Camp '22 Summer Duelling Funtime Extravaganza, Match: 2

Phaedra had no choice but to stay light on her feet. A whistle of fabric shot by her head, of which she was able to escape unscathed by tuning her ears to the source of Aurelia's voice. What she could not avoid, however, was Verona conjuring a storm above her, its dark clouds seemingly engulfing the smokescreen itself before it gave way to clear ground. With her wand now visible on the piste and a sprint away from retrieval, Phaedra beamed impishly at her opponents. Make it count.

There was little he could do with the fumos up. Another bit of healing was sent his way by his own wand. Thankful for another successful cast he'd lift his gaze to see the smoke had cleared from the area. The poor Gryffindor girl was not looking good and her wand wasn't seeming to agree with her.

The Ravenclaw girl was farring well, he'd have to deffinetly get tips from her after their match. Adjusting his stance one last time, he'd let out a small exhale of air.

"Sorry loves, we've got this one in the bag." Milo would hum, shooting Ronnie a small grin.

The end is nigh and Ronnie can see the victory almost at his and Milosh grasp but before he can claim that the International Student reigns over the Hogwarts students at this year's Duelling tournament, he still have one job to do. The Castelobruxo did not waste any time by waiting for the fog from his Fumos to clear out.

Once the fog slowly thinned out, Ronnie cast and incanted the spell for weather-modifying jinx. He pointed his wand towards the Ravenclaw's part of the piste but it seems the cloud only darkened and formed above Phaedra. The lighting is nowhere to be seen and it looks like it will not strike the older Ravenclaw anytime soon.

Though his Metelojinx kind of fail, it did not deters him in the slightest. Ronnie smirks to himself when Milosh announces to the other two that the International Student got this in the bag. The Brazilian then shuffles towards the Durmstrang. "Next round is the last round, yes? What is our last gameplay?"Enquires the blue-grey eyes of the other boy.

When Milosh tell him what to do for the last round of this year's Summer Duelling, he nodded his head. Ronnie put his Duelling stance out and was ready to strike one last time.

ROUND 12: THE END

The last round was here and Nessie had high hopes of seeing some exciting duelling, and the remaining four duellists did not disappoint!

The guest team was back on the offensive, returning to the coordinated attacks they'd used previously, both casting spells towards Aurelia, who expertly avoided Verona's knockback jinx and part of Milosh's wind jinx.

But with Milosh's perfect casting, the wind jinx had divided. Along with Aurelia's knockback jinx, it headed towards Phaedra, who dodged both spells. Nessie was amazed by all the spells that had been cast, and she was quite pleased that nobody else had gotten hurt.

And nobody else would get hurt, as the lightning cloud over Phaedra stayed calm for now, and Nessie double checked the time and then raised her hand to signal to the duellists.

"That's time! Congratulations to the guest team for winning the duel, to Ravenclaw for placing second, and to Gryffindor for a well-fought duel!" Nessie was definitely a fan of everyone she'd just watched, given everything she'd seen. She just hoped they'd all be alright, because the spells they'd all been using were no joke. Nessie ensured that the storm cloud was safely removed and made sure that the duellists were all set to seek medical attention if needed, before taking her leave.

Edit: correcting rewards for second place per clarification from admin

As another hour and rounds went by, this was their final moment for both Milosh and Ronnie. Both the international student Duellist had discussed in hushed whispers amongst them what spells both of them used and which target both the boy will be aimed at. Once given a signal to sling some spells across the piste, Ronnie followed Milosh's lead.

As Milosh cast his Wind Jinx towards Aurelia, Ronnie himself slings his own spell which is the Knockback Jinx. But as the Brazilian predicted, with how slick Aurelia was during their time in this duel, Ronnie knew Milosh's and his spells had a little slim to none chance to hit both of the International Student's intended targets.

Ronnie's jaw dropped when Milsoh's Wind Jinx split into two and the other direction goes towards Phaedra. "Wow! You gotta teach me that, mate!"The bleu-grey-eyed boy said to his Duelling partner for this year. But just like what happened with Aurelia, Milosh's split Wind Jinx did not hit Phaedra and the girl came out unscathed.

Aurelia herself also did the same thing as Ronnie had been doing. She cast her own Knockback Jinx spell to Phaedra and again just like what happened with Milosh's Wind Jinx, Phaedra dodged and weaved the spells like the expert that she was. Ronnie was to engrossed in the match that was still underway that he almost missed the one overseeing this Duel called out the time signaling the end of the tournament.

Ronnie blinks his eyes when voice Nessie's entered his ear announcing the International student won the whole match. It took a few minutes to process what just happened and what he just heard. When the new information finally sank in, Ronnie smiled from ear to ear and turned to Milosh. "Did you hear it, dude, we won!"He smiled so big, his cheeks hurt.

"I can't believe we won!!"The Golden Retriever aura of Ronnie's shines out. Ronnie jumped around as he chanted we won, we won, we wom repeatedly while circling Milosh. When Ronnie feels a bit out of breath from jumping around, he stopped and stand beside Milosh. The euphoria of winning the game was still much inside Ronnie.

And without much thinking about it, the Castelobruxo pupil hugged and kissed his Duelling partner's cheek out of excitement. When Ronnie realized what he had done, Ronnie apologized to Milosh. The dark-brown-haired boy did not know whether Milosh was fond of people invading his personal space and physical gesture or not.

His eyes then averted to both Aurelia and Phaedra. "Both of you are tough contenders to beat. Good game, everyone!"Ronnie stated. As Ronnie took his exit from the piste, the wide smile still spread on his face. Ronnie stepped down from the piste while whistling some Portuguese song. As a first-timer joining Duelling Tournament, he comes out as a victor.

It was an awesome feat in itself. Ronnie can wait to tell his tent mates that he made their school proud by winning the tournament.
