Situated quite close to the centre of the Hogwarts camp, but distant enough so that the students would be able to have a good night sleep without being woken up by the noises, the tent on the outside looked pretty much like the others. Definitely bigger on the inside, this tent would have been the home, for the duration of the Summer Camp, of a mix of eight girls coming from Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.
Upon entering, one would find hanging from the white tent over their heads pastel coloured tassels, some pink, some blue, some other withe or gold; the floor of the common area, much like the bedroom ones, was made out of wood and covered by white carpets; a white, futon-like sofa and two chairs, together with a small table, where the students would have been able to relax and talk after curfew would greet those entering the tent; more pillows were scattered around the table on the floor, so that even those sitting on the ground would have been comfortable; fairy lights were hang around the tent, giving it a particularly enchanted vibe, especially once the sun had set.
On the left and on the right of the central area, two rooms contained five single beds; in this case in particular, two beds would have not been used, but it was still nice to have some extra space, especially when you had so many people living under the same roof.☼

Time: evening
Day: July 1, 2020
It had felt so weird, earlier that morning, to get on the Hogwarts Express and leave the place that for all of those months had become her second home. So many different things had happened in her first year, some worse than others, but still, Lydia was determined to learn from her mistakes and from everything that had happened and grow.
During the train ride, she had fallen asleep, her forehead pressed against the window, and she had woken up more or less thirty minutes before they got to London, just in time to change into something more suitable for the excruciating hot weather that was expecting the Hogwarts' students in the city.
Even if the temperature wasn't that much hotter than back at the castle, because of the amount of buildings that were inside of the city, the temperature was unbearable. Lydia felt extremely happy that she had chosen to dress up with a pair of jeans - shorts of course- an Adidas, pink t-shirt, and her usual black vans on her feet; on her face, together with some wild strand of hair that had escaped her roughly made chignon, a pair of sunglasses sat on her nose.
Once they had arrived at the camp Lydia, just like the other students, listened to the rules and guidelines that the professors told them, as her eyes wandered around. Everything looked incredible, from the sea of tents to the lights all around; a wave of excitement ran through the girl, as she thought about all of the different activities she could have done that summer. After the professors were done explaining everything, Lydia proceeded to walk around the camp, looking for a tent and after a while, she stopped in front of one that had some tassels at the entrance. Situated quite close to the center of the camp, the tent looked indeed like a normal tent from the outside, but when the red headed girl stepped inside, her mouth fell open, as she turned around, trying to take everything in.
The inside was gorgeous, with pastel colours and white all around; the central area was occupied by some kind of living room, where Lydia could see herself read a nice book after dinner, or simply relax; on both sides of the "living room" there were the bedrooms: one per side, they had five curtain beds each, fairy lights and pillows all around. The red headed girl walked around the tent some more, before she put down her glasses on the bed she had chosen, which was the closest to the common area, on the right side.
With a wide grin on her face, she flopped down on the white sofa that pointed towards the entrance, as she let herself relax more into the pillows. It was a shame that Aaron wasn't in the same tent as her, but she understood that, as co-captain, he needed to stay with the team; she also wondered who Rafael would have shared the tent with, and she couldn't help the way her cheeks became red.
Shaking her head, Lydia fixed her gaze on the entrance, hoping to see someone come in soon.

Like everyone else, Ivy had gotten up complaining about the hour, yawning and rubbing her eyes groggily as she grabbed her things. She was an morning person at heart, but there were some things that were just plain ridiculous in her opinion, and getting up that early was one of them. Ivy took no comfort in the reassurance that "they would be able to sleep on the train". That wasn't how her body worked; she was either awake or asleep, and once she got up, she couldn't go back to sleep until it was actually bedtime. Sleeping on a moving vehicle wasn't comfortable either - but the upside to her strange body wiring was that the longer she was up, the more awake she actually felt, and by the time she boarded the train her yawns were gone. It was a quiet ride, seeing as most of her classmates were asleep, and Ivy entertained herself by alternating between reading Wuthering Heights and looking out the window (which proved to be surprisingly fun, as the view was amazing.)
It had felt rather strange to leave behind Hogwarts, as it had been her home for the past - what, nine, ten, months? Her parents hadn't allowed her to return home for any of the holidays or breaks... which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, as she hated life in Bellamy Manor - but it was more so the feeling that they didn't want her anymore that hurt. It was the same for the summer - camp, then to her aunt and uncle's house in London.
