@Luna Pheonix , If you were to make a thread you would click (or tap) on the Hogwarts emblem in the corner to get to the location where you would like to have the thread, then in the top left corner there will be a button named "New" in which, once you click you will be able to start writing your own thread, hope this helps!

Or if you would like to reply to the thread then it would be to click on the said thread, click on reply and join

When you are in the reply menu, you use this symbol:

That will make a little box pop up on your screen somewhere.

In that you can enter whatever link you like. When you did that, there will be two brackets on your screen, one saying [url: and then the link] and the other [/url]. Between that you can put whatever you want the link to show for others.

This is how it looks in a preview. (Also don't bother and try to find what I linked, it's just this very page XD)

I have been wondering how to make an encyclopedia page and get registered. I have found some info pages on the subject, but find them a bit unclear. Do I make my Character Page in the registration thread? I am a brand-new first year (this is only my third or so day on the site) and I am a bit confused. I would welcome any advice/direction/assistance anyone has to give. Thank you.

@Calypso Starling Hello - You start your thread in the character section of the encyclopedia, not the registration thread. The registration application thread is after you’ve made your ency; it is for applications to the official index, so you don’t have to worry about that now until you’ve finished.

Hover over your portrait in the upper right corner, and go to encyclopedia > characters > new topic. Name the topic Calypso Starling, First Year, Gryffindor, and then you can begin to add pages to the thread over your character information. You can look at mine if you need an example of what to do. I’m part of the team that approves registrations, so if you need any more help you can send me an owl.

Not as far as I understand. But there are some broom restrictions (such as which brooms you can use and which ones you cannot); the information for which can be found in each broom description in the Quidditch Quality Supplies list of items.

Like Elisabeth said, if you can afford it, you may have a broom, as long as you meet that specific broom's prerequisites. Each broom has different bonuses/perks, however, and the info for that can be found here.

Bit of a weird question haha, but how many posts are there on one page of an encyclopedia thread?

For some reason, all the pages are getting longer on my device (as in, more people on one page of the address book, more posts on one page, more threads on one page, ect), is that happening to everyone or just me?

(Context-wise, I'm trying to have two pages of my ency, one for my PC and one for my iNPC, but can't figure out where it goes from one page to two on most devices xD)
