You may be hard-pressed to find your way back to this tent if you've snuck out in the middle of the night, as the fabric of the tent has been charmed to blend in exceptionally well with the night sky, its cool, inky black surface covered with constellations, distant planets, and the occasional meteor shower and shooting stars. The area around the tent is set up for those astronomy-inclined campers who may be residing inside, with telescopes, star charts, and observation chairs set up around the tent's plot. Behind the observation area is a small broom rack, with enough space to hold one broom for each of the tent's occupants. The sign indicating this tent bears the constellation Cygnus, the swan.
Inside the tent, your attention will first be drawn to the rather peculiar ceiling: a perfect replica of the night sky twinkles above, displaying the winter sky on even days, the summer sky on odd days, and a beautiful facsimile of the northern lights every weekend. In the very back of the tent is - surprise! - another, smaller tent! Inside rests a small reading nook, with shelves dominated by dozens of books on astronomy, from the more standard non-fiction you'd use when revising for astronomy class, to the astrological mythology of various cultures, and even some fiction offerings. One book, black as night with embossed golden lettering, bears only an illustration on the cover depicting the constellation after which your specific tent is named and makes a curious rattling sound when you shake it.

Eight sleeping bags in shades of blue and red are scattered around the tent, as well as eight chairs to sit back, relax, and enjoy the stars. Fireflies, or at least the impressive mimicry of them, dance around the room, and you swear you can see a flash of gold every so often out of the corner of your eye. A small bonfire rests in the center of the room, filling the tent with gentle warmth and the ambient sounds of crackling logs.

A shiny black car pulled up outside the London Quidditch Stadium and the LaChance family stepped out, well, everyone except Chlo, who was wriggling in her car seat to get out, too. "LEELEE! LEELEE, Come! Help!" She yelled. EmmaLee pouted and crawled back into the car to give her sister a hug, and a kiss on the cheek and forehead.

"You can't come. I'm going to camp," EmmaLee said, tapping her little sister's tiny, pink nose. "I'll be back though, in a month."

"Camp." Chlo repeated seriously but clearly didn't understand as EmmaLee backed up out of the car once more and Chlo yelled in protest, wiggling and reaching out with grabby hands for her older sister. EmmaLee bent down and grabbed Minx's cat carrier from the floor of the car, and Chlo yelled again. "No! Meen! My Meen!"

Their mother, Celeste, was on the sidewalk and chuckled at her daughters as her husband Victor retrieved his eldest daughter's starry trunk from the back of the car.

"You really need this heavy thing?" He asked, with his own chuckle, placing it on the ground next to EmmaLee and standing upright to stroke his short, ginger beard. EmmaLee shrugged.

"I mean, it's not full." She said, looking up at her stepfather with a mischievous smirk. "Is it too 'eavy for you?" Victor rolled his eyes and laughed.

"Of course not." He said, ruffling his daughter's snowy hair and causing her to bat playfully at his hand. "I'm just making sure you can carry it. Also, that no one is going to stuff you into it for all of your shortness." EmmaLee pretended to be offended and stuck her tongue out at him before her mother intervened.

"Alright, children," she said with a laugh, Chlo's yells of protest at wanting to get out of the car still ringing out from the open car door. "EmmaLee needs to go before Chlo gets too upset." Both Victor and EmmaLee pouted before Victor bent down and hugged her around the waist, lifting the much shorter girl up off her feet and squeezing her before putting her back down, patting the top of her head, and moving back to the driver's seat of the car. Chlo's yells abated as he clearly distracted her and Celeste closed the open door before giving EmmaLee a tight hug as well.

"See you in a month, mon etoile. I 'ope you 'ave a good time," she said, patting both of EmmaLee's cheeks with her hands and giving each a kiss. EmmaLee turned as her mother entered the car and Victor rolled the window down.

"Bye!" She said with an arm-long wave. Her parents said goodbye as well and drove off before cutting Chlo's renewed protests off with the closing of the car window. EmmaLee sighed. It was always hard to leave Chlo when she carried on like that and she wondered how it didn't break her parents' hearts.

