Animals: Hyunjin is allergic to cat's fur.

Aesthetics: Originally it was green and blue because I designed Kim to be in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. He was supposed to belong to Ravenclaw but feel so much pressure to please and honor his father that he ended up in Slytherin, doing all the same things his father did to follow in his footsteps and make a name for himself in his father's House. If he got into Ravenclaw, I had a whole backstory and goal planned out to have Kim excel where he truly belonged, proving that a House does not make a difference. Plus, since he's obsessed with being perfect/perfection, is very intelligent and reads a ton of books and has a lot of knowledge and everything that a true Ravenclaw should possess, it would make perfect sense for him to be either in Slytherin or in Ravenclaw.

However, when Kim got into Gryffindor, I had to rewrite the history and change things around as his current goal would not make sense. And it wouldn't fit with what I had planned. So I re-wrote his parents and Kim's own personality and background too, so it would fit with him being sorted into Gryffindor. That's why I don't like not knowing what House I'm in before I start creating a character because if I'm attached to how I want my character to be and I get something else that changes him fundamentally then it's disappointing and aggravating. It's not a question of just 'wanting to be in a different House'. If I'd known I would be in Gryffindor in the first place, I'd have created a background, history and personality that fit the House. Or at least would make it make sense.

The Sorting Hat is supposed to 'take your opinions and feelings into mind' according to lore. So even if I hadn't ended up in the House I really wanted, I should have at least had the choice to eliminate 1 House that I knew wouldn't fit with the character. That way it's still up to the Sorting Hat but it also takes your feelings into account too, just like the lore says. But it doesn't matter now, what's done is done. But since this is supposed to reveal your motivation and inspiration as to how you created your character, I thought I'd relate this. As this was a big part of how I got the Kim we have today. The original Kim I'd planned out does not exist now. The current Kim came about because of all that I related happened during his creation. A lot of people like him the way he is right now.

But that's just because they don't know what it would have been like if they'd met the Ravenclaw or Slytherin Kim. XD A change of background and a change of personality makes all the difference in the world. I'm kind of curious as to how things would have turned out if I'd gotten into Ravenclaw or Slytherin but we'll never know. Not with Kim at least. For the current Kim, the one you all know, the colors that represent him are green and red, symbolizing his father and mother respectively. Of course, Kim's favorite two colors are blue and black but he says they are green and red to appease his parents. Han Jisung from SKZ is one of Kim's cousins, whose name is Rei.

Rei's best friend is Lee Know from SKZ. Changbin and I.N. from SKZ are their other friends and they all hang out together a lot of the time. They are friendly with Kim too, whenever they are able to see him.

Hiro Bakugo
Real People: Felix "Yongbok" Lee from Stray Kids (SKZ).
Personality Traits: Oddly enough, I based him off kdrama and anime characters of people who put up a friendly and carefree front towards others but are hiding deep, personal secrets within. But he has a few splashes of Felix's personality in there too. I do like how he turned out and he is fun to play with others.
Animals: He loves all types of animals, much like Felix loves all types of animals.

Aesthetics: Hiro loves all sorts of colors, usually bright ones to cover up how he feels inside. But he's also drawn to the dark colors too. He's like a 2-toned type of person, one side is dark and one side is light. Both are always fighting for dominance inside him. Thus why he chose his nickname for quidditch to be Tone. Chan and Seungmin from SKZ are his two best friends from childhood. Oddly enough, Chan actually happens to know Rei (Han) and Rei's friends (Lee Know, Changbin and I.N.). But Hiro and Kim aren't aware of this.

Name Origins: Xailah is a misspelling of my name from back when I used to roleplay on LotRo, and it just stuck. Alptraum is the German word for Nightmare. Xailah originally never had a last name but when I was making a BDO (black desert online) account, the game asks for a family name to apply to all your characters. So in a panic I chose Alptraum (because I'm an edgelord I don't know). Again that stuck too. BUT it has become such an essential part of her original story. In her original setting she is an eldritch abomination (they're called cryptids in that world), and her ancestors used to terrorize a little German village. They would give the villagers nightmares whenever they were nearby, and as a result the people started calling the creatures "Alptraum". Eventually the Alptraums became sentient and started learning from the people they were watching, and became entities of their own and adopted Alptraum as a surname.

In this setting, it's similar, only just a bunch of misfits and criminals doing the terrorizing and taking the name since it sounded cool. Xailah also has a middle name which I have yet to reveal on this site, but it's probably pretty easy to figure out (hint: it's the title of a song, and it's quoted literally everywhere in her ency).

She'll just tell you that she came in the year of the cat.
