"The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease forever to be able to do it" - JM BarrieDate: 3rd September
Time: 3:00pm ❅ Estelle was reading in the courtyard when Athena (her kitten) padded up to her - a scrap of paper in her mouth. Assuming Athena wanted to play, Es pulled out one of the many cat toys she had on her person (she loved her floof) and began to wave it, watching as Athena's pupils widened, the kitten crouching - preparing to pounce. Athena tensed, then pounced on the tiny ball of feathers, dropping the scrap of paper. Es picked it up.
She read the note. It told her of a secret club held for Metamorphagi. Estelle was immediately intrigued. She was fascinated by those with special abilities and those of or descended from magical races. In fact, Es and her friend Aries had set up a club to support and befriend those with these abilities and to allow them to connect with others like them.
However, this club was clearly secret. It seemed as if those attending wished to keep their abilities a secret, which Es respected. Maybe she should attend. Maybe she should just keep her knowledge to herself and destroy the note. That would probably be the best course of action.
Estelle turned around and began to walk, Athena following her. She was going to take the note to the toilets and wet it to the point where even a reparo or hot-air charm wouldn't be able to make the note legible.
She reached the bathrooms and was preparing to destroy the note. Just as she was about to turn the tap, she paused. It wouldn't hurt to just attend one meeting, right? She would destroy the note so others didn't know about it and as long as she was honest about being fully human and kept the identities of those who didn't wish their abilities to be revealed, she should be alright.
It was decided then. She would attend, being open and honest about how she came to know of the club.
