It was the 1st September and that meant it was back to school. For Lucian is meant a second year with his friends but it also meant the first year for his new brother, Malakai. Malakai was a late bloomer and only just got his first instance of magic a few months ago which unfortunately lead to him being moved from his former adoptive household and to live with Lucian and his family.

Malakai looked very uncomfortable as he and Lucian made their way to the train, already having said goodbye to Sadie and Georg at London Station. Lucian glances at Malakai as they waded through people. The boy was constantly glancing everywhere and his hand was gently tapping against his leg. "Stop it," Lucian muttered, "You look weird," but that didn’t deter the other lad. Luci sighed and shook his head, moving him when he almost walked into an older-looking girl. "Watch where you’re going," he snapped, but not to Malakai, to the girl.

Finally, they got close to the train but that’s where Lucian stopped and grabbed Malakai so he would stop too. "Find somewhere else to sit; you’re not sitting with me. I want to sit with my friends," he told him seriously. "Find other firsties," he advised, "Or older years. But stay away from the second years. I know them,"

"Why does it matter if you know them?" Malakai asked curiously.

"They are my year and I don’t want you talking to them," Lu replied, not even looking at the boy. He was too busy walking down the train.

"But-"

"Dude. Just back off," Luci interrupted, he really wasn’t in the mood for this. He wasn’t feeling the best, thank you Werewolf curse, and still feeling bitter about loosing a friend and someone he cared for more deeply than a friend. "If they are second years, leave." and Lucian walked off to find a carriage and hopefully his friend although he wouldn’t know that his friend would find him.