Some of her fellow students were nervous about travelling by Portkey. Ivy sighed and grudgingly told them it was fine, before situating herself in a position as far away from the nervous ones as possible - hey, she didn't want to get vomited on. There were a few people she had never seen before, and she assumed that they were the students who would be first years come September. What was the point of coming here, then? This camp would only run for 20 days, and it wasn't even at Hogwarts. Perhaps they wanted to see the Durmstrang and Ilvermorny students? Alright, then, thought Ivy as the world started to whirl around them, just gawk at the international students. That'll definitely make them feel welcome.
It appeared that her good mood had worn off.
"Ugh, I hate travelling by Portkey," she grumbled to herself, landing on the ground. She was used to the sensation, but it messed up her appearance so badly. Ivy dusted herself off before looking around for someone to talk to, not wanting to look lost or lonely. Her eyes landed on Ariana, and she let out a snort of laughter as she recalled the slumber party that had taken place the previous night. "Hey," Ivy greeted her from behind, grinning widely. "Last night was pure madness." Not that she was complaining. It had been a lot of fun - but chaotic fun. "Hey, you wanna be in a tent together?" she added carefully. Ivy didn't really know anyone she could tent with - the few friendships that she had made were either ruined or distant by now.
She quieted down when Professor Jensen and Professor Browne started talking, pointing out all the places they could go and listing the rules. The summer air was sweet and warm on her skin, and Ivy had always liked the hot weather... although she had to admit that it was a little too hot, because she was starting to feel even more tired because of it. She was wearing a black top and a swishy white skirt with roses swirling across the fabric [x] - a lot more casual than her usual clothing choices, but the summer weather called for it.
As Professor Browne signalled that they could go to their tents, Ivy left with Ariana a little uncertainly. She was getting rather tired. "Who knew this would be so hard?" she muttered under her breath. They wandered around for a while, indecisive of which tent to join, when Ivy spotted a vaguely familiar redhead sitting on a white sofa in a tent nearby. "Hey, isn't that Lydia?" she asked, squinting to take a better look. "Should we join her?" Without waiting for an answer, Ivy dragged the other Gryffindor into the tent. She didn't know Lydia very well, but she seemed nice enough - and she didn't want to wander around any longer.
Besides, the tent was rather nice, too. Ivy glanced around, pleasantly surprised at how pretty it was, before turning back to look at the redhead Hufflepuff in front of her. "Hi, Lydia," she said, smiling. "I hope you don't mind if we join you." The last statement was only said to be polite. Ivy tossed her things on the bed next to the one where someone (presumably Lydia) had put their glasses on. She had no intention of moving, and she sat down next to the Hufflepuff on the sofa, watching the entrance with her. Ivy could only hope that the next few people who arrived were people she would like - because if she got stuck tenting with her worst enemies, she was going to flip.
Permission was given by Ariana to godmod her walking around.

Elodie listened attentively as both Professor Jenson and Professor Browne spoke, and blocked the sun with a hand on her forehead, providing some shade for her eyes so that she could see the Professor's clearly. It was a nice day, with the slight summer breeze and warm air, but Elodie had never been the one for cold weather. She much preferred winters - summers were too hot and icky, at least in her opinion.
It had already been quite a long day for Elodie. Summer holidays was a dull affair at home, where her father vanished for long periods at a time, and Elodie was left in the empty house with nothing but her books and a seemingly never-ending pile of holiday homework. Being a First Year at Hogwarts was an exciting thing, no doubt, but also incredibly overwhelming to someone who had never left Manchester, and had surrounded themselves only with Muggles who knew nothing of the magical world. Still, as soon as Elodie had found herself home, she had realised that her home was the same as it had always been: as empty and as still as a coffin.
So Elodie had travelled on the Hogwarts Express quite cheerfully. As she was still the timid, withdrawn girl she had always been, this cheerfulness was much more internal than external, but it was there nonetheless. After a slightly sickening and scary Portkey ride (Elodie had never travelled by one before, and found the experience very disagreeable. She would much rather prefer a car or train) Elodie was back at Hogwarts, surrounded by her fellow students once more.
Elodie quickly found herself faced with a problem - she couldn't seem to find a familiar face in the mass of people. She panicked for a minute (talking to strangers had never been a skill of Elodie's), but then gathered herself together, eager not to ruin the already-good day. Swinging her bag of belongings onto her back, Elodie walked towards a tent close to her, in which she could already see three girls gathered. Almost trembling with nerves, Elodie entered, too preoccupied to observe the tent itself, and joined the small group of girls.
"Hello," she said, her Mancunian accent growing stronger by the second as she grew more anxious. "I'm Elodie. Would I be able to join this tent?"

