Ophelia hurried along the courtyard, wanting to get to the Great Lake as soon as possible. She'd just gotten a very interesting mystery book for the library and couldn't put it down. Unfortunately, the Ravenclaw common room was full of people, and as was the library. That meant to get a quiet, peaceful corner, she had to go outside.

The Great Lake was, as was in its name, large. Even if other students wanted a peaceful spot, there was enough space for everyone to have a quiet corner, which was exactly what she needed. Ophelia resisted the urge to read as she walked, knowing that it was dangerous.

But what if the robber gets away again? Does that mean... Ophelia's thoughts about her book trailed off as she spotted an empty place near the lake. There was a pink cherry blossom tree which she could lean on as she read and it didn't appear to have any other students near. Feeling lucky for such a great spot, the Ravenclaw plopped down on the ground, taking her book out of her satchel and proceeding to bury her nose into it.

Just as she was about to get sucked into the storyline once more, Ophelia felt something fall onto her hair and her shoulders. Blinking, she looked around and realised that cherry blossom flowers had fallen from the tree. She looked up, wondering what had caused them to fall.

What she saw made Ophelia jump with surprise. A student was in the tree! The girl was climbing up, higher and higher, and probably didn't realise that another person was below. What is she doing up there? Ophelia wondered. Not many people climbed trees randomly for fun. Maybe she threw something and it got stuck in the tree? Does she need help?

Ophelia looked uncertainly between her book and the girl. If the girl truly needed help, then Ophelia would feel terrible if she chose her own entertainment over her. But if the girl was just having fun? She would get embarrassed. She hesitated, finally deciding to check on the girl casually.

Setting the book gently back in her satchel, Ophelia stood up, walking a bit farther away so she had a good view of the girl in the tree. "Hey there! Um, are you alright?"

As Tori climbed a little higher up the tree to collect the flower petals, she caused the flowers to fall. As he climbed higher, ignoring these, she heard a girl's voice below. When he looked there, he realized that the girl was calling out to Tori.

She gathered some cherry blossom petals and quickly climbed down. When she got close to the ground, she jumped off the tree and the tree leaves got into her hair as she tried to jump properly. But she managed to land properly. She smiled at the girl without caring.

"Hello. I'm fine, don't worry. I just had it in me after the prom. I was just climbing the tree to collect cherry blossom petals. I wanted to improve my collection in this beautiful spring time. Do you want it too?"

She handed the cherry blossom petals in her hand to the girl. She loved to share. When she looks at the girl with dark brown hair and blue eyes, she realizes that he doesn't know the girl's name. She extended her hand in a friendly manner and started talking.

"My name is Victoria. Victoria Lena Jones. But you can call her Tori or Vic for short. So, What is your name?"

Ophelia let out a small breath of relief as the girl called down that she was perfectly fine. Feeling suddenly curious as to what the other girl was doing up in the cherry blossom tree, Ophelia listened to the rest of what she was saying.

A collection? Of flowers? It seemed unlikely for a girl as adventurous the one in front of Ophelia to be a flower collector, but the Ravenclaw wasn't one to judge. "Um, no, I'm good. I don't collect flowers." She smiled, bending to pick a slightly smooshed blossom off of the grass. "Plus, there are ones down here."

But it seemed to Ophelia that the other girl didn't hear her dismissal since she extended a handful of blossoms towards the young Ravenclaw. Hesitantly, Ophelia took them with a shy smile. Though she'd always been surrounded by friendly, warm people, everyone didn't always openly share what they'd found for themselves. "Thanks!"

The other girl introduced herself as Victoria Lena Jones, saying that she went by Vic or Tori for short. Ophelia took the girl's extended hand, shaking it once before letting go, her smile still present.

"I'm Ophelia Lynn Northwell," she said, copying the other girl's use of her middle name. "It's great to meet you, Tori. So, do you climb trees often? Because I'm pretty sure that's against the rules." She added the last part with a grin, hoping the other girl wouldn't think her weird.

Tori smiled and looked at the flower the girl showed. She knew there were flowers down there.

“Yes, but the flowers below are a little wrinkled. And it would be an excuse for a nice fun. What seems impossible to people seems more beautiful."