EmmaLee was brought back to her spot in front of the stadium when Minx mewed her own protest at still being confined to the cat carrier. "Alright, alright," EmmaLee said, picking up the carrier, and the handle of the trunk and wheeling it behind her as she headed inside.

Never to be outdone in anything, EmmaLee marveled at the winter wonderland the Hogwarts event team had created. As she registered and picked out a tent, all of them wonderfully creative but how could she pick any one beside the Stargazer tent, she was astounded by the contrast between the warm summer day and the cold snow on the ground. A vague memory of a television show she had watched with Grace came to her mind as creating something similar. Had they called it wimmer? Swinter? Sumter? Something. Anyway, this reminded her of that. EmmaLee was thankful that she had actually picked a decently warm outfit today: a long-sleeved blue shirt, though the shirt was a little thin, black jeans, and hiking boots.

Now firmly inside the stadium, EmmaLee freed her cat from its confines and whipped out her wand to levitate her moderately heavy trunk behind her as she searched for the Cygnus constellation that marked the tent she had signed up for. She was hoping that Stephen and Kaya at the very least would sign up for her tent as well when they saw her name on the sign-up sheet.

Minx leaped out of the carrier and then promptly jumped onto EmmaLee's shoulders in surprise at the sudden snow. EmmaLee laughed a little as Minx stared at the snow with deep offense. "It's only snow." She said, putting the cat down and levitating her trunk again. The unexpected flurry of fur had broken her concentration and her trunk had fallen to the ground with a soft splat into the snow. "Let's go." She said, as Minx stuck her nose into the snow curiously and sniffed around in it, seemingly to confirm it was real snow. As EmmaLee walked off in search of her tent, Minx bounded after her, having a bit more fun as the walk went on and the snow was not as suspicious as first thought.

Finally finding the tent, EmmaLee entered and was once again awestruck, first spotting the summer night sky reflected across the ceiling and then looking around at the rest of the tent: the small fire in the middle, the tiny tent in the back that she could explore, the comfortable-looking chairs and sleeping bags scattered about the floor.

First things first before exploration though, EmmaLee picked a sleeping bag that was already in the back corner of the room and dragged it fully up against the crook of the two walls. Even after all this time, she was still inclined to mark her private space, and this time, she was a little more equipped to do so. She pulled a midnight blue cloth with stars on it out of her trunk and used the glue charm to stick it to the inside of the tent, creating a small curtain around her sleeping bag and trunk. As much as she loved interacting with people, especially those she called friends, it was very important to her to be able to be alone sometimes and this would be the perfect little space all her own. As if marking her approval, Minx trotted into the space, kneaded the blanket of the sleeping bag, and twirled herself into a fluffy, white circle before purring loudly with her head under her tail.

Now that that was done, and no one else had come in while she did her work, EmmaLee pulled a paper and a pen out of her trunk and meandered over to a chair. She plopped down in it and, taking a note from Miles Thatcher's book the last time she had been in a tent, she jotted down a short getting-to-know-you questionnaire and copied it seven times.

Once that was done, she wandered around the tent, taking in every aspect until she found herself in the reading tent. The rattling book was definitely a mystery to solve, but not right now. For now, she selected an interesting fiction book, pulled a chair up to the fire, and settled down to read while she waited for others to arrive.

It was summer, and Zophyr was back in Scotland. His fourth time ever, and his second time at a summer camp. If it was anything like last year's, he was more than excited. At the last ball, he hadn't been able to see his international friends, but hopefully now he'd have the time to search for them. He couldn't wait.

Except... after having said goodbye to his family in Burundi, where they were staying at the moment, and coming all the way to the UK with his school, he was shocked to find that there was snow all over the summer camp. Its placement also happened to be on a Quidditch pitch, which Zophyr would have been ecstatic about if he hadn't been so confused about the cold and snow and... was the UK actually south? Did their seasons switch, like in Australia? No, that didn't make sense, it hadn't been like that last year... Okay, so obviously it was magic. But why? "Qu'est-ce que..." "What the..."

He shook his head, trying to regain his focus. Okay, so there was snow. It was a winter camp, apparently. Why he hadn't been warned, he wasn't sure - maybe he had and he wasn't paying attention (which was rare, but he'd probably been distracted by more interesting things), or maybe this was a mistake. But he doubted that.