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Interacting with: @Lydia Cooper @Ivy Bellamy @Elodie Nyangui @Ariana WalkerIt was a scorching day, typical for the summer of course, but Janet liked it. She had grown up in Ireland and any change from the rain was extremely pleasant to her. The lazy gryffindor girl was typically one to wake up late but on this particular morning she had leapt out of bed, excited to get to the camp grounds where she would spend her summer. She wasn't feeling her usual extroverted self though, she was always rather shy at first and she had promised to share a tent with her friend Ariana with several of the other girl's friends. She felt slightly irritated at sharing a tent with her though, she was being completely idiotic at the moment, it surely couldn't be that hard to keep your mouth shut for a couple of seconds. And she had promised to keep it a secret! But she had agreed to share a tent with her before the argument had sprung up and she couldn't change now. The worst part was that the stupid girl wouldn't even apologise to her! She acted like it was Janet's fault! okay she had done her fair share of yelling, but surely she was entitled to be a little angry? This coupled with her fear that the other girls in the tent would "side" with Ariana was enough to make her regret coming to the camp at all. She hated to admit it though. The bold gryffindor was quite fearless when it came to the usual fears like heights and all that, but Janet always had a lingering fear that the other girls would dislike her and that it would make the holidays awkward. But Janet wasn't going to let her stupid shyness get in the way of having fun. And as soon as she had finished listening to the rules she ran off to locate her tent. Janet gathered up her small rucksack and her separate sleeping bag. She was unsure whether beds would be provided (she wouldn't put anything past these amazing wizard tents) so the blue sleeping bag was rolled up tightly in the case just to be on the safe side. As soon as she discovered the position of her sleeping quarters she peered in.
The sight that greeted her was amazing. The floor was scattered with plump, comfy looking pillows and fairy lights hung everywhere giving off a cool mystical vibe. Blue and pink tassels hung in the entrance welcoming visitors and there were even sofas, whoever had decorated this tent had done an amazing job that was for sure. A few other people were already standing in the entrance or sitting on the sofa. She recognized most of the girls in here, she had never actually met up with them until now but knew that they were friends of Ariana. On the sofa sat a girl in her year called Ivy Bellamy, Janet didn't know her well but she was looking forward to getting to know her. She was a good friend of Ariana's and a childhood friend of May Moonstar's, who had mentioned Ivy to Janet quite a few times, now she was finally going to actually meet her hufflepuff friend's friend. Next to Ivy on the sofa was another girl she had spotted with Ariana before now, she had seen her around the castle quite a lot but couldn't place her name, something beginning with L? Lydia! That was it. Wow after a whole year in some of the same classes as these girls (even if she hadn't actually interacted with them before) she ought to know their names a bit quicker, hogwarts wasn't that big of a school after all. And lastly standing in the entrance was a girl with soft golden brown skin and long dark pretty brown ringlets of hair covering her face. Who had just introduced herself as Elodie. Well nice to know she wasn't the only newcomer here then. She breathed an almost inaudible sigh of relief, she had been so worried that she would be pushed out, even if unintentionally, by these girls who were already friends with each other, especially as most of the people in this tent were already friends with Ariana, who was bound to try and avoid her. But Janet was determined to do her best to make a good impression anyway.
"Umm, hey! My name's Janet, mind if I join you?"
A little awkward but it could've gone much worse.OOC Note: Hey, I made a few changes to my post, as I completely forgot me and Ariana were arguing at this point oops! sorry!

Mentioning: All the other girls yet to arrive [who should hurry up before I issue them a bold smack over the head jk jk take your time]
Of all the things that could have gone wrong before summer break, Ariana hadn't seen this particular one as an option. In fact it was possibly the last anticipation that could have ever entered her mind, the girl simply didn't think that herself and Janet wouldn't be speaking to each other.
OH how she hated the girl at present [and she was sure Janet did too.] Why couldn't she admit she was wrong! For heaven's sake, it wasn't that hard. Ariana hadn't even done anything wrong herself! Okay that was a lie. She had. She had gone and spilt a secret she shouldn't have. Although, it had been an accident, and Fred would have found out anyway. It wasn't a big deal, it was just a small crush!
Ariana had a vague idea of a few people she would have wanted to share a tent with at the summer camp. These ideas of course had initially included Janet, but by now Ariana was feeling very resentful that she had ever agreed, the only thing that was stopping her from karate chopping her best friend out of her space was the fact that deep down inside, she did really miss her. She did feel sorry. But her pride was too much, and besides, the blonde hadn't even apologized herself! Typical high and mighty Janet. Ariana could excuse the yelling, the shouting, after all they had both done their fair share. Yet Ariana felt that as long as Janet didn't apologize, Ariana wasn't going to budge from her defiant spot either.
