Cash avoid crowded places these days. Ever since their mother told them that they are related to one Vivian Fletcher Nightshade, the green eyes' world crumbling down. At this point. Cash should not be dissapointed with their mother. As they grow older, one by one the secret within the Ironwoods - Ramiréz got reveal slowly and the green eyes should known better than be surprise about the fact.

But being cooped up in the castle let alone in their room would not do any good for the third-year Beater. And so after they got the permission to venture more outside the castle, Cash did not waste any second of it. First, they visited the Magical Menagerie to pick up some supplies for their pet, next they walked around Diagon Alley to see what was new that being displayed in each and every store.

Since it is still January and the last snow still falling from the sky, the wind decided to pick up. Cash blow their breath into their hands and rubbed their gloveless hands together to keep it warm. But it seems the friction alone was not enough for them until their feet landed on the front door of the Leaky Cauldron.

The last time they were in this place was when they had their first date with Kara a few days before Christmas two years ago. Remembering the short-haired brunette's name still leaves a pang of hurt in their heart. What happened to their ex-girlfriend was not Cash's fault. But in the back of their mind Cash always have that 'what if' moment every time the young socialite remembered her or in any situation, they were in.

The young Ironwood take a deep breath and gulped down the cold air of January. They blinked their eyes rapidly to make the unshed tears in their eyes go away. Then they blow out their breath and pushed the door open. The establishment was still the same as Cash remember and it hurt the green eyes even more.

Cash is about to turn away but it seems the person that stood behind them pushed them inside impatiently. Cash shot the person their glare but the person did not care about it for one bit. Their green eyes bounced from one person to the next one. Though the cold winter of December passed away slowly, still a lot of people search for the warmth that the place provided.

Just like what the Cuban descendant intended to do. Chairs filled up with people either catching up with their acquaintances, friends or maybe just wanting to relax before they continued their activities. "Just my luck! Why this place is so crowded today?!"They grumbled to themselves but Cash still had some hours left before they need to go back to Hogwarts.

"Alright then! better use that time wisely, "Cash said to themselves while stepping into the room some more. While they walked around the room slowly and looking for an empty chair to seated on, the young socialite almost give up until they saw one last unoccupied chair in front of a table in the far corner. The brunette that seated alone, holding a book that Cash remembers their mother once read.

"Hey,"They greeted the girl politely. "I would not ask you this if there is any other seat that was not being occupied by others, but do you mind if I sit here?"Inquired Cash to the girl that seated across them and holding a book with "The Curse of the Titan" on the front cover of the book.

Victoria jumped slightly at the sound she heard. "Hey, I would not ask you this if there is any other seat that was not being occupied by others, but do you mind if I sit here?"

Victoria nodded in satisfaction, she thought she would avoid being alone. The girl in front of him looked older than herself. "Of course! It's a mistake to even ask!"

Victoria smiled broadly. "This is my first time here, is there anything you can suggest me to drink?" Victoria asked as politely as she could.

Victoria put the book in her hand down on the table and waited for an answer from the girl across from her. She was quite bored and already starting to feel cold in the cold weather, she thought it would be good to have a hot drink.

"What's your name? I'm Victoria, Victoria Honest!" Victoria asked with a small smile. Victoria leaned back and closed her eyes. She kept asking herself why she had come here she, she really wanted to sleep.

Victoria had no intention of being rude, so she started to get angry with herself inside and not outside. She smiled to herself and looked at her again. Her eyes widened at the realizationshe realized. "You're a quidditch player, right? I've seen you, you play pretty well." Victoria muttered.

After the younger girl gave her permission for the green eyes joined her table, Cash pulled the wooden chair across of her. "Thanks,"Cash said after they seated down and took off the long cream colored coat that they wore. Under the coat, revealed a long-sleeved gray sweater that faded in time but still comfortable to wear.

"This is my first time here, is there anything you can suggest me to drink?" Victoria asked politely with a broad smile etched on her lips. "Well, what do you fancy?"Asked the green eyes. "I mean if you are a tea addict, they have selections of teas"They started to explain. "Chamomile, English Breakfast, Peppermint, Jasmine Tea, that sort of things"The Beater uttered.

"If you fancy something hot and sweet, I recommended hot chocolate,"They informed Victoria. "Someone once told me the hot chocolate in here is not that bad"They continued some more. Cash did not delve much further from who they got the information. Saying their name out loud hurt the third-year heart.

"They also served pumpkin juice, if you prefer that,"Cash told the brunette-haired girl with a fond memory still etched into their mind. Cash then raised their right hand to flagged down one of the servers that work in the Leaky Cauldron's Great Hall. "Hi! I am your waiter for today. Would you like anything, miss?"The waiter asked both Cash and Victoria.

Cash feels like they were familiar with the waiter's voice. Cash then looked up and was surprised surprise it was the same waiter that served when Cash and Kara had their date at the establishment. "I know you!"The green eyes exclaimed. "Ditto, dear!"The waiter said. "I was surprised to see you here again after like two years,"The waiter said to Cash.

"How's that lover of yours doing these days?"The waiter questioned the green eyes. "She is uhh.. she was-is great"Cash replied to the waiter with a tinge of sadness in their tone. The good thing was the waiter did not pry some more. "So, your orders?"He asked. "Oh right, right! Can I have an English Breakfast, please?"They stated to the waiter.

The waiter then scribbled on the notepad that he held and asked the same question to Victoria. After Victoria gave her order, the waiter left their table. Cash looked around at the place while waiting for their drink until Victoria's voice entered the Cuban descendant's ears. She asked for Cash's name. "Cassandra. Cassandra Ironwoods, Cash for short"They replied to the first-year.

The young socialite is about to open their mouth to talk about the book that the girl read early on but Victoria beats them to it. "You're a quidditch player, right? I've seen you, you play pretty well"She expressed to the green eyes. "Yes, I am!"They said. It always brings pride to them every time someone refers to them as a 'Quidditch Player'.

"Thanks,"They stated when Victoria said Cash played well. "But it is a team effort, really"They told the young lass. "Are you interested in any kind of sports-related?"Cash inquires the girl.
