Platform 9 3/4
Standing between platform 9 and platform 10, holding a cart with her belongings, Rita looked at her ticket, wondering"There are platform 9 and platform 10, but where is the platform 9 3/4? Does it actually exist?" Feeling a little puzzled, Rita looked around, seeing people holding a cart like her passing through the wall between platforms 9 and 10. She thought "Platform 9 3/4 is between platform 9 and platform 10, so passing through that wall must be the right way! Let me try!" Feeling a bit nervous, she tightly held her belongings and passed through the wall. To her joy, the sign "Platform 9 3/4" quickly grabbed her attention.
At the platform, she saw some students waiting anxiously for the train to arrive, some chatting with other students and some quietly reading a book. Rita decided to walk around the platform to find if there were any interesting people to chat with. But everyone was just busy with their staff and did not bother to chat with a plain-looking 11-year-old girl. Feeling somewhat disappointed, she picked up her favorite book to read till the train arrived. It was an intriguing novel and Rita was hooked by the gripping plot till the howling of the train took her back to reality. Fortunately, she did not miss the train.
