"Gilgamesh was an old king with numerous tales written from his story, down to a huge collection of 12 tablets. It is an odyssey taking place in - Elsian!" Regina looked up from her parchment and fumed at the sight of her best friend napping on top of their Ancient Runes textbook and research manuals. She did not drag him by his ear into the Study Hall so the imbecile could be lazy instead of studying the precious, carefully written notes she'd taken during the lesson earlier that morning. It was already bad that Elsian had decided it would be such a great idea to sleep in class just because he didn't like Runes, but there was no way Regina would allow him to slack off when they should be preparing for their O.W.L.s. Mostly, she wanted something to occupy her mind with in order to stop thinking about what happened in August. The funeral was still a constant ghostly presence haunting her, and the only thing she could do was to throw herself into her schoolwork and babysit her irresponsible sloth of a best friend. Making sure Elsian took their fifth year seriously and avoid an impending failure. Seeing the idiot still napping away oh so peacefully in the land of dreams, Regina's right eye twitched as she grabbed the nearest book and hit him square on the head. It bounces off with a loud smack as if the male teen didn't have anything inside his skull. She wouldn't doubt it at all. "Wake up, you knob cheese," she hissed. "and answer this question. Which nation did Gilgamesh ruled over as King?" It was clearly an interrogation to check if he'd been listening before he nodded off in the middle of their study session. She was gonna pull out her wand if he so much as stuttered. | ||
