Settling the Score

Raizel had always looked forward to the end of class and enjoy some free time before dinner. Today though, she is more excited about it. She had a talk with someone and they were up for some… spell casting but that's not all, today is the day she and Lucian will settle the score of what happened back in the corridors and what better way to do it than dueling and this time, they'll do it properly and with someone supervising them.
The dueling club is always open to those who need to practice duel and it is the only place where they can cast spells at each other without getting into trouble from what she knows as there will be a lot of people there to get them help in case they might need it. They could go all out there and that's what she intends to do. Then again, settling the score isn't the only thing she has in mind. She had been craving for some duel practice, not satisfied with the results of her own studying and training when it comes to dueling. What she lacks, she can’t seem to find. Was it control? Aim? Dodging? She doesn’t know and she can’t stand it.
Dueling seems to be the only way for her to find answers to that question, to learn what she lacks. This will be a good opportunity for it. After class, she asked one of her classmates and closest friend to help with this and luckily, she agreed to at least take on the supervising role in this duel. Hopefully, that’s enough to keep them away from getting into trouble and detention. Speaking of detention, she hasn't told anyone about that, afraid of what they may think if she were honest. She got detention for losing her cool and starting a fight. Not a good impression right there. Raizel just shrugged it off as she arrived in the dueling club and then entered it to wait for the others.

I looked at the door to the Duelling room knowing who was inside — I may have been walking behind Rai but at a slower pace. I didn’t want to go in yet; I needed to think. When me and her had that impromptu duel in the corridors, it was actually fun. I loved it! Despite the fact we couldn’t agree on a winner that is.
Now that needed to change; there needed to be a winner or else it was all in vain! And where else to do it than the duelling club? I actually liked the idea of this! When Miss Langstreth mentioned it in detention well that piqued my interest a smidge! Maybe I will join in a year or so? I opened the doors and walked inside where Rai already was, waiting. “Hey,” I greeted awkwardly,” walking in and letting the door shut. “So I heard you brought someone to watch us?” I asked, depositing my school bag to the side. I wasn’t sure just how this would go down or who she had in mind to supervise us. Was it a first year? I bet they will be a Dork! I had left a note on my bed said I was busy should Colin or anyone go searching for me but I doubt it. I didn’t care who knew about my detention because either way they catch Slytherin no matter what.
“Who did you bring to supervise us?” I questioned, sitting down by bag. I hope they showed up soon! “Ready for me to kick your arse?” I teased, grinning at her.
Couldn’t wait for this!!

Settling the Score
"Wait..." Ying started after hearing Rai, "You want to duel? Now?" she had to ask her friend with a little too much suspicion in her voice and a rumbling sound in her belly. To be fair, they just got out from the last class of the day and Ying hadn't eat anything since lunch, if Raizel wanted her to supervise a duel at least she could have brought some snacks! "Fiiiine!" She ended up in agreement, although she hoped they would be both ready to be with a hungry Ying in the same enclosed space.
Ying followed her friend until they finally arrived to the Duelling Club. "So..." Ying said looking around trying to spot who would be facing Rai, "Who's the poor soul this time?" She asked half joking and with half sarcasm. And that's when he entered, a boy slightly taller then her, dark hair, and...slytherin! Obviously! "Hey!" Ying greeted back at him.
Was he blind or something? Or was he making it on purpose? Ying raised her hand and waved it slightly to get his attention, clearing her throat like stating she wasn't liking his attitude, "Better you don't kick no ones arse, unless you don't know how to use your wand in a duel!" She replied. Yes, hungry Ying is a grumpy Fang, and usually that means things have a slightly too much sharp meaning and attitude. Sweet Ying would appear again when sugar would find its way to her system. "Now, lets start this or should we continue exchanging nonsense?" She asked in her awful mood, "At your positions!" She said commanded waiting for them to face each other at their right sides of the duelling stage.
