(Context-wise, I'm trying to have two pages of my ency, one for my PC and one for my iNPC, but can't figure out where it goes from one page to two on most devices xD)

Is it allowed to use an IRL person's name (such as the name of a celebrity) for your character? I didn't think so, but I saw someone with the name of an IRL celebrity and was a little confused.
It's not really relevant for me, as I already have an original name for my character, but I was curious.

@Beatrix Griffith Depends on a few factors. If the surname is a common one, like Jackson or Smith in English-speaking countries, and they also choose a common first name to go with it that would name them after a celebrity, we can’t really stop that. Not to mention, some people may be famous in some countries but known very little in others; it would be confusing to enforce with the diverse nationalities serving on staff. As long as the faceclaim and backstory are not of the celebrity in question (and I would also imagine this goes for the celebrity’s stage name too as those tend to be more unique), then all should be fine. If you want, you can owl me or a HoH the user you’re talking about and we can look into it.

Thanks! Good to know. The person in question is an American actress and YouTuber. I don't think it's a very common name, but I searched up the character in question again and neither the face claim nor the backstory match the IRL person's information, so it should be okay.

Dear Beatrix, we don't allow any relation to characters from other fandoms or real-life persons. The definition of "celebrity", however, can vary hugely depending on where you live and what media you are exposed to. For example, if somebody named their character Willard Smith or Will Smith but had no relation to the well-known actor of that name, thiswould be completely ok, as it is a very common name. If they would name their character Billie Eilish, however, we would tell them during the validations process to change their name, as this is an internationally famous singer with a unique name that users won't come up with randomly. I hope that answers your question.

Hey! When does the Christmas/Winter holidays start and end for Hogwarts students?
This is really for an interaction me and @Henry Knight have planned for our iNPCs (Beauxbatons and Durmstrang respectively) but I'm assuming the dates will be pretty similar so we could go with the Hogwarts ones

Our Hogwarts holidays would be the Scottish winter holidays, so 2 weeks from Monday the 21st of December. I hope that helps you.
