Climbing A Mountain
Edward loved the library he liked how their was a vast array of movies of all genres, and it was all cramped into one small book, and plus it was free! He had been so bored not being able to watch Television, he did absolutely love his cinema. Edward had been thinking what his next adventure could be, he pondered it all night which took a toll showing off some pinkness underneath his eyes. It hadn't taken long to go from the Huff puff common rooms all the way to the Library... Well to him it was a piece of cake as he deemed himself quite fit even though he was quite lean and tall. Recently he had taken interest in traveling... Well maybe it had to do something with the Bear Grylls book he had just read the day prior, he wanted to climb a freezing ice-cap mountain and place a flag on top. An explorer of a mountain climber, Edward went to the back of the library in order to not disturb the people and students here who actually were here to read, unlike Edward. Honestly, Edward enjoyed most of his reading in the comfort of his bed, he didn't know why but he just liked it best that way.... He would have done this outside but the sad truth was, there was nothing outside to climb... Well nothing interesting at least! Once he got to the corner of the library he got to work on stacking up books, one, two, three, four, five-six, seven-eight-nine, ten-eleven-twelve, and Oh wait! Someone sitting at a table not too far from him caught his eyes, a girl with dark hairs and eyes like the deep sea foam green/blue. He smiled largely revealing the gap between his two large front teeth, strange yet charming. It was the girl he had met on the Hogwarts Express, he was pretending to be an investigator and she had asked to sit in his compartment with him, they were total opposites yet they were so similar at the same time. How could that happen?

"Hey Bea!" He waved over at her whisper yelling, "It's me Edward! Remember? From the train?"
Frankly, Edward wasn't sure she would even recognize him considering the last time they saw each other, Edward's brunette hair had draped down to his shoulders and he wore a top-hat, now his hair had just received a fresh cut and he was wearing his pilot helmet... It was the closest he had to the actually climbing equipment.... He wondered how she had been...

Climbing A Mountain
Beatrice was sitting in the Library, her head laying on the table. She was tired, to say the least. Classes and Assignments had taken a toll on her, which was partly her own fault. She wanted to be best in every subject but surprisingly there were a lot of people that were really good. She spend most of her days studying anywhere she could. Today she had chosen the library.
Her parents had sent her several letters about how she didn't get all O's but instead had a few E's in there and an A. Having enough of the studying, Beatrice lifted her head, a mess of hair falling into her face. She tied it up in annoyance, not noticing what was happening in a corner a little further away from her. Then her name was called, well a version of it. Who called her Bea? She looked around the library before spotting the boy she had met on the train. His name was Edward Edwards and he got sorted into Hufflepuff, which was fitting. He had a large smile on his face, reveling the gap between his two front teeth.
"It's me Edward! Remember? From the train?" he whisper yelled in her direction. She blinked a few times, taking notice of his now short hair and some helmet on his head. Last time he had been wearing a top-hat. For some reason he was stacking books on top of each other.
»Uhm hi.« she said loud enough for him to hear but still quiet. She looked him up an down and tried an awkward smile. »What are you doing? How have you been?« she asked, standing up and abandoning her belongings. Her Slytherin sweater was still hanging over the back of the chair since she had taken if off a few hours ago. She was now wearing a white t-shirt and cargo pants with her usual white converse. Some of the only muggle brands her parents let her wear.
Beatrice stopped beside Edward, scanning the books he had stacked on top of each other with her eyes. Was he going to read all of these? She looked back up at him, awaiting an answer.@Edward Edwards

"I've been great! How about you?" He smiled quietly continuing to stack the books as she came over to stand beside him with a questioning look. "I'm getting ready for an adventure! Here-" He said handing her some books with a large stupid grin. "-Help me out would you?"
He also awaited her answer to his previous question, he wondered what her adventures had been so far in this vast castle. Edward regretted not running into her sooner, Edward observed the girl for a second, her dark hair was tied up into a ponytail and she wore a white t-shirt, cargo pants, and white converses.
"I like your shoes!" Edward smiled sweetly at her, he liked converses they looked cool, but Edward only wore large black combat boots, as he did now... What could he say? He liked being prepared. He turned to look at Beatrice, he had a very serious, important question to ask, and there was no backing out.
"You want to join the adventure? If you accept you can't go back!" He whispered sticking out his hand to Beatrice, it was the moment of truth.... The moment that would change their lives forever.

