Happy Christmas!
It was Dec 17th, a Saturday. But it was not a normal Saturday, it was exactly 2 days before Rita`s 13th birthday, and just a week before the Christmas holiday. The weather was quite cold, since it was already nearly Christmas, and the ground is full of snow. Luckily, it was a sunny day, so after putting on warm clothes and a warm hat to keep herself from getting a cold, she decided to take a stroll in the courtyard after breakfast.
When Rita went to the courtyard, a big poster on a tree quickly caught her attention. She walked closer to see what was on the poster, and saw it was a blue poster saying things about a winter party organized by her best friend Lily would take place at 2 pm this afternoon in the ballroom. "So, Lil is going to hold a winter party this afternoon? Sounds like a great idea! I cannot miss it this afternoon! Lil deserves a big hand for drawing such a party and putting on those big posters for everyone to see! Now I cannot wait for the afternoon to come and looking forward to all the food and activities at the party! Longing to see what Lil can come up with!" Rita thought with a smile as she continued to take a stroll that morning.
Afternoon came very soon. After Rita had lunch in the great hall, and took a short nap in her dorm, she found out it was nearly 2 pm. It was time to attend Lil`s winter party in the ball room! She quickly put on her warm clothes, and quickly headed upstairs to the ball room.
When she arrived at the ball room, she found out Lil was already there waiting for others to come, and there were three tables filled with all kinds of veggies, meat, and sweets respectively. "As I expected, Lil has put in a lot of effort in drawing this party, she definitely deserves a raise." Rita thought as she walked up to Lil and waved to her with a smile, "Hi, Lil! How are you doing today? Quite cold with the snow, isn`t it? This is for the winter party, right? By the way, you prepared all those stuff on those big tables yourself? That is so sweet of you!" Since Rita was apparently the first person to arrive at the party, she decided to just take some sweets to satisfy her sweet tooth as she waited for other students to come and join the party. She then took some biscuits from the sweets table, not too much since she already had lunch, and stood somewhere to eat and wait for others to come. As for the snowball fight, she was not that interested, so she chose to not sign up and chose to just stand somewhere and watch.

OPEN FOR INTERACTIONSLarino was sitting in the Slytherin Common Room, when all of a sudden, his older sister Umeko waved a piece of paper in front of him. "Larino-San." She said eagerly, and he looked up to see a blue poster in front of him. "Whatever it is, I'm not going." He sighed. He hadn't done anything but study all year, he knew he wasn't getting out of this one. "Oh yes you are." She had to physically pull him up, with a little help from her friends. They didn't speak Japanese like the two siblings, but they had gotten the gist of what was happening.
Umeko pulled out his green flannel shirt, grey trousers, and navy blue hoodie. "Go and get changed. You're going to this party whether you like it or not." "I'm not going." He repeated, but soon conceded, and took the clothes. He walked up to his dormitory, and got changed. It was his best outfit, and he made sure to move his rock from the pocket in the trousers he was wearing before, to the top pocket in the shirt. He slowly walked back to the common room, secretly feeling a little excited about the whole ordeal, But he wasn't going to let his sister know that.
She took him all the way to the ballroom, which was quite a way from the Slytherin common room. She made sure to wait for him to open the doors, and he had to admit, that the ballroom was stunning. He simply couldn't take in all the detail, but quickly noticed two things: a girl, and a sign up sheet for what seemed to be a snowball fight. Indoors. He smirked, and wrote his name down. The first one to sign up.

Rita was just taking a few biscuits to eat and waiting for others to arrive when she saw the door of the ballroom was opened again and a boy with short straight black hair came into the room. He seemed to be Asian, just like Rita. The boy seemed to be very quiet, just went into the room without speaking anything and then just quietly walked to the desk with the sign-up sheet for the snowball fight and wrote down his name. Lil also seemed to notice her and the boy coming, as she replied to Rita and tried to start a chat with the boy. The young Slytherin girl also asked Rita whether or not to join the snowball fight. Well, Rita was actually quite hesitant to join the snowball fight, while throwing snowballs seem to be an interesting idea, she preferred to have a snowball fight outside, not inside the ballroom. Plus, she was quite tired this Saturday, and she just wanted to stand aside and watch others throwing snowball.
Rita quickly finished her biscuits, then responded to her friend, "Well, thanks for your offer for the snowball fight. I`m actually quite tired today, so I guess I will just stand aside and watch others play. Good luck to everyone participating! Well, one person for now, but I believe the sign-up sheet will be filled soon. By the way, sorry for taking a few of your biscuits, I just cannot resist the snacks, even though I have had my lunch. I guess I will just stand and wait for more person to come starting from now." She continued to stand somewhere in the ballroom and wait for more people to come and join the party.