What to do now? Find himself a tent. The opening feast would be soon, Zophyr needed to put his stuff down. He had signed up for a specific type of tent, a starry type one, and he found it pretty easily as it seemed to be made out of night sky, contrasting quite a bit against the white snow. It was just as beautiful inside as it was out, and Zophyr almost wanted to go to bed right then and there, admiring the stars. And there were telescopes and books, too! He'd have to check them out soon.

But first, he put down his things near a chair and a reddish sleeping bag, and spotted a piece of paper on the wall of the tent housing said books. A form! One was already filled in, by a girl called EmmaLee, a name Zophyr had never heard of before, who seemed to like Astronomy as much as he did. Picking up one of the forms and a quill, Zophyr copied her example and filled in the page.
Name: Zophyr Qethnis
Preferred Name/Nickname: Zophyr or Zoph if you know me well enough
Hobbies/Interests: Chaos >:) Quidditch, learning new things, collecting stuff, architecture, growing plants, potions and the moon
Why did you choose Stargazer tent? It looked cool, I guess. And the stars are pretty. It's very aesthetic. I like the fireflies.
Some of your favorite things: My broom, languages, the moon, lions, jewelry, plants
Some things you dislike: Boredom, missing out on something, leeks
What are you hoping for from camp? Fun and chaos, of course. And maybe seeing some friends and making new ones?
A random interesting fact about yourself: I know seven languages
Would you like to do any of the events as a whole or partial group? (Ex: Broom Sledding, Battle of the Seasons, Scavenger Hunt, Water Race): I'm not sure yet! Probably same as EmmaLee - the battle of the seasons and the water race, maybe?
OOC/ Have discord? Want to be in a group? Add your discord name: Yes please! I'm just mahlioz (:
It was only then that Zophyr realized someone else was in the tent with him, as the sound of a page turning made him jump and turn around. Goodness, what was he just saying about hating missing out on things? And he hadn't even noticed the girl, probably because of how distracted the cold and snow outside had made him. He wasn't used to it at all, especially when he'd been expecting summer.

In surprise, he tried to greet her, but stumbled over his words. "Ah, bonj- euh, habar- sabah alk-" "hello" He paused. Took a breath. Cleared his throat. Remembered he was in Scotland, for god sake. Seriously, this was ridiculous, he really had to get a hold of himself. "Sorry, hello. Do you happen to be one of my tentmates?"

Pinging @Solana Valor so they can have Azul come meet Zoph if they want, hehehe

EmmaLee looked up for a moment as someone entered the tent, a little dazed looking, and wandered over to the introduction sheets she had placed up. The person looked familiar but it took a moment to place that she had met them last summer at the sugar fair and another moment to remember the conversations she had had with that group as they all munched on the tasty pastries that were there. Zophyr, was their name, she was pretty sure and they had said to use they pronouns, if she recalled.

EmmaLee watched Zophyr fill out their form for a moment before turning back to her book. She didn't want to startle the person even further than they already looked startled. Maybe they were confused by the unexpected scenery? EmmaLee had been at first before settling into the, for lack of a better word, magic of it.

She looked up once more as Zophyr began to speak to her and smiled a little at their stumbling. It sounded like they had too many languages in their head, which EmmaLee definitely understood. "'Ello, Zophyr. It is nice to see you again." She said, standing up from her chair and walking over to them with a hand offered to shake. "I'm EmmaLee LeDames, from 'Ogwarts. You and I met briefly at the Sugar Fair last summer, and yes, I made my sleeping area up over there." She said, pointing to her little curtained-off area and turning back to them with a smile.

EmmaLee has not encountered another non-binary person, that she knows of, so please be patient with her as she learns the etiquette. :3 She doesn't understand that pronouns can change. I am using "they" as that is how she thinks of Zophyr right now. When it comes up that his pronouns have changed/ can change, EmmaLee's thinking and speech will also.