"I've been great! How about you?" Edward asked, smiling as he continued stacking books on top of each other. She stood up abandoning her belongings to see what the strange boy was doing. Her Slytherin sweater was still hanging over the back of the chair since she had taken if off a few hours ago. She was now wearing a white t-shirt and cargo pants with her usual white converse. Some of the only muggle brands her parents let her wear. She stopped beside Edward, scanning the books he had stacked on top of each other with her eyes. Was he going to read all of these? She looked back up at him, realizing she had to answer him. She was about to start talking when Edward suddenly told her something about an adventure.
"I'm getting ready for an adventure! Here-" He said handing her some books with a large stupid grin. "-Help me out would you?" she took a book, stacking it on top of the others.
»Uh, I've been okay, thanks.« she smiled. »So, are you just stacking up any kind of books or are you searching for specific ones? Also what exactly are you trying to do here? You're not gonna read them all, are you? I'm pretty sure you can't take 'em all.« She stopped herself from talking, realizing that a lot of words had just left her mouth. Beatrice felt his gaze on her, observing what she was wearing?
"I like your shoes!" he suddenly said, smiling as Beatrice got up on her tippy toes to grab a few books from a higher shelves. »Oh, thanks!« she was surprised he complimented her shoes when he was wearing those large black combat boots. They looked like the ones she read about in a zombie apocalypse book, Beatrice liked them. They somehow fit him very well.
"You want to join the adventure? If you accept you can't go back!" Edward lowered his voice, whispering and sticking out his hand in her direction. She stopped in her tracks looking down at it for a few seconds.
»Uhm, okay? Sure?« Beatrice's voice was rather unsure but she smiled her most beautiful smile when her cold hand met his. She shook it lightly, making sure to still have a little bit of grip, showing she wasn't weak. »So, what's your Adventure?« she whispered in a curious secretive voice. The smile was still on her lips, growing and actually showing her perfect white teeth. Usually she would have never agreed to such a childish sounding thing, but she wanted to feel like a child for once. She wanted to be able to be reckless and let no other person stop her from doing something other than being the perfect golden child.464 words@Edward Edwards

"I don't plan to," Edward smiled mischievously.
He wondered what her adventures had been so far in this vast castle.
"Oh, thanks!" Beatrice said with a smile as she reached out on her tip-toes to grab a book from a higher shelf, Edward just stood on the table to grab what he couldn't reach.
He turned to look at Beatrice, he had a very serious, important question to ask, and there was no backing out.
"You want to join the adventure? If you accept you can't go back!" He whispered sticking out his hand to Beatrice, it was the moment of truth.... The moment that would change their lives forever.
"Uhm, okay? Sure?" Beatrice said in an unsure voice, she looked a little off-put. She let out a beautiful smile as her cold hand met his, she shook with a bit of grip, Edward knew that she would be great for the adventure then! Unlike his "small-gap between his two large front teeth" strange yet charming smile, she had a "perfect white model-like teeth" beautiful and elegant smile. Edward liked how different they were in a lot of ways. What was the fun in being the same?
"So, what's your Adventure?" She whispered in a curious secretive voice, a smile growing only larger on her face.
"We're going to climb a mountain," Edward said stacking the last book, matching the tone of her voice. He jumped up on the table quickly holding out his hand to help her up, he doubted that she needed it but his Mother had taught him good manners. It was then realized that he had been stacking the books like a staircase as he carefully stepped up onto them, his balance and weight challenging him. But yet through all of it a goofy grin was plastered across his face. He then looked over at Beatrice to see how she was getting along. He knew there was a chance they would be discovered and get in trouble, but all adventures came with risks!

"We're going to climb a mountain," Edward said in the same tone she had asked him. Beatrice furrowed her eyebrows. Edward stacked the last book and suddenly jumped up onto the table close to them. Her eyes widened as she watched him holding out his hand.
»Edward, what are you doing?« she whispered, staring at his hand. She looked around to see if anyone was watching, then she took his hand and took one large step to get up next to him. »Are you going to climb the books? What if you fall and get hurt? Or the books break?!« she was still whispering, squeezing his hand with her cold one and staring at him in horror. When Beatrice realized she was still holding onto him, she immediately let go and took a step back, almost stumbling off the table. She stared at the books as he carefully took a step. Her eyes widened, only now realizing that they had been stacking the books like a staircase. From the side, she could see a goofy smile plastered across Edwards face, which made her smile slightly. The concern immediately took over again when he looked back at her.
»We are going to get in trouble for this.« Beatrice said in disbelief what she was about to do. She stepped forward, her foot meeting the books, then her other foot getting on it as well. She held her arms out to both sides, the books under her shaking dangerously. Beatrice closed her eyes, trying to imagine climbing an actual mountain. That would be nice, right? Well this wasn't like climbing a mountain. It was shaky and Beatrice was barely able to put both her feet on one book.
»Oh Merlin, Oh Merlin, Oh Merlin, is this really a good Idea?« she took another step and another one. »Bloody hell.« Beatrice felt extremely unsure about this and quite anxious as well. »Eddie, what if we get caught?« her voice reflected the anxiety she was feeling as Beatrice took another step. She was now right behind Edward. »I really really really really think we should get down.« she put extra empathize into the really's, grabbing Edwards hand to make clear that she didn't think this was going to go well. The books under them shook dangerously.@Edward Edwards

