My question is if you are a first year and didn't finish all the homework for your first year and become a second year, if you do the first year homeworks that you didn't finish yet as a second year, will the professors see your first year homework, even though you are a second year now?

I heard somewhere that you have to manually do something or owl the professor because it might not auto show up? Or was that the allocation of House Points?

I remember hearing something about how something isn't automatic if you do homework a year beneath your current year and you have to owl someone to get your grade or get your House Points?

I don't think autograding is a thing- is it? because I believe I came across someone who finally got graded after several months of waiting for a grade-

You can do homework from a previous year and the professors will receive it, you just will not be awarded any points automatically when they send the grade back. You'll have to owl them with proof for that.

Ahhhh no, this is what I meant.
So you aren't awarded points automatically for a lower homework.
But for your current year homework you are awarded points automatically.

So essentially, you have to owl the professors proof that you got graded and then they manually have to give you House Points yes? And if this is the case, do you wait 12 days after you get graded and then owl them to give you points? Is that how it works? Also, who do you owl for the points?

Also, before you owl, please check if you have already received the corresponding points for your homework. Some professors will manually give you the points directly after grading.
