Valentine's Day evening. In the hospital, two little girls are crying in their mother's arms. Lin and Sophie. They have just been born and are holding hands as they take their first breath. It is common for babies to have blue eyes, then another colour. But Lin was born with green eyes, which turned grey before turning to their usual hazel colour. Charlotte and Johnathan thought it was a reflection of the light. But, in fact, it was the beginning of magic.
The Evanvleck family spent five wonderful years, even though the parents sometimes argued. All parents argue, right? The twins were inseparable and they used to play at being each other's when the teacher confused them. If there is a difference between the two, it's that Lin does ballet and Sophie plays the guitar.
When Lin was five years old, her parents separated. Zoë was 8, the twins 5 and Nancy 2 when a big altercation broke out in the kitchen. Even though they were becoming more and more frequent, the big three told themselves that everything would be fine. But no, that night Johnathan left the house with his things. Linh and Sophie were sad, angry and the two mirrors af their bedroom broke. They were both in their rooms, dazed. With a sound like glass, the mirrors in the room cracked without explanation. The whole family learned six years later that it was magic. It was there, before entering primary school, that the girls became unsocialised. First grade was difficult for the twins, even though they got good grades, they always had to keep busy to avoid thinking about the night of the broken mirrors.

After the first grade, Lin took up singing and Sophie the electric guitar. The following year, in CE2, they made friends and together they sang songs, sometimes sad, sometimes happy, sometimes completely demoralizing. They would take the lyrics, the sheet music and play for hours.
It was during their last summer as Muggles that they played the most. The twins had confessed their witchiness to Suzie and Robin. All the quarters had decreed that they would spend most of the holidays together. The “almost” was when Lin and Sophie went to buy their supplies. The rest of the time they were always together. Now they know their favourite singer's new album by heart.

First Year

It was easily predictable, Lin ended up in Ravenclaw. And to her delight, so did Sophie. On the first night of school, they learned that English was not the only language spoken at Hogwarts. Of course, they suspected as much. But they weren't sure.

The following month, she met Juniper Kelly, who soon became her best friend. How can a cat and a frog be friends? You only had to see Ribbit and Eleven to find out.
At the end of the month, Lin went to the Samhain Festival thinking she would have a good day with Juni. Well, let's just say it didn't go very well. In addition to the big storm, there was some sort of fuzzy battle that Lin still doesn't understand. And for the first time in her life, she was afraid of dying in the midst of the chaos.
Suddenly, Hogwarts was calm again. Juni invited Lin, Sophie, Emily Brewer and Cody Stevenson to her house for Christmas. Of course the twins came!

Returning from holiday, Lin signed up as a Broom Racer and a few days later she did her first race. This race can be roughly summarised as acid burns, thorn scratches, lime burns and the like.
Lin attended the Valentine's Day Tea Party and made a point of making fun of the holiday because February 14th is HER birthday.

Eleven is a beautiful grey and white Silver Siberian cat. She has blue-green eyes and a turquoise blue collar with a gold medal.
Very affectionate, she loves to cuddle and often sleeps on Lin or Sophie's lap. She has a soft toy mouse that she loves to chew on.