"Edward, what are you doing?" She whispered, staring at his hand. She looked around to see if anyone was warily, before taking his hand, he helped her up so that she now standing next to him. "Are you going to climb the books? What if you fall and get hurt? Or the books break?!"
Edward only shrugged in response, Beatrice was squeezing his hand with anxiety but once she realized she was doing so she immediately let go of his hand. It was then realized that he had been stacking the books like a staircase as he carefully stepped up onto them, his balance and weight challenging him. But yet through all of it a goofy grin was plastered across his face. He then looked over at Beatrice to see how she was getting along.
'We are going to get in trouble for this," She said as she looked at the tower of books.
He knew there was a chance they would be discovered and get in trouble, but all adventures came with risks!
"Every adventure has risks!" He smiled before taking his next two steps. Edward looked behind him to see how Beatrice was doing behind him, her arms were out like an airplane as she shook from the unstable steps of books underneath her.
"Oh Merlin, Oh Merlin, Oh Merlin, is this really a good Idea?" She asked nervously.
"Is it a bad idea?" Edward said taking him next steps, he bent forwards and backwards for a split second fighting to keep his balance, success! He took his next step.
"Bloody hell," Edward heard Beatrice say behind him, Edward laughed.
"This is a very rigourous mountain! But I hear once you get to the top it's smooth sailing!" He smiled placing a hand down on the books to keep his balance.
"Eddie, what if we get caught?" Beatrice asked still unsure. "I really really really really think we should get down..."
She put extra empathize into the really's, grabbing Edwards hand to make clear that she didn't think this was going to go well. The books under them shook dangerously.
"Then Bea, we get caught, no backing out of the adventure though! If worst comes to worst I'll take the blame, I wouldn't have invited you to the adventure if I didn't think you were capable of it, But I know you are Bea!" He said taking a couple more steps, he could see the main goal up ahead they were so close to the top. "We're close!"
They continues to step carefully, Edward accidentally knocked one of the books of but luckily for them it was only off the top step. Yes the top step. Edward smiled as he set his feet down on the last book.
"We have to get past the trench and we will finally be there!" He looed back to look at Beatrice. "You ready Bea?"
It turns out the gap was the space between the top of the staircase of books and the top of the books shelves. Edward was fearless of the whole ordeal as he waited for her answer.[/quote]

"Every adventure has risks!" Edward said and Beatrice could make out his smile as he took his next steps. That was better said than done, Beatrice never got in trouble. Well of course she sometimes got in trouble with her parents but only because they always think she's doing something wrong. Whenever she does something they always have to say something about it. However, she has never gotten in trouble at Hogwarts. Never.
»Oh Merlin, Oh Merlin, Oh Merlin, is this really a good Idea?« she took another step and another one, dreading the fall as she got higher and higher.
"Is it a bad idea?" Edward said as Beatrice watched him bending back and forth to keep his balance, the books under them were still shaking like crazy. This was worse than flying on a broom. A lot worse. »Bloody hell.« Beatrice felt extremely unsure about this and quite anxious as well. She heard Edward laughing at her words, usually Beatrice never cursed, she would have gotten in big trouble if her parents would hear those words come out of her mouth.
"This is a very rigourous mountain! But I hear once you get to the top it's smooth sailing!" Edward smiled again, or perhaps he was still smiling? He probably had this smile on the whole time. Edward must think this is funny while I'm dreading the fall, or worse, the punishment. The boy in front of her was placing a hand down on the books to keep his balance.
»Eddie, what if we get caught?« her voice reflected the anxiety she was feeling as Beatrice took another step. She was now almost right behind Edward. »I really really really really think we should get down.« she put extra empathize into the really's, grabbing Edwards hand to make clear that she didn't think this was going to go well. The books under them shook dangerously.
"Then Bea, we get caught, no backing out of the adventure though! If worst comes to worst I'll take the blame, I wouldn't have invited you to the adventure if I didn't think you were capable of it, But I know you are Bea!" She let go off him again, her legs shaking with the books. Beatrice couldn't help but smile at the nickname 'Bea'. No one other than her siblings called her by a nickname, everyone always called her Beatrice, it was very rare that anyone used her middle name. Only one person ever did that. Edward took a few more steps and Beatrice came after him, careful to not step into the air. She felt very bad about standing on books. Good, perfect books that were now used as stairs. This was most likely a violation of her love for books and definitely not welcome from anyone that liked books as much as her.
We're close!" she heard Edward say as both of them continued to take steps. Beatrices foot almost slipped down on one of the sides, she felt her body bend in all possible direction, sticking her arm out once again. Beatrice watched in horror as one of the books got knocked down and fell to the ground. She had a painful expression on her face, scared the book was now broken. Edward took another step, and so did Beatrice. She could see almost the whole library, how had no one noticed what the two first years were doing yet?
"We have to get past the trench and we will finally be there!" Edward looked back at Beatrice and she locked eyes with him, getting her gaze away from the book on the ground and the rest of the library. Perhaps this was a mistake, how would they get down without falling."You ready Bea?" Edwards voice sounded adventures. She stared at him, feeling like they were at the highpoint of a mountain, feeling free like a character in a book when they had arrived to their final destination. But she knew that when this happened in the book, something dangerous was close.
»Ready if you are.« she said, straightening her back and taking the last step behind Edward. She looked down in front of him. Beatrice saw the gap between the bookshelves and the books they were standing on. Wasn't too hard to get to the other side, right? Nothing should go wrong, right?
Well, only trying would show if the two get to the other side, perhaps the books will fall.. and with them, the two first years - getting buried under books. It would show in a few seconds.@Edward Edwards

