The grounds of the castle were illuminated in a shimmering light as the sun's golden rays added a supernatural touch to the normally gloomy and dull surroundings. The brilliant colors of the spring season were painted on the castle walls' blossoming flowers and lush greenery.Link to Quidditch System: viewtopic.php?t=7504
The announcer stepped up to his podium, microphone in hand, ready to entertain the crowd. His eyes scanned the audience, drinking in their excited murmurings and enthusiastic chatter. Without warning, he took a deep breath to compose himself. "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, today is a special day! We have two amazing teams competing against each other: Hufflepuff versus Ravenclaw. Both of these teams are known for their exceptional talents, and I'm sure they will not disappoint us today!" The announcer paused to take a sip of water from his flask before continuing. "But let's not keep you waiting any longer; let's get started!"
A hush spread over the crowd as the teams emerged from their respective locker rooms.
"Hufflepuff team!" the announcer called out, pointing towards the yellow and black robes. "Led by their captain @Howard White and co-captain @Avery McCall!" The Hufflepuff team stepped forward with confidence, each holding their brooms aloft.
Behind them, the Ravenclaw team walked onto the pitch. "Ravenclaw team!" the announcer shouted, pointing towards the blue and silver robes. "Led by their captain @Cecily Quinn and co-captain @Lavinia Cloven!" The Ravenclaw team followed suit, their brooms glinting in the spring sun.
As the announcer finishes his introduction, the players take their positions on the pitch. The crowd falls silent, eager to see who will come out on top.
The moment of truth finally arrived as the announcer declared, "Let the game begin!"
A note to all players: The word count minimum is 50 words. The next deadline to post and submit strategy is 120 hours from the time this is posted. You must include in your first post (and preferably all posts) any active abilities, your character's stats (without broom, you can also include the stats with broom but they must be clearly separated), and your character's chosen broom and its effects.

He would find himself eagerly darting towards the Quidditch Pitch, the stadium hopefully filled with cheering people. If there weren't- well- Clark would just envision that people were cheering his name. He seemed so self-centered that he would just give that facade to himself, to say that he truly was the best and that people should just admire him.

After the win in the Winter Quidditch Match, Damion was feeling better. His house had won the game. He was very proud of it. He was ready for this game. He was looking forward to winning this game too. He couldn't wait for what happened. He was eager to see how this game ended. He was being all positive and optimistic about this.

Excitement and nervousness warred with each other within her. She hoped she does well in her first game today. She took a deep breath as she walked to the bench with her new broom. For now she would just cheer on her team and hoped for the best outcome.

Edme's stomach swirled with nerves, rushing like a river and making her hands all tense and her feet all wobbly. She's said it before and she'd say it a million times over, if Quidditch were a running sport she would be done for.
Next to the noises swarming through the air like fruit flies and the regular before-game anxiety that she was sure pushed everyone on the team, they were playing against Hufflepuff. Meaning, by extension, Avery was somewhere over with the other team. Of course, the two were both benched, but they were still in the same game. As she walked onto the pitch, the Ravenclaw tried to see if she could catch a glimpse of the other.

Turns out taking up the mantle of co-captain midseason was nerve-wracking enough without the weight of an unbeaten streak tacked on top. They'd been training hard, though. They could do this.
The voice of the announcer finally jolts Avery from her thoughts. The first year adopts a timid smile and offers up a few words of encouragement to those taking the field before making her own way toward the sideline. The sight of the blue robes of their opponent has the Hufflepuff stealing a glance towards the opposing bench. The smile eases into something a little more natural and Avery lifts a hand to offer Edme a quick wave.────────────────────────────────Action: Benched.Reducio

Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw - Spring 2023
It was the last game of the season, and so far, they were doing pretty good. The last game was a miraculous win that still bewildered Annie. But a win was a win, and hopefully they'd pull out another one today.
Pulling on her leather gloves, she'd close her locker and get in line, hearing the familiar thunder of feet and roar of excitement as the air crackled with intensity. Today would be a good match up.
The cheers almost became deafening as they strode out onto the pitch. Shifting over to the benches she'd give a thumbs up of affirmation to her teammates who took to the field. Next to her sat the other secondstrings, one was new according to her memory, it would be her first game. Roxette was her name.
Unbeknownst to the blind Hufflepuff, the girl was sat beside her. "First game. Nervous or excited? Perhaps both?" She'd speak, although a bit loud to be heard separate from the packed stands behind her. Her own hands were clasped in her lap, knee bouncing in a content rhythm.

It was always kind of odd how Howard felt come game day. The days, even weeks before the match his brain would be on high alert as he went toiled over everything in his mind. Which plays should they run? How would they perform? Could they stand up to team Ravenclaw in their last match of the season? However, as he woke that morning his mind would be clear of any anxiety. The chance to play another game of Quidditch was upon them and his love for the sport would dominate any concern he may have. Yes, he did want to win, but soon enough he would be zooming through the air with his team. Win or loss, there was fun to be had!
"Alright Hufflepuff! Let's go!" Howard bellowed out to his team before kicking off into the air!

Alright, it was another game, the 3rd game this season that Rita has participated in since joining the Hufflepuff Quidditch team last year, and it was a game against the birds. The Hufflepuff team has had a great year winning the first two games this season, and it was obvious that Rita hoped their luck would continue for this 3rd match against the birds. 3 wins in a row, it would definitely secure Hufflepuff`s place in the summer game. Afterall, with 2 wins in their hands, the badgers were already a strong candidate for the summer game. Bringing her nimbus 1700 broom, the Second Year Hufflepuff first-string beater arrived at the Quidditch Pitch and began to mount on her broom and prepare for the game to officially start.
"I have no idea how this game is gonna turn out to be. But with us practicing exceptionally hard and winning the first two games this season, I believe it is going to be a great match. You can do this, Rita, and hopefully we can bring back another Quidditch win to our peers in Hufflepuff cheering on us!" Rita thought with some determination as she was preparing for her first moves, and sincerely hoped it would be a great game between the two brilliant teams.

Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw - Spring 2023
Another day, another match, and Cecily was still riding a high from their overwhelming victory against Gryffindor mere months ago. It had been a rocky start to the season, but Ravenclaw was back in their groove, and ready to add another win to their belt. If they won this, they'd be a shoo-in for the summer international match, and Cecily was itching for redemption after the disasterous match of August 2022. They would go all the way this year, she knew, and it all started with this match against Hufflepuff. It all started right now.
Cecily couldn't help but smile as her name was announced alongside Lavinia's. The iconic Chaser duo were taking the pitch for a match as co-captains for the first time, and there would be nothing standing in the way of Team Ravenclaw and utter victory over Hufflepuff. Well, there were several Bludgers and the sneaky little Snitch to deal with, but other than that-- nothing at all.