MENTIONING: @Lily Blaze and @Rita SuHaving just signed up for the Snowball Fight, Larino decided to back away from the signups to try and stop anyone else from feeling like they were being watched. He seemed to have that effect on people, probably because he preferred to watch from afar, not actually talk to them. He liked it that way, even if others didn't.
He walked over to the refreshments, and slowly took a biscuit, the began to silently eat it. He was watching the signups, while trying to look like he wasn't. There was only the three of them still, but he didn't feel like socializing. He wanted to, sure, but always had trouble saying what he wanted to without making a fool of himself. He usually did that by speaking Japanese, which almost nobody but him or his sister spoke, or his family, that he knew of.
Slowly smiling, he reached inside his shirt pocket and pulled out his pebble. It always helped in situations like this, since he knew it probably wouldn't be long until he would have to socialize for once. He then simply stood back, pebble in hand, and waited for a teammate. ReducioLarino walked away from the signups sheet, and decided to wait for someone to join his team so he could introduce himself, while standing back and trying not to look like he was watching.

Damion had decided against going back home for the winter breaks. He thought that he was half-way done with his schooling and he needed to see what activities he was missing when he was back at home. He could always go home some time in the Summer probably. Damion was really happy that he had done things that he wanted not do something that he was told to do.

Sighing happily, he walked to the ballroom. Sometimes his mind would think things that he was sure that he was not supposed to think. What if Kim walked here? He would totally be happy if Kim did decide to come here. Well this snowball fight would be interesting. That was for sure.
Damion walked into the Ballroom and glanced at the Sign up Sheet that was there. A snowball fight. Sounds great! He walked to the sign up sheet and signed his name. He wouldn't mind a snowball fight. He was happy that he had decided to stay over. He didn't want to miss out on the school life.
Damion put the quill down and glanced around the room. Trying to find Kim if he was there. He didn't know whether Kim would be there or not. But either this was going to be fun. He took a corner and stood there looking at the people around. He didn't know much people around but he was happy to know them. He wouldn't mind interacting with people.

December 17th, a week before Christmas... approximately 8 days? Probably. I had changed my mind about staying at Hogwarts for Christmas at the last second, so I was gonna make the rest of my time here worthwhile. I had seen a poster in the courtyard about a Christmas party! I recognized the name, Lily Blaze, a Slytherin 1st year who was acquainted with. There was absolutely no way I was passing up an opportunity like this. I rushed back into the castle and found the ballroom, after some trial and error. I entered, and the place looked spellbinding. It was absolutely wonderful! All the nice decorations made me feel underdressed in my Christmas sweater, sweatpants, and fuzzy Christmas socks(no shoes!). There were a few people, most of them I recognized. There was Rita, Lily, and Damion from the debate club. There was also one kid I didn't recognize, probably a lower year. I waved to everyone. "Hi everyone! Am I late for the party?" I might have been late by a few minutes, but I didn't want to miss out on anything important. I looked around and spotted a snowball fight sign-up...I grinned mischievously and rushed over to sign up. This was gonna be fun...

Normally, he wouldn't go around, conversing with people he didn't know, but now things were different. After having a failed attempt at socialising only a moment before, somehow he still gathered up the courage to go and introduce himself to this other boy. He needed to know who his teammate was anyway. Hopefully he'd have better accuracy than Larino, since anything related to actually being good at magic wasn't his forte.
He started to walk over to the corner, where the boy was stood. He had brown hair, and was significantly taller than Larino, so must have been in an older year. Larino liked to look down on people and make them feel short, even though he wasn't exactly tall. Only a couple of inches above average, but it still meant that he had a height advantage over others his age. It was only when he reached the corner, he started to devise a plan on how he was going to introduce himself.

Happy Christmas!
Damion had just signed up for the snowball fight. He was excited for it to say the least. He wanted to do something that was not all goody too shoes type of thing. Well he had some enemies now and he was not all goody to shoes boy anymore. He sort of not liked that but he needed to get out of his comfort zone and do things that were something his friends didn't see him doing.

His attention was drawn to @Lily Balze. He waved back to her as he heard her welcome him to the party. "Hello Lily! Thank you for the warm welcome" He said smiling.
He looked at @Aurora Griffith whom he knew from the debate club and also saw @Rita Su. he was happy that there some people he knew. He waved to them and smiled.
Damion looked at the boy who approached him and smiled at @Larino Arveli. "Hello Larino. I am Damion White. I am guessing we might be in a team." He said. He stretched his hand for Larino to shake. He was hoping that he would find people that he knew here and well if that was not the case then he wouldn't mind meeting new people here.
Damion was happy that he was getting along with people that he knew or had come to know in the time he had spent here. He wanted to have a group of friends and well with friends came enemies... That was how life was.
