Hello, Harry! Others answered, but if you are curious about how the site was created by our founder, you can look here! <3

Hellooo. This is not a forum suggestion but I really hope that we can see which user voted for which option in the survey thingo, so I can make improvement and to provide specific services for my shop for different people!

I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else. Gets me frustrated

To add to this because I don't want to know who voted against (let's say me) for the purpose of keeping friendship and anonymity with staff votes, if this feature becomes a thing, like how you can see who voted which options in discord, can we add a public and private version. By public, the names are shown. By private, no names are shown either to the poll maker or to the rest of the site.

(to clarify, I'm not going to hold grudges or anything, I just know it might make people sad to hear that their friends may have voted against them, for example, and to have to find out that way)

It is more of a coding suggestion though because I doubt we even have the ability to do anything, and Zach can.

I was thinking we could add the possibility of adding surveys to each post, not just the thread post

We do not want to show who voted for what. If you want to know who voted, do not have a poll and have people vote in the thread. You are less likely to get their honest opinion and more likely how they feel the majority is swaying, but that would be more if you want people to say what you want to hear or if you want them to be honest with you.

Why would we want surveys on an individual post (where it can be buried) rather than a thread itself as the first post?

Since many things people make in At the counter chat, require voting. Most people make seperate threads to vote or add a survey. it would help a lot if I were to have surveys in each post. I realize you can always replace the survey, but some people (including me) like to keep the previous surveys for reference, memory, etc.

This is both a question and suggestion -
Why is RPing not allowed in the year specific study areas, and why don't we allow it?
