HISTORY.
The Selwyns were an odd bunch, but good-natured at their core. A long line of Gryffindors, that much was as obvious as ever. Raised in the care of both Saorise and Charlie Selwyn, the endless amount of love poured into her birth on that blessed winter solstice could not be doubted for a second. And as lavishly supplied as the Selwyns were, despite their regal and fancy dresses, they never frowned upon their Maeve for being just the way she was. Granted, a sigh could be heard from her mother every now and again when the hair she worked so intricately to tie up only returned to her in a tangled mess from another escapade, but that was what made Maeve.. Maeve. It was her father who really enabled her daunting behavior, taking her along trips and feeding her ever-imaginative mind with wild stories of his own. Tales of his youth, his ventures, his time at Hogwarts. This was a topic Maeve was especially interested in, her heart pining for the day she got her very own letter. Each day like clockwork, she waited by the large window that their owl traveled in and out of. And while for the longest time it brought her nothing of true importance, one day.. it did.
FEATURES (noun.)
✦───Appearance.
For a girl of Maeve's nature, she does not stand differently amongst the other Selwyn women. Golden locks flowing over pale pink skin, with brown doe eyes that seem oddly plain, yet fitting. At age 11, her face is naturally premature. Cheeks slightly chubby despite her thin frame, and features that don't seem to meld together quite yet.│
