André looked at his shopping list, his father looming over his shoulder. "what else is needed son?" he asked, Russian accent coming through a bit. "If you give me a moment I will tell you papa" he responded. He was keeping good track of what all he had and needed, he had his wand, robes, next on the list looked to be books. "We need books" they may have been shopping early but they wanted to make sure they would get all the stuff they needed, without much wait.

His father looked around at the shops, André's dad hardly came here to shop. When he did his was with his mother she was off helping Daria for the new school year. "We look at the shop with all the books" André rolled his eyes and flowed. Kinda obvious to go there, but his dad knew what he was doing mostly.

Entering the shop André was Immediately taken a back by the sheer amount of books. "You need any help looking?" His dad asked. André looked at his dad and shook his head, "pfft like I would need help." A lie; but he wanted to do it by himself.

His dad nodded knowing what his son was like and went to sit down. 'ok now to shop' André looked at the list in his hands, all if these books...

The first thing Ash needed to buy are the textbooks for her school, well...not just any normal school but a magical school called Hogwarts. When she arrived in Diagon Alley with her stepdad, she felt like she time traveled to a medieval town. Everything was still very surreal and a bit overwhelming to her, but in a good way, of course.

"Welcome to Diagon Alley, Ash! This place is one of the most well-known shopping areas in the wizarding world, where Hogwarts students buy their school supplies here. So...what do you want to buy first?", Her stepdad asked with a big happy grin on his face. Ash noticed that he seemed to be even more excited than her during their travel to Diagon Alley. Maybe it was because he finally got the chance to go shopping with his stepdaughter in the wizarding world for the first time in his life. It was also the first time for her to go shopping with a father figure. Ash would definitely write this in her diary in order to not forget this day as one of her most treasured memories.

"I would like to buy the textbooks, first." Ash replied with a smile. "Ah, Flourish and Blott it is. Follow me, I'll show you where the book store is."

Flourish and Blott, that's a funny name for a book store. Ash thought to herself.

It only took about 10 minutes for them to arrive at Flourish and Blott. Ash saw there were a lot of people coming in and out of the wizarding book store, and most of them were children with parents. "Excuse me, sorry-", both Ash and her stepdad had no choice but to squeeze their way in. And once they successfully entered the book store, Ash could already smell the scent of old books. "Wow..", despite the book store not being really large, it was still fascinating to see so many books inside. There were even books floating or flying around like birds. A gentle pat on the shoulder made her looked up at her stepdad, "Do you want to find the books yourself or should we find them together?", Ash thought for a while and made her decision. "I think finding the books myself will be fun." Hearing his stepdaughter's answer, her stepdad nodded, "Alright then, if you need any help, just come find me. I'll wait for you here." He pointed at the armchair that was right beside him.

"Ok, let's see... Book of Spells...", Ash walked while looking at her supply list and mumbled to herself the first book she needed to find. She didn't pay attention that there was a boy in front of her and accidentally bumped into him. "Ouch!? My nose!", Ash let out a small groan and rubbing her nose, trying to ease the pain. She then realized that she just bumped into someone and quickly apologized, "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you!"

OOC note: I apologize for the very belated reply! Had a lot of work to do IRL, but now I finally have the time and motivation to RP again.

He looked at the list, what book to start with? There were so many to get. Magical drafts and potions this would be the first one he decided too hunt for. He had no clue were to start looking though.

He looked at the books in front of him to see if anything was on his list he didn't even care if it wasn't the potions book. He saw one that may have been one he needed, but he couldn't be sure. He grabbed it off the shelf and was comparing the title to his list of things on his list, "Darn..." he muttered under his breath, not one he needed. That was when he felt someone run into his back! Based on the words that came after it sounded like they ran nose first to!

Forgetting about the book André quickly turned around. "Hey are you alright? " He asked the person, who he now realized to be a girl. She apologized for bumping into him, "Its fine! Anyone could run into someone with how busy it is." He joked. "I'm André Lebedev. This is going to be my first year at hogwarts, how about you?" He asked with a smile.

When Ash was able to take a good look at the person in front of her, it was a boy with dark hair who seemed to be about the same age as her. She could still feel her cheek heating up from embarrassment, but she tried to force herself to smile in order to hide it. Ash thought he would get angry of her clumsiness, and was prepared for the scolding. However, that didn't happen, the boy instead just asked her politely if she was ok. "O-Oh, I'm ok, thanks...", Ash replied sheepishly, it was a little unexpected but not a bad thing. She even giggled a little when the boy joked about how everyone could run into someone when they were busy, which was something she could agree on.

The boy introduced himself and told her that his name was André Lebedev and, surprisingly (or maybe not), that he would be a first year student just like her. "Hi André, my name is Ashleigh Hazelwood, you can just call me Ash if you like. I'm a first year, too. So...here I am, looking for books I need for Hogwarts, hehe..."

Suddenly, Ash had an idea, but unsure if André would agree to it. "Since we both are going to be first year students, meaning we're looking for the same textbooks, would it be fine with you if we can go look for those books together?" she asked and waited for the young boy to answer. Maybe she was a bit too bold for asking this kind of question?
