With Alina waiting back at the Leaky Cauldron, it was up to the other three present Sorrels to hunt down the last few things remaining on Sebastian's school list. Cauldrons, scales, that sort of thing. Well, they were headed in the direction of Potage's when one shop in particular caught the attention of all three of them.

Dogweed and Deathcap.

It had become something of a beloved shop for the trio. Beric was always seeking fresh ingredients to stock up on which he couldn't so readily acquire out in the Muggle world, and Florence was forever intrigued by what the Wizarding world had to offer in terms of flora. As for Sebastian himself? Well, it was nice to have something in common with his parents, and he was fascinated by it all.

So it only stood to reason that they entered.

Only the trio didn't exactly stay together for very long. Beric wandered off in search of gillyweed and boom berries, and Florence was distracted by the scent of dried rosemary and lavender. Sure they had it at home, but what harm was there in looking?

That left Sebastian by himself. Not that he minded.

There were strange jars on the shelves, and so he took the time to peruse them. Ginko extract, slug repellant, some strange blue liquid that was high up and out of reach. Would he need any of these things for school?

He checked his list again, then mentally shook his head. Nope, he wouldn't need them. Yet as he wandered further and came to some of the gardening tools he couldn't help but wonder if maybe he wanted some of them.

You know... In case he was allowed to do a little growing of his own. Trowels, pruning sheers, gloves, it all seemed so tempting for a boy who had been raised on a homestead.

With the new year at Hogwarts starting Diagon Alley was filled with people, Harmonia couldn't keep the soft smile on her face as she walked through the streets, School list in hand. She had just gotten it the day before and was eager to get started, she was accompanied by her families house elf, Zeekay.

Harmonia was going over the required books when she notice Dogweed and Deathcap. The only time she made potions was during class last year and her mother banned her from making potions at home. "I think it's because she's rubbish with potion and had her potion blow up in her face." her father whispered to her one time.

But this a new year, and she is allow to make potions at Hogwarts. Her smile widening and turned to Zeekay. "Zeekay, I'm going to take a look at Dogwood and Deathcap for a bit. Could you go to Gringotts and get the money we need?"
"Yes, Miss Melodius."
She respond apparating away with a loud snap. Harmonia always cringed at that, she doesn't really like that way of travelling.

Harmonia quickly stepped into the shop, already surprised to see a few other people, they all looked quite alike so most likely family if not siblings. She focus on the one by the gardening tool. He was the youngest there roughly her age, though she doesn't recognize him. She walked over to him, notice he seemed to be deep in thought.
"Excuse me, Are you going to Hogwarts?" She asked.

Was it really worth it to buy some?

Surely mum could spare a set from back home... Only, he wouldn't be going back home would he? A few more days here in London and then he'd be off, boarding the Hogwarts Express and off on a new adventure.

Maybe he could wait until next year, and remember to pack his own then. After all, he was likely going to be very busy this year, settling in and learning the ropes. No doubt there would be a lot of changes in his life, and being that he'd obviously never done intentional magic before it would be a long journey to figuring it all out.

Gardening on top of that? Well maybe it wasn't the best idea.

Oh, but he'd already be missing home. Was there any harm in trying to bring his green thumb to fruition in Scotland?

Sebastian frowned, lost within his own mind. And then he was pulled from his thoughts quite abruptly by a voice at his side.

"Oh, sorry, am I in your wa--- Oh. Hogwarts? Me? Yeah, I mean I will be. First year. What about you?" She looked to maybe be around his age, possibly a little older though he'd never been the best at guessing ages.

He blinked and then realized he'd never actually introduced himself. "I'm Sebastian" he informed her, rather sheepishly, "Um, what about you? What's your name?"

"Yes I'm going to Hogwarts too. My name is Harmonia Melodius, second year Ravenclaw." She replied, taking a glance at the gardening tools. "Are you interested in herbology, or perhaps you wish to grow your own potion ingredients? she said glancing at some of the ingredients nearby before turning backed to him.

"I'm interested in Charms and potion, more charms then anything. I wish to combine my music with spells." she continued picking ingredients for potions from last year, along with others she couldn't grow herself. Such things as rare ingredients or creature parts, still uncomfortable touching dead animal arts but she'll still brew with them.

"What house do you think you'll be in? I thought I could be either Ravenclaw or Slytherin, of course I was placed in Ravenclaw." while she would like him in Ravenclaw it didn't really matter since he was a first year they wouldn't have classes together.

She then started to look over the gardening tools, perhaps she will start a garden. She could get spot in greenhouse or just have a small one on the window sill. "I'm terribly sorry if I have ask you too many questions so soon." she said, she didn't want to overwhelm him.

"Harmonia Melodius?" he reiterated, hoping to set her name to memory and ensure he'd said it correctly, "That's a very musical name... Cool!" Sebastian had always rather enjoyed the more out there names he'd encountered, not that there had been many in his life. Plenty of John's, Luke's, Adam's... His school mates had shouldered rather plain, biblical names.

He supposed his own wasn't all that special, but Tobin and Alina and Rhiannon? Oh they were wonderful names, weren't they?

Sebastian blinked, realizing he'd been in a world of his own, and focused back in on the conversation at hand. "Oh, erm... All of the above. I think..? I'm not really too sure yet, I suppose. I do like plants though. Is it, uh, weird to bring your own gardening tools to Hogwarts..?"

The girl might only have been a Second Year, but that was still one whole year of knowledge ahead of him. Knowledge, and perhaps more importantly in this case experience.

"Music with spells?" he responded, seeming a little dizzied by it all. "I don't know much about that. Dad's a Wizard but uh... He never really told me anything about it."

Keep the surprises, keep the mystery. As such when the next question was uttered he blushed slightly.

"I don't really know, I know the names but uh... I guess I don't understand the, um, significance?" He paused, and chewed his inner lip. "Dad was uh... Gryffindor? And my older sister Alina, she was a Slytherin. Course she just graduated, so I won't get to see her around school."

Rambling... Sebastian was hyper aware of the fact that he was currently rambling, so he took in a slow breath and calmed his racing mind.

"Do you like it? In Ravenclaw, and Hogwarts, I mean?"

"Don't be so critical of yourself, one could say that our names our parent gave us mean something. Mine, I believe, parent though I would be quite talented in music. she said, finishing her look at the tools. If memory serves Sebastian is Greek for venerable or honorable, I would say that is a 'cool' name." she continued hoping she used the muggle slang correctly.

"I wouldn't say it is weird, many of the future potion masters and brewers will most likely grow there own ingredients, so they would need garden tools, plus we have Herbology." She replied holding up four bottled ingredients. "Though I don't think starting eel, leech, or bat at Hogwarts will go well."

Gryffindor and Slytherin, she though looking at the boy for moment. "Well I can explain it for you, such as my house, Ravenclaws are known for curiosity and knowledge, your father's is for bravery and chivalry, your sister's is ambition and determination, and finally Hufflepuff is loyalty and fairness." She explained putting away the bottles. "They do look for more but personally I think you will be a Hufflepuff. Fairness and honorable are pretty similar. I love the Ravenclaw common room it's like a library but the books change and is full of windows for natural light, and Hogwarts is the best place in the world." she said with a smile.
