How are you??? I hope your trip back to America was safe after camp, and that you are finding the new school term fun and eventful. I'm writing this in my room instead of going to class. The view from the windows is nice in a harsh kind of way - it's all frozen lakes and icy trees. The sunsets and sunrises are so beautiful here, and one day I hope you'll come see them.
I'm sorry that it took a while for me to get this letter written! With all the fuss of a new school year coming and new first years to terrorise welcome, I just haven't had much time to get a letter out. I really hope that it won't take forever to get to you.
Anyway, I'm hardly a poet obviously, but I would really love to exchange letters with you. You seem really cool and like someone I'd totally want to get to know better. What do you think?

What a pleasant surprise. I'm well. A smooth ride back to Ilvermorny, yas. It's only been a few weeks since the summer camp at Hogwarts, is it weird to say that you've been on my mind? I trust that there weren't any problems for you to get back to Northern Europe. I would love to visit the very north of Europe, one day perhaps. The view here is great but far too vibrant with the lush of green than the serene cold snow.
I would love to get to know you better, it is a great idea. I apologise that we did not have much time at camp to talk, I'm even a little bummed that fate did not have it for us in the game of spin the bottle. I can't help but ask if you knew any of those guys? Anyway, it is great to hear from you again... even if it is just words on paper and a great ocean apart. You have very pretty handwriting.
I'll start, where did you learn how to do all those tricks on the broom? Though I do hope you are being more careful now that I'm not that to catch you from a fall.
