Quentin usually wasn't one to brag or boast about his talents—he was always thinking about what could have gone better and what he still needed to work on. But hitting two people with one swing? Knocking them both of their broom? Well, that was a personal record now. He couldn't help but have a small smirk of satisfaction.

If you critically fail with your bludger attempt to hit, rather than having your bludger randomly target another user (including yourself or an ally) the bludger cannot target you on a critical fail (but it can still target your allies). On a retarget, there is a random roll for target and then a fresh accuracy roll.

Everest's attention was split between keeping an eye on the game, cheering his teammates on, and dealing with a pesky mosquito that had materialized out of nowhere to harass him. "Urgh!" he exclaimed as he slapped at it. He'd already gotten bit twice, what in the world was up with the bug? Everest turned back to the skies, peering at the brooms zipping around on the horizon. "Let's go!" he cheered.

Kavi looked around the field, struggling to find his teammates. He could find his siblings in the stands just fine (Khara's insistence upon an obnoxious outfit helped), but it seemed the other team had done quite a number to their numbers. The thing about Quidditch though, was that the game wasn't over until the snitch was caught. He sought out the seeker, using all his might to try and help them find the snitch.

Alright, new plan, he told himself, making a quick circle in the air as he threw himself back in the action. They could still do this.

Now that Zoya is actively trying to distract Kaya and Louca, it's getting extra difficult for them to catch the snitch. They miss it again. The audience all groan in frustration.[/b]

It was the cheers. It was probably the guilt, but she wanted to believe it was the cheers. Down there, she could hear Briar and Everest's voices rallying her. She offered them a gentle wave as as she sped past, searching as she'd been for what seemed like days.

But then, as quaffles and bludgers were flying around, just then—

—wait, was it?— 

—oh, yes!

Akerrah turned sharply as she saw what had to the fluttering golden wings that had been eluding her all game. There must have been a distinct whiff of confidence in the way she commanded her broom as the announcer let the whole stadium know she'd finally caught up to Kaya's quick eye.

And Kaya—she glanced around—was gone, along with nearly the entire opposing team. Swallowing, she felt bad for them and Sunday, who'd helped her that one day in the rain. It was now that one Aussie girl against all of them. But Akerrah knew she couldn't ponder the ethics of it. Now, she just had to follow and catch that snitch.

After all, that's what they'd all been cheering for.

If the quaffle hits or misses the target, a quafflegrab the next round would be necessary to determine which team has possession of the quaffle again.

Now was the time for action, so few left on the other team that teammates falling wasn't much of a risk and their Keeper taking over the Chaser role without any competition. Let him have some fun tossing a ball through the hoops, Kit was going to take a page out of Zoya's book and Raphael's book and make sure that none of these current standing players could find the snitch. It was all about speeding straight towards them without fear, a new tactic Kit recently learned as she barreled into the two on one broom- an already precarious position that would work against them as the two fell towards the green below. The savior's instinct, the Beauxbatons student nearly dove alongside them, startled instead by the whistle highlighting her foul. Right. With a smirk, Kit would join up with Zoya on her penalty lap as she teased, "You must quite like the outskirts of the stadium the way you've been out here so many times. Any fun sights?"

Cheating, as it turned out, was only half as much fun if you got caught. If he'd been more of a showman, Raphael might have time spent speeding around the pitch close to the stands to interact with (read: show off for) the people in the stands. As it was, the time simply felt grating.

But then, his team was perfectly capable of finishing this game without him. He kept an eye on the field, watching as Miss Soya kept their opponents from catching the Snitch, Quentin and Kit teamed up to knock their remaining players off their brooms, and their Keeper woke up from his daze and used the time (and the defenseless goalposts) to score some Quaffle points. By the time Raphael had finished his lap, there was really not much more to do - the last, lonely backup player from the other team was just mounting her broom, and apart from that, the field was entirely theirs.
