Back to Hogwarts.
The end of summer had passed, slowly, far too much for Linh's liking.
Hogwarts... the most prestigious school of magic!
These four houses, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Slytherin.
Linh didn't envy any, and didn't dislike any.
She couldn't wait to find out what her house would be...

For now, she had to say goodbye to her family.
It wouldn't be long...a big hug to his parents and a friendly pat on the shoulder from Tian.
Her big brother seemed just as moved as her parents at her returning to Hogwarts.
He hoped she would go to Ravenclaw, like he had before.
"Good luck, sis," he whispered in his sister's ear.
The young girl boarded the train as it started.
A few wet, salty drops ran down her cheeks.
She cried ?
No, impossible, she must have had dust in her eye.

She turned on her heel and walked away down the narrow, dark, dimly lit hallway, looking for an empty compartment.
She didn't have to look long: first door on the right, free compartment!

Pulling her suitcase and sliding the door, she had a little trouble getting into the compartment.
Then, she sat down on the comfortable armchairs and took out of her sleeve, the now most precious object in her eyes: her magic wand. Chestnut wood and troll mustache.

She put the object on the table and rummaged in her suitcase, looking for something to entertain herself, and pulled out a book.
She leafed through it, then put it back on the table and decided to look at the landscape.
The trees went by, taking him as far as the eye could see from his parents, his big brother, from England...
Weakly, she sighed. She already wanted to be there, at Hogwarts!
He was missing something...why not make his first friend?

Vienna walked slowly down the train, following her cousins as they looked for empty compartments. She looked up at the two older students, the girl, a third year, the boy, a sixth year. "Where do you guys usually sit?" She asked, the slightest hint of annoyance in her tone. Looking for open seats wasn't exactly the most fun. "Haven't you guys been doing this for years or something?"

"Well, yeah," her cousin, Ezra, confirmed as he stopped in front of a compartment. Vienna squeezed through him, trying to get a peek through the window. "Is this it? Is this where you usually sit?" She squinted. Nope, not empty. Full of boys, to make it worse. They all looked older, definitely around Ezra's age.

"Where I usually sit," the boy said, gripping his backpack as he looked through the window. "Look Vi, you're not childish or anything. I'd love to keep you around but, I don't think our conversations are that appropriate," he said, looking back at the group of boys, who seemed to be keeling over in fits of giggles. Ezra smiled a bit, before turning back to Vienna, placing a hand on her shoulder and leaning in to whisper something. "We talk about girls."

Vienna paused. Right. It probably wouldn't be fun hanging out with a bunch of sixteen-year-old guys anyways. She nodded. "It's fine Ez, really," she nodded so quickly her head hurt for a second. She was still pretty pumped up from the adrenaline of actually, finally, getting to Hogwarts. "I mean I still have Gen any-" She turned back, her thirteen-year-old cousin already strolling away with suitcase in hand. "Gen?"

"Yeah, don't go with Gen either. She and her friends are probably worse." Ezra grimaced as he fixed his backpack. "Hey, I'll see you at Hogwarts, alright? And, I'll try to help you as much as I can, even if I can't now. There are plenty of open compartments, and besides, you're a social butterfly, Vi. People flock to you, I didn't have it as easy and I survived," he gave her a reassuring smile. "Hey, don't die, alright?" He winked, opening the compartment door to join his friends.

"Right," Vienna frowned. Social butterfly. Ezra wasn't wrong. She never had trouble making friends. It just felt a little different.

What a dumb thing to be scared about, Vienna thought to herself, scowling as she continued her trek down the train. It took her a while, no, not because she was scared. It was just, nobody looked interesting. This was pretty much her first Hogwarts acquaintance, and whether they became close or not, it was pretty important. She needed somebody worthy.

She had begun lapping back in a last, desperate attempt when she stumbled upon a compartment on the right. It was one of the first ones she had stumbled upon, she had just been too busy following her cousins to notice it. She peeked through. The compartment was pretty much empty except for one girl. She was looking out the window, as if she was admiring the scenery, as a book rested on the table.

Vienna tilted her head. She decided to give her a shot. She opened the compartment door, peeking her head in. "Hi!" She blurted. "Mind if I sit here? Or do you like, need the extra leg room?" She joked, fiddling with the buttons on her sweater.