She smiles and listens to the girl introduce herself. Meanwhile, a nickname comes to her mind. A smile came to her face when she remembered the meaning of the name Ophelia.

"I'm glad to meet you, Ophelia. Do you know, your name comes from 'Ophelos', which means help in Greek. Are you helpful? The word Lynn means 'lake' in Celtic languages. And can I call you Helia? I don't climb trees much. And there's no rule that says you can't climb trees. "

She put the leaves in his hand aside, took his bag from under the tree and took out his collection book, pen and tape. She sat down on the floor and picked up a beautiful leaf, carefully placed it on the page and taped it. He wrote the name of the flower underneath. Then she turned to Helia.

"Do you want to take a look? I've been making this collection since I was little and this is my third notebook."

Ophelia blinked a few times as Tori began speaking extremely fast. She spoke about the Ravencalw's name's Greek origin and the name Lynn's Celtic origin. Both were facts Ophelia already knew, of course, but no one else has ever seemed to know before.

"I-I suppose I'm helpful. I usually help my friends if they ever need it. And... Helia?" The nickname itself wasn't ugly, in fact it was extremely pretty, but no one had ever called her a shortened name. She didn't think she would actually respond to it. "I guess you can call me Helia, though it might take me a moment to respond until I get used to it."

Ophelia smiled as Tori said that there was no rule against tree climbing. She had thought so, but it had been just a natural response.

As Tori sat down, Ophelia watched in curiosity as she took out supplies from her own bag, one that she hadn't noticed in her haste to read, and began the careful process of preserving the cherry blossom.

Tori asked if Ophelia would like to take a look and she brightened. She nodded enthusiastically. Of course she wanted to see. She loved biology, mostly zoology, but botany was interesting too.

"Yes, please! That's so cool. The only thing I've collected before is first edition books." Ophelia said. She crouched down next to Tori to look through the book.

There were so many different leaves and blossoms inside and she was surprised. Collecting all of this must have takenba lot of patience. Tori must not have been the not able to sit still sort of girl that Ophelia had first thought.

"Do you really like plants?"

"The word Ophelia is too long so I thought it would be easier to say Helia and I remembered muggle cartoons. Do you know what cartoons mean?"

Some wizards didn't interact with muggles so they didn't know about muggle stuff. Tori would be happy to explain it to them if she asked.

Tori held her up a little closer so she could look at her notebook. Helia's face lit up when she spoke. Ever since she was little, she had wanted to be a botanist, something her father had done. But when she got to know the wizarding world, some of her desires began to change.

"Yes. I love it very much. We have a huge greenhouse at home. I have a lot of paintings and drawings. My father is also a botanist. If you want, I can show you my sketchbook."

She handed the scrapbook to Helia and opened her bag again, this time opening the sketchbook and starting to show it. At this time, he felt something moving in his hand and when she looked at her hand, she saw that there was a spider. She brought her hand closer and flowed towards the spider. It didn't look like a poisonous spider and it looked very cute.

"Hi little buddy. You're very cute."

Ophelia wondered whether everyone else also thought her name was too long to say. Did they all want a nickname to call her by, too? Maybe Helia should become an everybody thing.

"Yeah, I know what cartoons are. I'm a half-blood." Ophelia explained, deciding not to go through her entire history of not knowing about magic until she'd gotten her first instance.

As Tori explained her love of plants, Ophelia connected with her, thinking about her own passion for animals. She loved learning about creatures big and small, and could totally relate to Tori's love of all the different types of plants. "I'd love to see your sketchbook. You must a talented artist if you can capture the essence of different plants in your drawings." She meant it. Whenever she tried to draw a tree, it always came out looking the same, never different based on the type.

Tori handed the scrapbook to Ophelia and she paged through it, admiring the different leaves and stems and flowers. One could only experience the diversity of life if they truly looked. Tori was about to open her sketchbook as well when she seemed to get distracted.

Ophelia craned her neck to get a better look and found a little spider crawling on Tori's arm. It was a small, cute creature, but Ophelia knew better than to neglect the poisonous powers of any animal. She took a closer look at it before deciding that it was harmless.

"Tori! You like animals too? Most people I know would run screaming from a spider." She chuckled. She didn't blame everyone else, it was just disappointing to know that no one else appreciated their beauty.
