New Hufflepuff Prefect
Thank you to all those interested in applying for the role of Prefect. We are pleased to appoint Mr. @Zephyr Deakin as our Hufflepuff's newest prefect.
This means that we will be saying goodbye to our former prefect, Fire Davies. We hope good fortune to both players as they commence a new chapter both as a player and their characters.

SPRING BALL 2026 ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear guests,
Join us in the Hogwarts Courtyard for a night full of wonder and surprises. Dance the night away with your beau, belle, or cherished friends and be surrounded by the most spectacular features of spring, and nourish your soul with the mysterious delights as your refreshment.
It will be on this night that the highly anticipated announcement of this year's Spring Royalty will be made! You have all seen the charming candidates at the Spring Royalty Pageant, and it is time for you to see the fruits of their labour.

STARBORN WONDERS — THE LYRIDS METEOR SHOWER
Happening once every 60 years, the Lyrid Meteor Shower is a beautiful outburst of falling debris from the Comet Thatcher, with its peak predicted on April 22nd. Not wanting to miss such a chance, Elena Clark, along with Kitty Townsend, Helen Aletheia Doukas, and Taros Quintero are pleased to invite all students for an absolutely magical night camping and stargazing out in the picturesque Hogwarts grounds. Multiple pools of activities await you there — complete with snacks, stories, and both muggle and magical tents for students to pick from.

NEW TENUSA HEADMASTER
Please welcome @Rosaline Everhart as Hadrian Hsia, who shall be joining us as the new headmaster of Tenusa, with the departure of the previous Headmaster, Lawrence.
Rosaline was selected due to their dedication to the community, their work on the ball and their upcoming ideas for the school.
As they succeed Lawrence Maynard as the Headmaster, take a moment to think about the amazing errands and adventures Law has given to the school with their time, as well as the advancements in Tenusa's lore and adventures. Please say your thank yous and goodbyes !!

Update Re Prefect of Ravenclaw
Ophelia Northwell is stepping down from her post as Prefect of Ravenclaw due to a IRL commitment. She's been with the team about a year, and we will miss her dearly.
We will not be reopening applications, given that we just closed them. We will let the current vote (replacing Avis Marlong) close, after which we will open a second vote, pulling from the pool of applicants we already have.
This means we will be having 2 new prefects.

New Ravenclaw Prefects
We are pleased to welcome @Adeline Spinks and @Sabrina Lyons to the Ravenclaw prefect team, filling the shoes of Avis Marlong and Ophelia Northwell. Both have demonstrated the reliability necessary for the role, and they bring with them a wealth of exciting new ideas. Please give them a warm welcome as they transition into their new role.

Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain Deadline
After recieving a passing exam for the position, a week's long deadline has now been issued for all those interested in applying for the role. The deadline is now the 29th of April, please make sure to submit the inital written response soon in order to have enough time to work on the exam portion of the application.
