Violet was born in February 19th 2010 and lived for most of her early days in the City of Leicester (City Center)
Her parents Harrington Best and Lisa Best are successful bankiers working for the Royal Bank of Scotland. They try to spend time whenever possible with their only child but often it is impossible for them to see eachother other than during the morning and evening.

Violet loved drawing since she was a young toddler, her parents recognized her talent early on and she attended professional art classes since the age of 6.

Since she had no siblings beeing alone at home felt hard for her, it was only natural that she bonded deeply with her Nanny Rosemary who became an older sister for her. From her she also got introduced to (indoor) gardening, tending flowers in pots is one of her favourite hobbys besides drawing up to date. Flowers were the only bit of nature Violet had access to on a regular basis before she visited Hogwarts which explains the deep connection she feels when taking care of them.

She spent most of the school days in the Queensmead Primary Academy just to be picked up by her nanny Rosemary after the classes had ended. She was an eager student and her father always motivated her to study hard so Violet would become as successful as him one day. Her Parents signed her up for a musical/artistic schoolbranch but she never got really warm with playing music.

During her childhood she didnt have many friends although she was popular in school. Her best friend Alina often came over to play with her. However relations with her began to whittle down after she got the letter to Hogwarts and revealed to her friend, claiming she would be going to a boarding school after elementary school.

Violet is 1.10 m large. She has blonde Hair with a touch of brown. She has a smooth face, long eyelashes, grey-blue eyes. Her favourite T-shirt is a yellow one with small clouds printed all over.
Her usual legwear are blue jeans, however in her freetime she also wears various colourful skirts.

She is a normal child that has an uplifting and motivating personality.
When confronted with stress she often fails to remain concentrated and it sometimes happens that she bursts out in tears.
She loves flowers and often draws pictures of them especially when she feels bored, it is part of her more calm side. Preferrably she stays at home, playing on the streets is considered too dangerous by her parents. Thus she is often catched daydreaming outside of the window.

The first instance of magic appeared when Violet was 10 when she drew one of her beloved flowers it happened that the flowers on the balcony started to blossom, even though it was winter. Violet herself did not notice it but her mother who was in home office wondered what might have caused the sudden blossom.