Contrasting her current mood, it was a beautiful day. The warm weather was welcoming to the young gryffindor and she couldn't help but feel her spirits rise as she forgot about Janet temporarily, her excitement now flowing back as she contemplated where they were going to be staying.
"Last night was pure madness."
She was interrupted from her thoughts by Ivy, who was addressing her with a knowing smile. Ariana had gotten to know the girl quite well towards the end of the year, she was certainly good company.
"Hey, you wanna be in a tent together?"
Without a thought Ariana grinned, letting a friendly scoff escape her lips, “Of course!” she replied, “You didn't even need to ask!”
The rules regarding details of the summer camp were explained carefully albeit Ariana found herself zoning out now and then, before she came back to her senses after a while, acknowledging Ivy's familiar voice.
"Should we join her?"
“What?”
Ariana had been gazing absentmindedly around the ‘campsite’. She hadn't taken in a world of Ivy's speech until now. Turning her head she spotted what and who Ivy was referring to. As she was dragged closer, the gryffindor got a clear view of where she would be staying for the remainder of the summer. “Wow” Was all she could say for a moment. The tent was decorated perfectly. Well, in her opinion. Fairy lights and colourful tassels adorned the edging of the entrance, while the inside resembled an inviting pit of cushions and pillows Ariana was itching to dive into. It was then that eyes strayed to the familiar redhead that had initially captured Ivy’s attention. Ariana gave a gasp, “Lydia!” She squealed, making her way to her hufflepuff friend and enveloping her in a hug. “Good going with the tent!” she offered, “Seems you found the best one.”
"I'm Elodie. Would I be able to join this tent?"
Ariana swivelled around, her green orbs meeting with an unfamiliar girl she had never met before. She had dark pretty skin and brown curls that enveloped her face, which was presently blossoming a nervous expression. Ariana definitely hadn't seen her around but was keen to meet with new people, that what this summer was for right? Her tone was welcoming as she addressed the newcomer. “Of course! Feel free! We have plenty of room for more!”
She chucked her belongings onto a bed beside Ivy's, it was more central, but she didn't really mind. Turning to her tent-mates she threw them a smile before opening her mouth to speak again, “Hey do you think we sh-”
"Umm, hey! My name's Janet, mind if I join you?"
Ariana froze. Turning to face the entrance again she narrowed her eyes subconsciously, resisting the urge to say ‘No’ and zip up the tent entrance in the girls face. It was with a guilty jolt that she remembered the long forgotten promise she had made to Janet before the fight. Then again, that was 4 days ago, would she have forgotten?
She sighed, realising that since she was the main talkative person here, [and supposedly the only person who knew Janet] she was going to have to answer.
“Not. At. All.” She began stiffly, knowing that she would regret saying ‘no’ if she did. Janet always seemed to make things more fun. The awkward moment was over, [for now] and Ariana cleared her throat before announcing loudly, “WE NEED RULES IN THIS TENT LADIES!”
The act was very childish, as she imitated a posh authoritative voice as she spoke, giving the impression of a strict professor. She lowered her sunglasses to the end of her nose, stalking around the tent with her nose in the air. Yes she really was the crazy one here. “Rule number one” She began, “No party poopers allowed.” Well she was only 11, what could you expect? The girl could be mature when she wanted to, yet sadly this was not the path she had chosen to take for the time being. "Although, somebody does need to keep us, well mostly me, in check. Any volunteers?" Well as she would have to wait for any other girls to arrive before she continued her very important ‘speech’ grinning, she flopped onto her temporary sleeping space, spreading her arms out as though she were making a snow angel in her blankets.
Her voice was muffled due to the many pillows and blankets she had temporarily submerged her face into, but anyone who was listening was bound to hear her next words.
"This is going to be amazing, dont you think?"

Lizzie had not expected to go to Summer Camp. She honestly had thought that her parents would turn into monsters and tie her up in a small airing cupboard. Even if that was ab it over exaggerated it wasn't that far from the truth. Her mother and father were defiantly very strict about what Lizzie could and could not do.
She had not been very organised over the last few weeks up to graduation. She would have liked to have planned a tent out with Cassie or Blake but Lizzie had left it to the last moment to ask and Cassie seemed to already have plans and it had looked like Blake wouldn't have gone.
