Ava was never fully out of trouble.
She remained was calm as she snuck into the divination classroom again, although clearly she hadn't taken account of what 'divination' was. Her plans wouldn't get far, given the professor taught how to see into the future.
It seemed that the divination professor had the misfortune of becoming Ava's new target, now that the Professor Baird was gone. How unlucky for Sereia, but lucky for Ava. Ava had little intent on the particular day, and no plan other than to come in and destroy something. The only tool she had was her wand and a few well practiced spells. That and her hands, although it wouldn't be nearly as fun not to go the magical route. But magic wasn't always the answer.
A slow grin spread across her face as she considered the idea slowly forming in her mind. Moving the desks and the crystal balls on the desks would be chaos in itself. Ava rolled her shoulders before setting to work, grabbing each crystal ball in sight and forming a sort pyramid in the middle of the classroom with them. Her next focus? The desks. They were already sort of randomly placed, but Ava knew exactly what to do with them once she laid eyes on the cloth coverings on the tables. Call it childish, but she wanted to create a blanket fort throughout the room. She did her best to be quiet, but you could only be so quiet when attempting to move tables throughout the room. She shoved a few in front of the doorway and draped the cloths on them to create the fort, and she was about to continue until she spotted the chalkboard across the room. She practically skipped over as she grabbed the chalk underneath the board, and began doodling stars and hearts over the board. To finish the board, she wrote in full blocky letters: 'AVA'S FORT'.

Sereia's Calming Presence is in effect
If Sereia earned a dollar for every time someone told her 'you should've seen it coming', she would be able to buy a two-storey, four bedroom, three bathroom, and garage house back in New Zealand. Considering the rising cost of living and recession going on there, that would be a luxury to have. Despite her lack of Sight, she knew enough from her father to know that a Seer's ability to see into the future was random and couldn't be summoned. Fate chose what they wanted you to see, not the other way around.
Still, she should've expected Ava Winchect to come bother her again. Sereia wasn't sure what she did to cause the little Slytherin to hyper-fixate on her, but this wasn't the first time kids annoyed her for attention.
Sereia was in her office winding down with a book after her run, mentally preparing for dinner, when she heard screeches and screams of wood sliding against flooring. For a few minutes she froze. When silence came, she put her book down on her desk and began quietly walking [Cat's Grace] towards her door. She didn't expect to see the tablecloths all connected and kept together with her crystal balls. What was all this about?
The words 'AVA'S FORT' written on her chalk-board were enough of an answer.
Usually, Sereia would be annoyed. But this? This was cute. She wasn't sure the floor was actually a comfortable place to relax, but she stayed hidden behind the door and just watched, wondering what Ava would do next.

It was fine, just fine. She knew it was no where near the most creative she had been in her ideas, meaning she needed to spice it up a little. She couldn’t just leave the classroom disorganized, she needed to leave the classroom in ruin. If that meant that her fort wouldn’t be as comfortable, so be it. She drew out her wand, smirking at the wood and flicking it if only so she could marvel at the fact that she even had a wand. She considered her small yet growing category of spells, trying to remember one that would be useful to her destruction. The obvious ones, incendio and the sparks charms were obvious, but not her style. Not for this. She had learned that destruction had limits to its enjoyment. It was fun to cause a little trouble, but too much and it could go wrong. One miscast, or a spell going out of hand was all it could take to take a prank to a problem.
“Bullarum Immortalem!” She cast, almost mindlessly, barely thinking about the spell before casting it. Almost instantly, a steady stream of bubbles erupted from the tip of her wand, streaming onto the floor and dissolving, but not before more could take place and begin to form clumps on the ground. Even more started to float through the air, and she continued the charm until she seemed satisfied with the result, and tucked her wand back in her pocket. “Well done, Winchect.” She murmured.

