It was a particularly late evening when Violeta was inside the manor, which had once belonged to her grandfather, Sir Charles Roux, the fifth. The girl had only moved a week ago, but she had already explored the whole entire home, except for one place: the library.
Once she entered the huge room, she was completely surrounded by a huge layer of dust and books. She assumed her house elf, Rosie hadn't gotten to cleaning the library. However, she didn't actually mind. Violeta put her hair up in a bun, and started exploring.
The library was huge. There were probably thousands of books, and as any other child would, she started exploring and exploring. Many of the books, she had already read, but even more books, she hadn't read just yet. There were also books on inventing, though she couldn't use magic just yet, she asked her parents, however she actually found them fascinating.
Until, she pulled a book, and it wouldn't come out. She pushed it even more and she heard a sound of a door opening. Had she just made an exciting discovery? As a matter of a fact, she made a huge discovery.
Violeta looked to the left and she saw that one of the shelves had gone? It must have been a secret entrance, she knew her father said that there would be many around the manor, so she went inside. It was quite dark and deep, until she reached what didn't feel like a cramped corridor. She saw that it was magically lit, which was something that the corridor was not.
Once she got closer, she closed her eyes, she was definitely scared, but then she opened them again, and she saw a huge study. It was really huge, and covered in cobwebs and dust. There was a ladder going up, and the room had a circular form. She assumed it was probably her grandfather's study.
There was a huge desk in the centre of the room, and she walked over there. She opened the drawers and then she saw it: a small leather journal, with her grandfather's initials at the very bottom of the cover: C.G.R., Charles George Roux. She opened it, but then, she figured it would be better to open it later, in her room.
Violeta stormed out of the study and went back to the library. Then, she grabbed a few books, and took them to her room. She left everything on her bed, and then she went outside to go play with her sisters.