Ah, right - they had already met! The sugar fair, from last year's camp; of course. Zophyr nodded, annoyed he hadn't recognized her immediately. And she'd remembered his name, too, which was impressive. He remembered her hair, but could not have remembered her name if she had not told him. Probably because it was rather foreign, compared to what he knew. "Right, it is nice to see you too."

He tried to remember what their first meeting was like - most of that day was spent talking to Tone, who, if Zophyr remembered correctly, had decided to approach EmmaLee in the first place. "Right, you were the girl with the cool butterfly barrette!" He paused. "Wait - girl, right?" Better safe than sorry. After all, sometimes he himself was a girl.

She had the same French accent as last time, and Zophyr remembered wondering whether she was from Beauxbatons the first time. In the end she was actually a Hogwarts student, just with an accent somewhat similar to his, as she'd lived in France before. Though his was more a mix of everything.

A more recent memory than last camp came to mind, and Zophyr's eyes lit up in curiosity. "You wrote on the paper over there that you play cello? Did you bring your instrument with you?" There was no way all this cold was going to be good for such a fragile thing. Zophyr was not very good with instruments, but he'd played quite a few before, and knew them well enough to know extreme temperatures were less than ideal. Though that didn't stop him from hoping she'd brought the cello with her so he could hear some.

"Cygnus," he said aloud to himself and grinned like a loon. A swan definitely befitted her grace, that was for sure. And score! It was a Stargazer tent. He wasn't quite sure what that meant yet, but he hoped it had to do with astronomy. No time to check on that right now. He just wanted to make sure he got a spot in the tent with her, and even as he reached for a self-inking quill from the pile, he hurriedly scripted his John Hancock on the parchment and felt a huge sense of relief. The first thing he had done was scan every name on the multitude of pages for her name. He had had no idea if she was here already or not, but seeing her name answered that question soon enough. And there appeared to be another's name on the roster as well. Someone named Zophyr. Cool. He had no idea if how he was saying that name in his head was correct or not, but he'd wait to hear it before popping off with it.

He turned around and grabbed his trunk and headed onto the stadium field. It was a nice, warm day in London, but that changed soon enough when he got into the Quidditch Stadium proper. Everything had been transformed to look like winter. Stephen quickly moved off to the side, out of the way of everyone trying to make their way in, and thought about everything he had brought with him. He had not really prepared for cold weather. He had one fleece, zip up jacket and a heavy sweater. That was it. He thought even bringing those two things would be overkill, but it was London after all. Never hurt to be prepared, but how could anyone have been prepared for this? He had already signed in so there was no going back out to buy anything. Even if he could, it was s u m m e r. Where would he likely even find warmer clothes than what he already had with him?

Deciding that everyone was most likely in the same boat, he decided to put his trust into the planners and left the issue entirely behind him as he wandered about the field, looking for Stargazer tent "Cygnus". With each footfall, he could hear the snow crunching beneath his sneakers. Snow in July to this California beach boy was odd, but he remembered all the fun he had had his last two summers and crunch-stepped onward towards Cygnus. At least he hoped that is where he was heading. There were no maps given, so it was a hunt.

He reasoned should be easy enough to tell it apart from the other tent offerings. He shuddered involuntarily as he passed by what sounded like a circus or carnival tent. It instantly reminded him of the hideous primary colors of the tent he was imprisoned in last summer and he literally felt his stomach turn. He was hoping that the Stargazer tent would offer a more calming atmosphere to both his psyche and eye sockets. And upon the heels of that thought, he passed by a tent that he thought must surely be a representation of the Stargazer, and his pulse quickened in anticipation. There were telescopes set up on the outside and the tent canvas itself was covered in the most beautiful celestial backdrop with shooting stars and constellations. He noted that the tent would be easy to see in daylight hours, but it was going to be a bear to find at night unless those canvas designs magically glowed at night. There was a sign in front that said Orion. Okay. Now that he knew what he was looking for, he stepped up his pace, making a mental map in his head as he did so. About three minutes later, he saw the Cygnus sign and wanted to race inside, but again, he first took note of the tents around him for future reference.