She put extra empathize into the really's, grabbing Edwards hand to make clear that she didn't think this was going to go well. The books under them shook dangerously.

It turns out the gap was the space between the top of the staircase of books and the top of the books shelves. Edward was fearless of the whole ordeal as he waited for her answer.
"Ready if you are," Beatrice said straightening her back, emphasizing her statement. Edward smiled in return.
"Try to keep up!" He teased her, like only true friends do. That's how you know someone's your true friend, no matter what you say or do or how many mistakes you make you always stay together. Edward tool one deep breath to prepare for what would happen next, he knew he couldn't jump it, it would cause the books to collapse and if they jumped onto the bookshelves it would cause it to fall over. They would have to take a less rigorous approach to the whole ordeal. Edward put one of his legs forward onto the top of the bookshelf, leaning his weight into it so that he was now in a lounge position. He placed his hands on both sides of his foot that stood planted on the top of the shelf, he then retracted his foot to meet the other, successfully putting him on top of the bookshelf! Edward smiled at his victory, thank goodness for all that yoga he did with his mom! But when her work hours became longer, the time of yoga with his mom decreased. There was a small flash of sadness in Edward's eyes as he went into sitting position and turned to look at all the books, not even one was disturbed. He smiled his goofy smile.
"Now just do what I did!" Edward stated quietly, because they were in a library. Though what Edward said to do was definitely easier said than done. He then went into silence as to watch Beatrice he didn't want to throw her off focus from the mission ahead of her. One thing was certain though, Edward was rooting for her every step of the way!

It would show in a few seconds. Edward smiled at Beatrice and she felt a sudden comfort coming from him.
"Try to keep up!" he teased her, making Beatrice grin. She watched as Edward took a deep breath, debating what he would do now. There were several possibilities but not all would work. If he jumped, he'd most likely tip over the bookshelves or the books Beatrice was standing on. She wasn't particularly keen on falling so hopefully he would choose a different method. Her eyes widened as he put one foot onto the bookshelf. He got down, almost on his knees and placed his hands on the books and the bookshelf opposite to the two friends. Beatrice cursed under her breath as she felt the books shaking dangerously beneath the two. He placed his other foot on the shelf as well. Beatrice felt like she was holding her breath throughout the whole process and perhaps she really was.
Edward turned around with a smile but there was a small flash of sadness in his eyes. Beatrice frowned, examining the boys face closer. She was about to ask if he was okay but as she opened her mouth to talk, Edward already started saying something.
"Now just do what I did!" Edwards voice was quiet and he fell silent after those words. »Don't you dare let me fall if I slip Edward Edwards. Can't risk breaking any of these books by taking 'em down with me.« Beatrice said just as quietly, a grin on her face, before taking the next step onto the last book. She took a deep breath, looking at Edward and back at the gap. Then she placed her right foot on the bookshelf, shaking slightly.
»Oh Bloody hell.« Beatrice muttered under her breath, placing both her hands on the bookshelf. She was gripping onto it like it depended on her live. When she got enough courage, Beatrice pushed herself off the books. It was gently enough to not let any books fall but hard enough to let her get to the other side. She landed on her knees, feeling the Bookshelf shake ever so slightly. A smile appeared on her face as she turned around and sat down next to Edward.
»Didn't think I was gonna get here without falling.« she said with a smile, looking at Edward. She felt herself taking a breath, feeling as if it was her first breath in ages. Then her features went to serious again. »Are you okay Eddie?« her voice was genuine, a gentle smile on her lips and concern in her eyes.@Edward Edwards