The blonde sighed and stepped into the central area where all the tents where. She looked around waiting for one to catch her eye. Lots of them were just plain with nothing on the outside. That was obviously boring she would never be seen dead inside one of them let alone alive.
She sighed and continued on through the hordes of tents seeing if she could notice anyone she knew at all. Quickly, her eyes past a tent that stood out from all the rest of them. She stared at it in awe. It was so beautiful it was nearly as good as her room back at her original home.
Her mouth dropped slightly while she moved forward slowly trying to look through the entrance to see who had already occupied the tent. She squinted her eyes as her ears heard the noise of a girl shouting "WE NEED RULES IN THIS TENT LADIES."
Lizzie laughed and shook her head. That defiantly was the one and only Ariana Walker. She looked peered around one of sides to get a good look at everyone until she landed on the one person she did not want to see. "You've got to be kidding me!" She said sighing and shaking her head angrily.
She had to get over that grudge. It was literally over six months ago and having bad impression of someone for that long was not good for anybody's well being. Lizzie decided it be be for the best if they both turned over a new slate and started with a fresh mind about each other.
The Ravenclaw stepped out of her hiding spot and walked into the tent, "I can keep you all in line. I mean I will be doing it for a living soon." She smiled and crossed her arms. It was a subtle entrance to the people who knew and didn't know her. It made her seem a bit responsible which in reality wasn't that true.
She looked around the room towards the two people she didn't know and smiled at them slightly, "I'm Lizzie. Lizzie Verdine." Lizzie then went and sat down on one of the couches and turned to Lydia, "It's lovely to see you Lydia. It's nice to know we won't be having only ever be having one interaction together." She laughed and pushed some hair out of her face while looking down at her feet putting on a a very slight grimace.

There was a sense of serenity, a reversal of the calm before the storm as the little Ravenclaw was watching the trees whizz by in the infamous Hogwarts Express. It's the end of the school year, and what her mother warned her about dwarfed what she would experience personally. Intrigue, balls, almost dying from hag dolls just because for some reason 5 of them chose you as a target... here were some moments that she would look back on and cringe physically, but despite that, she wouldn't change a single hair of it at all.
Breana looked at the reflection of herself in the window, finding it funny as she knew a lot of music videos had done such similar shots like this. As she looked at herself, she realized that her hair was longer compared to the first time she's on this train. She also chose to change her hair a bit, the clip (or rather, clips) in a different position now. Her choice of clothing hasn't changed much, but lately, she's opted for a more darker and more neutral palettes.
It was a poor decision on her part to add a brown suede jacket on her current ensemble of clothes to summer camp, but Breana quickly remedied it with a simple change and tied it up around her waist for now. Her sneakers weren't the best choice to track through the grassy knolls, as mud and grass bits invaded its tan colors. Luckily, her main attire can survive nature, as she opted for dark detailed cropped pants with a matching rolled-up shirt. There's a funny type of irony in what she wore, as her pants and shirt have graphics that are related to a muggle's understanding of what witchcraft and wizardry is.
Unfortunately for the Ravenclaw, she didn't have that many friends to tent up with. As much as she's fond of Jake and George, being in a tent with boys sounds rather odd for the little girl. She also has Willow to talk to, but since her team won in the Hogwarts Games, odds are she might be with her team to train for the upcoming Internationals. That left Breana wandering around aimlessly until Aaron's friend, Lydia, offered her tent to her. It wasn't much, but maybe she can get another group of friends there?
It wasn't long before the freckled child found the friend in question along with the tent that they're staying in. "... Well, sugar." She muttered to herself. When they mentioned camping, she thought it'd be the classic putting up tent ones with all the nit and grit of survival not... this. She isn't complaining, but how would she explain to her fellow campers why she brought a sleeping bag with her? Either way, she has to face the music one way or another.
As she entered the tent, she was a bit disheartened to see that Lydia is the only familiar face she saw at a glance. That is until she saw someone she didn't think would be here-- Ivy Bellamy. They're on neutral terms now, and their first encounter was practically ages ago since it first occurred in their first days of Hogwarts. Maybe they can become friends during the summer? With pursed lips, she approached the gaggle of girls and cleared her throat. "Hiya," Breana started. "I'm Breana... Uh, Aaron's friend?" She said, directing it to Lydia. "Hope there's still room for me to join in with you all..." Breana looked up and around, still surprised at how glamourous the tent looked. "Heh... This is a rather spiffy looking tent, innit? Ya ever been camping before?" She turned her head to the other girls, hoping to break the ice with the question. "Like, the actual thing with the fishing and putting up them tents?"