"Knock! Knock! Fellow tent mate coming in!" he announced as he entered. He was not even certain anyone would be in the tent, but he had a sneaking suspicion EmmaLee might hang around a bit. He wanted to hope it might be because she would be hoping he would show up, but his track record on knowing much about anything when it came to girls was pretty dismal. Or was it just his relationship with EmmaLee that highlighted his ignorance? Yup. Nope. Both. It was definitely girls in general, and her in particular. He just did not know many and none of his friends had sisters, so he was never really around them until her.

As he barged into the tent with his announcement, he discovered that there were indeed people in the tent, and happily, EmmaLee was one of them. He could feel his grin grow wide at the sight of her and he juggled a bag to his other hand so he could wave to her. Last time he met her after having not seen her for a while, he hugged her, but she seemed to pull back from that quickly, so a wave it would be.

The boy was nothing if not trainable.

"It is so good to see you, EmmaLee. I was afraid -" and he took an odd gulp as his mind/mouth connection for a change was working ahead of him and prevented him from saying that he was afraid they wouldn't get to bunk together again this year. Instead, he put his hand up to his throat, begged her pardon, swallowed again for no reason other than to sell his mini ruse, and finished with, "I was afraid I was never going to find this tent. There are a lot of people here." Decent enough save of face there. "Love the theme. Good choice!"

He then turned his gaze to the girl EmmaLee was speaking with when he entered, and acknowledged her as well with his signature wide, friendly smile. "Apologies for interrupting your conversation. I didn't mean to be rude. I just didn't want to take anyone by surprise," and he continued to smile at the girl, but shrugged his shoulder in a mea culpa (Latin for "my fault") move. This next part was the only thing he hated about meeting new people, and it was whether to offer them his hand for a handshake. He had told himself before arriving that he was who he was, and he had been brought up as he had been brought up. He would make the friendly gesture, hoping folks could see it was exactly that - a friendly gesture - and if they chose not to accept his hand, there would be no hard feelings on his side of the equation at least.

He lithely stepped towards her, balancing everything expertly, and offered the hand that had just waved at EmmaLee. "Hello. Nice to meet you. I'm Stephen Schwartz, a 4th year from Ilvermorny. I hope that by the time camp is over we shall be good friends," and if possible, his smile grew even wider.

"Yes. Girl." EmmaLee said a little awkwardly with a smile and a nod, thinking it was a weird question, but not really dwelling on it. She smiled brighter as Zophyr mentioned EmmaLee's note and her cello. "Ah, yes! I did bring it." She said, brightly. She looked at Zophyr with a sneaky kind of smile. "I usually practice every day, but I slack off a little during camp." She said, conspiratorially. "I still thought it would be a good idea to bring it. I shrank it so it would fit in my trunk." She pointed again to her stuff before turning back to Zophyr and asking, "Do you play?"

As EmmaLee finished speaking, the flap of the tent opened and her heart jumped inside of her chest as Stephen entered the tent with a loud announcement and a wave. EmmaLee giggled a little at his antics and waved back.

"Thank you. I 'oped you would like it and join with me. It would be fun if Jamie, Luca, and Miles joined, as well." She said with a bright smile. "It is good to see you, too." She started to take a step towards him to give him a hug in welcome but remembered the electric sensation from last time and dipped into a dramatic curtsy instead. No touching, no invasive feelings. She righted herself and gestured politely to Zophyr with a flat hand.

"This is Zophyr. I believe they are a "they"?" She said, turning to Zophyr for confirmation. EmmaLee didn't quite understand what being a "they/them" meant to Zophyr, but they had said that to someone else at the sugar fair. Now that it was brought to EmmaLee's attention, what did that mean? Was it impolite to ask? Before she had a chance to ask, Stephen had stepped forward and introduced himself. EmmaLee supposed that it would probably come up or she could ask later. Right now she would just enjoy the fact that Stephen was here and she had a new friend to officially make.

Arriving at the tent, open to interaction.

Miles got to the London Quidditch Stadium and looked up with a sigh. This was Summer CAMP at the London QUIDDITCH Stadium - couldn't for once it at least be sort of like CAMPING or something in reference to QUIDDITCH? It looked like this year it was about Christmas. Great, one of those 'Christmas in July' sort of scenarios - great if you had loved ones or things to be thankful for; otherwise Christmas could go take a hike. Miles was on a journey to reinvent himself but currently was still in quite a bad mood from his journey from Kirbati to St. Mungos, and now here.

