Alaric huffed; he was bored. Very bored. He stopped playing with his fox teddy and scrambled to his feet, making his way over to where he knew his brother was, Nicklaus. "Klaus! Come play with me!" Alaric said excitedly, pulling at his arm. It seemed his brother was reading a book, Alaric glared at the book. He hated reading; it was so boring. Just sitting around and staring at small letters? He would much rather get on a broom! "Nickyyy," he drawled, flopping over the chair so that his upper body was sprawled out over his brother.

With a big yawn, Alaric moved his head to see what book he was reading, he then reached and attempted to grab it. "Play with me!" he demanded once again. "I’ll tell mama and papa," the little boy yawned, he stayed up really late last night just playing with his toys. "I will tell them they you are not playing with me!" and he pouted a tad. Even at 6 years old, the twins don’t really get along. Alaric loves getting out and seeing the world. The German boy reached and tried to tug on the book Klaus was reading. "Only for like- like twenty minutes,” Alaric asked, flashing his 10 fingers twice to make 20.

Klaus had wake up that morning feeling exited. He had been with his mother at Diagon Alley the day before, they went to buy new supplies for her potions and he had asked her for a new book. As always Oriana Havertz would not say no to her son’s request of knowledge. They had went to Flourish and Blotts where Klaus bought the new dark green covered book.

“Aconite is a common plant with magical properties.” He started to read when his brother’s voice came to his ears, “Klaus! Come play with me!". Nicklaus had been sat at the large dark and rich wooden table inside their mansion’s library. It was a spacious room, with hundreds of books and parchments, all well kept and put in the tall bookshelves. From old manuscripts to the most recent and famous magical books, the large library was a sacred place of knowledge about the Havertz family’s history and all the magical world where they have been living for generations. Klaus always had felt that that, was the best place in the world.

Alaric’s voice in the other hand, was the worse thing that ever had existed in the young’s boy’s life and unfortunately, for all his future sins, he was his twin. “Leave me alone Alaric! Please go scream some place else!” Klaus muttered to his brother feeling annoyed to his bones. "Nickyyy," the voice came now closer to his right ear making Klaus cringe and looking at his brother with piercing grey eyes. As his presence wasn’t enough by interrupting his moment of piece, Alaric had really to sprawl himself over him? “GET OFF!” Klaus lost his cool pushing Alaric away from him with his shoulders. “You joking? You”ll tell mum what?” Klaus asked enraged, “put yourself and you filthy hands away from my stuff!” He warned returning his eyes back to his book, but being unable to concentrate in his readings.

“I will tell them they you are not playing with me!" Alaric replied. “Then I’ll tell her that you’re dumb and can’t read. You can’t even put more than two letters together and make sense of it!” Klaus replied now with an evil demeanour, now his purpose was not just to get his brother away, now he meant to hurt, to have his fun now his readings had been so annoyingly interrupted. "Only for like- like twenty minutes,” Alaric insisted flashing his in front of his eyes, like he needed his finger to count such a simple number…pathetic! “No!” Klaus replied slowly with seriousness, his eyes looking into those of his brother, like he wanted that word to be engraved in his brain.