Sereia's Calming Presence is in effect
When Ava unsheathed her wand, Sereia's first instinct was to jump down and grab it from her. Call her paranoid or whatever, her crystal balls would not be broken again. It already cost a lot to get them replaced, even moreso to get brand new materials for her plans. But she controlled herself. That didn't stop Sereia from taking her own wand out in case the girl would cause chaos.
The incantation of the bubble-producing charm surprised her, however. Bubbles? Wasn't that a counterproductive choice if Ava wanted to cause chaos? Those things could slow you down with one wrong step. The bubbles kept coming, regardless, and Sereia watched with curious eyes. Sereia couldn't fault that the spell was well cast.
Well done, indeed. Sereia hummed. She was still confused with what Ava was doing. Was it time to make her presence known? She didn't really want to go back into her office and just let Ava unfold. Besides, she would have the girl undo her pillow fort (however cute Sereia thought of it) for the morning class tomorrow. Raising her wand, she whispered, "Lepidterio."
A handful of white butterflies formed at the tip of her wand and fluttered down towards the lower level, avoiding the bubbles along the way. Sereia made sure one of them ended up on Ava's shoulder. What she intended to do with the butterflies from that point, Sereia had no clue. She just wanted the girl's attention.

Ava seemed pretty proud of her casting, and she gazed around the classroom she had rearranged into chaos. Once the professor came back, she would be in for quite the surprise. What else could Ava do to further annoy the professor? Maybe she had something in her dorm room she could bring in to create further chaos? Or she could cast another spell? So many options.
Before she could settle on an idea, she saw butterflies floating through the room, and one even landed on her shoulder! Ava contained a giggle as she looked at her shoulder and the white butterfly there. "Aww, aren’t you cute?" she told the butterfly, looking around to see where it had come from. But no windows were open, and she doubted the butterflies flew through the castle to get here.
Maybe the professor kept butterflies as pets? That would be very strange indeed… but maybe Ava ought to go check that she hadn’t accidentally released butterflies from the office.
Or she could just let them float around the room with the bubbles, although if the butterflies accidentally got crushed that would be terrible. She slowly made her way towards the stairs, her eyes glued to how worn they were beginning to look. She placed her foot on the first step, carefully watching the stairs to make sure they wouldn’t suddenly crack and fall.

Sereia's Calming Presence is in effect
The butterflies had caught Ava's attention, though not in the way Sereia intended. In fact, they hadn't really got her attention at all. Sereia figured the presence of white butterflies would have the girl frantically looking around to check who else was around, considering white butterflies didn't exactly occur naturally in a classroom. Though, Sereia supposed she could have a pet up here to keep her company. Ava had only taken a look at the closed window and not up the stairs where she'd been standing for the whole spiel.
Still, Ava was clueless about her position as she started up the stairs. Time to make yourself known, Sereia figured. She pocketed her wand in her sleeve and crossed her arms as the girl headed up. "Good evening, Ava. I wasn't expecting anyone this evening," she started.
Sereia looked back down at the bubbles and blanket fort on the floor below. Surely there were other spells that would get the cleaning done faster. For what it's worth, at least there was no property damage for once. Gods knew her broken crystal balls were enough for one month. "I also wasn't expecting a sleepover to happen here. Those usually happen on Fridays. Anything I can help you with this evening?"

Ava startled as a voice called down the steps to the professors office. She glanced up and found the professor waiting with crossed arms, certainly waiting to dish out a punishment for the destruction contained within the classroom. Ava sighed dramatically and stopped her journey up the steps. "Professor Clairmont! Are you here to admire my masterpiece?" She inquired with a smirk.
She knew for a fact that the professor had not arrived with that purpose in mind, although Ava was beginning to question how long the professor had meant to watching from her office.
Ava glanced back at the destruction behind her and grinned, proud of her efforts. "Do you like it?" Ava asked, ignoring the question Clairmont had asked her. She climbed back down the stairs and spun in a circle, arms open to proudly display her work.
For a second Ava’s eyes shifted from dull brown to bright yellow, her ability highlighting her excitement in causing this trouble. Without Clairmont’s calming effect on Ava, she would probably be bouncing off the walls like a child given too much sugar. Ava’s foot still tapped quietly on the floor, waiting to get a reaction out of the professor. Whatever would keep Ava relevant, as she was so quickly slipping back into the background of Hogwarts life.