As he waited in line to register, hearing nothing but voices he couldn't understand from in front of him and behind him, he took out a quick-quotes quill and a pad of parchment. As he began to talk, the quill began to dictate:

"Fifteen HOURS and 35 minutes. Think about that. Let that set in for a moment. Fifteen HOURS and 35 minutes. That's how long I was on that cramped muggle travel device as it meandered through the clouds. Em and Aldrich? Of course they just apparated there because they wanted to be there for the early heavy fog that was to set in the day prior to my arrival - thinking they'd see their magical bird they were determined existed in this peak conditions and it was 'unsafe for me,' to go with them by such means. Unsafe, Lissa! When have they EVER worried about my safety?"

"I was next to a family with three little ones and they let the older wilder one run into the aisleways, smacking everyone as he did so and the two younger ones cried for nearly fifteen hours and 35 minutes. I wanted to send them off to sleep with a good sleeping draught but I didn't meddle. I read in an attempt to find escape and finally found refuse in sleep."

"So we get to Kiribati and it's wonderful. Would I say worth it? Eh....perhaps. They say it's the first country to welcome each new day. That's pretty amazing and it's a beautiful place but sadly poverty stricken. I saw it referenced once that Kirbati is a drowning paradise in the South Pacific and I believe that to be correct because it is estimated that even if we do better to try and prevent climate change, this place will disappear by 2100 due to rising sea levels."

He paused to script out his name on a list, seeing Stephen's name and assuming it was for the Ilvermorny students and then was handed a slip with his tent on it. Stargazer - Cygnus. Those constellations always had interesting stories and whilst he was here hopefully he could research on this one. Miles began to navigate his way to his tent and continued.

"None of this is why I write to you, Lissa, my apologies. I write to tell you that I am well again if you should hear of my adventure long the coastline of Kirbati, when I was exploring the coral. Worst pain I've ever felt in my life, I tell you. I was bit in the leg by a DuBois Sea Snake. The man with my parents said they were quite docile and nothing to worry about - well, this one wasn't, was he?"

He was pretty sure he got to the tent but finished off his letter outside, hoping to not disturb anyone and assumed they couldn't hear him from outside. "They're only the second most toxic snake over all, granted the most toxic sea snake, but essentially harmless in most cases, the man says. He says this while I'm in quite a bit of pain from my leg and that pain seems to be traveling elsewhere throughout my body. Then he goes on to say that there's only been one fatality from a sea snake bite in the 1930s and probably only a handful likely, ever. So he and my parents felt there was no need for emergency help. I was fine, totally fine. No matter I felt nauseated quickly, salivated profusely, ended up throwing up. My vision got blurry. It was FINE they said. I was being DRAMATIC. I will say that the pain that soon spread through my entire body - entire body. I think even my pancreas hurt and I've never felt my pancreas before - well, that started to diminish. I didn't feel pain after awhile. I didn't feel anything. Paralysis was setting in. I was lying there on ground and too focused on my headache and my sweating and my breathing becoming quite shallow to hardly notice. The man said that antivenom should not be used for this bite because it could yield unpleasant side effects and it would be fine, only 3 percent of sea snake bites are ever fatal."

"I woke up in St Mungos in London. I mean, don't know how more assertive I could have been that I needed help and they just stood around and played it off. I'm done. Over it. I told them I wanted to come to Summer Camp with the schools and so I'm here now. I'm well now. Things are always so much better without my parents around."
Miles sighed.

"Missing you and and Gamma though. I'll write to her this evening. Sorry for letting out all my frustrations upon you, dear friend, but I know you're always there for me. I'm well, I'm at camp, and I'm free."

He took the quill now to sign his name, tore off the written page and folded it up, placing everything in his bag before he entered, finding others already inside.

It felt good to find freedom. "Hello tentmates," he smiled, looking to them and seeing some familiar faces in the group but others he didn't know - yet. "I'm Miles. Miles Thatcher. It's good to be here. Let's make this a fantastic summer, shall we?" and he placed his bag down on an empty space.

