak Orally English and BSL [British Sign Language] for more convience and better communication.
《I guess we're tentmates, huh? I'm Elias. What's your name?》 The boy signed as his mug was filled by magical hot chocolate.
Odie smiled happily, she always preferred signing over speaking anyway it was just hard to find people to converse with besides her parents.
《Yes it appears so. Its nice to meet you Elias, my name is Odie》 She took a quick break, taking a sip of her hot chocolate before continuing to sign. 《This hot chocolate is perfect, it almost seems magical itself! Also, if you don't mind me asking why the Polar Express?》
