Tipping The Scales
It was his last stop before the one he'd been most excited for... Ollivanders! With Alina already out of the picture - after all, she'd been quick to rush back to the Leaky Cauldron after their visit to the menagerie - everything had once again begun to feel magical. Not that he minded his sister's company, but she was being something of a downer this trip.
"Okay," his mother was saying, as they stepped across the threshold and into Potage's, "So you need to find yourself a size 2 tin cauldron, some copper scales, and..."
Sebastian became slightly distracted by the glass phials his mother was simultaneously talking about. They caught the sunlight which peeked into the shop, and cast wonderful gilded shadows across the wall. Amidst those shadows were bright spots and rainbows.
"Oh, I see you already found the other thing."
He turned his head and beamed a grin her way. "Remember when Tobin and I would make flower potions in the garden?" he reminisced, "Oh, I'd have killed for a set of these to bottle it into..." Fake potions, of course, created by young children with overactive imaginations.
As much as he enjoyed those memories, it brought to his face a slight frown.
"Say... Do you think we could get a set for him? I uh... I know he doesn't really make potions anymore, but... I think maybe he'd like them all the same." Sebastian couldn't help himself, he had a real soft spot where his older brother was concerned. To see the two siblings closest in age to him whisked off on magical adventures couldn't have been easy.
"I just... Want him to know I'm thinking of him..."
His mum smiled, and ruffled a hand through his hair. "Tell you what, you fetch the other things and I'll get two sets wrapped in paper."
Sebastian grinned, and watched as she did precisely that. Now... What else was on that list?

Tipping The Scales
I entered the Potage's Cauldron Shop because I needed some supplies here such as a cauldron, a scale and some phials. Mom and I thought it would be easier to carry our purchase if we already have a cauldron with a handle. So, this is one of our first stop, right after Ollivanders.
The shop was full of useful items in potion, but I had trouble finding exactly what I needed because there were so many pots everywhere.
- I need a standard tin cauldron, size 2. I said as I stared at my mom.
She seemed as confused as I was. I guessed she couldn't help me. We wandered around the store until we found someone who could tell us where to find the supplies from my list. Unfortunately, no employees were around at that time. It seemed we had to find by ourselves.
I saw a shadow passing by. As I approached, I noticed that it was a young boy and his mother. Maybe they already found what I was looking for. Asking the question is the only way I could find it out.
- Hi! I'm sorry but do you know where I can find a size 2 cauldron?
I hope I am not disturbing him. I was so focused on the cauldron that I didn't noticed where he was.
- Oh! you found the glass phials. Mom?
I took a set of phials. That was one less thing on the list.