He saw the paper laying on the bed and smiled, remembering this from the years before and began to fill it out:

Amber loved traveling. Airplanes always made her day, although the food did suck. I mean who served soggy sandwiches as a lunch anyway? Obviously the flight that she was on. But Amber was still in a good mood. She was going to her second favorite place in the world after Ilvermorny. London! The quidditch stadium was home to this year's summer camp. She was making a habit of going every year since her parents were always busy.
She was officially a third year and still a Chaser on the quidditch team. She was more than excited for the summer games and for more quidditch matches. However, traveling beat quidditch any day. Adventure was her thing and what was even better was adventure with your bestie. After a long flight here which was only fun because of one specific person named Kaya Bennett.
Kaya had disappeared somewhere else probably to go talk to someone. I did know for a fact however we were going to be in the same tent. I waited in line to check in. I would put my name down wherever Kaya did, or if she hadn't then she would put it where I was I hoped.
As I stood in line I remembered last year's summer camp. The DIY fair. The adventures to Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. Pranking. I sure hoped this summer would be just as fun. I approached the beginning of the line and put my name down under Stargazer - Cygnus. Well, I didn't really know why but I saw a few other Ilvermorny students there. Not Kaya though which was strange. Hopefully she would put her name down here soon.
I then entered the Quidditch Pitch. Whoa... Why was it winter? And why was it so cold? I was shivering... since when was it cold in summer? But as I looked around I realized the theme was a snowy and wintery summer. I sighed. Of course I should have listened to my mother. Packing some sweatshirts would have been a good idea. I was missing her already. I sighed.
I continued to walk hugging my arms around myself. I wasn't the only one who was cold. Oh I surely hoped there were heaters. There was one problem with traveling. I missed my parents. She only missed her brother sometimes. Not when he stole everything from her. But when he gave her a huge hug when she was having a bad day. She was even more excited because this year her brother would also be a Ilvermorny. This was good and bad. She just hoped he wouldn't get in trouble.
Part of her wished she had stayed back to help her brother out but the other part of her told her that Finn would want to do it on his own. That was what he had told her anyway. So she missed her family even though she loved traveling. But she would send letters to little Finn of her adventures and tell stories to him. He was sweet. Until he was sour. And then the story telling would stop. Like me, he had a very mixed personality. It ran in the family. Amber giggled at that thought.
Surprisingly, she wasn't as cold now. I guess it took some getting used too. Amber finally approached the Stargazer tent. As she went inside she found there were already four people on their beds chatting. I quickly set my stuff down finding an empty bed. I waved at all my tentmates. I recognized a few. For instance Miles and Stephen both went to Ilvermorny and then there was EmmaLee who I had met at the ball. The other person I did not know but I would get to know this summer.
"Hey! I'm Amber Frost Hart! It's nice to meet you," I said directing my words to the person who I didn't know. I couldn't tell if the person was a girl or a boy so I didn't assume pronouns. The other three who I knew I said, "And it's nice to see you again EmmaLee, Miles and Stephen!"
As I sat down on the bed, I found a little sheet of paper to fill out. I quickly grabbed a quill and filled it out.

Talking to the group. Open to interaction.

The bunk that Miles had chosen one was one of the last ones available in the tent and that put Amber closeby, close enough that as she wrote he glanced over to see what she was writing down. "Hmm," he said at the second mention of it and felt it was interesting enough to bring up to the group that was the Cygnus Stargazer tent. "This one says she likes pranking others and adventure. I'm up for a good adventure and a good prank. What do you say, Cyngus? Shall we pick out another tent and shake a little more than snowflakes up in this place?" Shake things up a bit - make it a little more exciting. Besides, a little prank usually always brought about some comradery and wasn't that the best thing to build bonds amongst those in their tent?

Sure, there were plenty of events to attend during that summer camp at the London Quidditch Stadium but it never hurt to spice things up a little. They were there to create memories and make friends and Miles was ready for both. "Anyone in and if so, does anyone have any ideas?" Miles could probably think of some - it should be more or less harmless, amusing, and would be best if it could be done with magic because everything was better with a little magic involved.
