Yeah, I agree and really find it amazing! That’s the wonderful thing about His grace, no matter how much I may screw up or take the wrong path, He is always understanding cause He knows exactly what I’m going through. God knows me way better than I could ever know myself, and is truly willing to help me improve. I am very confident that He extends the same love to you because He has told us so and God never breaks His promises

I have long subscribed to this club, but my notifications always fade out over time. I do love that it is here though. One of AngelFyre's core arcs is her skepticism about holding a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ while coming to grips with being "magical". AngelFyre is still on her quest to learn what the source of magic actually is so that she can trust that she and all of those whom she loves have not inadvertently suited up for the "wrong" team. I know it was a relief to find other Christians here as well, partly for that reason.

@Lily McCoire, I LOVE that you found your way here. I promise that was not by accident! You got some tremendous love and truth from @Colin McCoire, @Avery Gray, and @Kennedy Cheek (and sorry, I mean to leave no one else out who may have replied to Lily). What I have to say to you has already been said so well by each of them, but it bears repeating.

Do not not come to Jesus because you think you are not worthy of Him or that you will fail Him or disappoint Him. Let me say this flat out. You are not worthy of Him. You will fail Him. You will disappoint Him. But you know what? None of us are worthy and we ALL fail Him and disappoint Him. And when we do, we know that HE is right there, with open arms, waiting to forgive us when we seek His forgiveness. He does not expect you to be perfect. He knows none of us are. He only expects you to move forward, keeping your eyes on Him and and your thoughts and deeds on loving all of those around you. It sounds simple enough, but not gonna lie, it isn't always easy. And if you do turn your life over to Him, everything you carry that shames you will be washed clean. You will not need to be burdened by carrying it any longer. And truthfully, Lily, I don't think there is anything more powerful in this world than the moment any of us truly surrender to Him.

As others have offered, I, too, am here to answer any questions, and that is not an offer just for Lily.

I’ve always been bad at compliments, so know that I verily love your response and wholeheartedly agree And would like to add that the whole premise of Christianity is that you don’t have to work hard to be an amazing and holy person before you can earn forgiveness. Jesus meets you where you are, because you can’t pull yourself out of this quicksand of life without Him. That’s how unconditional His love is. Even when you’re down in the dumps, all God wants is for you to ask for help. He is very willing to give it. @Lily Isobel McCoire

I really love that you’ve worked Jesus into AngelFyre’s story! I did consider it since I created Eonaria at about the same time I accepted Him into my heart, but eventually got so confused trying to fit Biblical theology and Harry Potter magic into the same world that I just let it go Really, where does magic fit into it all? 0-0 and assuming a slightly different version of the Bible for this universe didn’t feel right to me. I’d love to learn more about how AngelFyre’s story has been going!
