Evander Wells is the third child of Waldemar Wells and Edith Wells-Hamilton. Waldemar and Edith both come from pureblood families who have desperately tried to preserve the strength of the magical race. Waldemar was born with an average magical ability, unlike his brother who lived his life as a Squib. Edith’s magic, on the other hand, was considerably weaker. She could perform simple spells without issue, but as soon as things got more complicated, her magical abilities would often fail her.
In an effort to produce strong and powerful heirs, their parents arranged a marriage between Waldemar and Edith, despite the fact that they were distantly related through a great-grandfather. The marriage, like so many arranged ones, was devoid of love. However, despite the absence of affection, there was no shortage of children. Within a few years, the twins Elijah and Eleanor were born. Evander followed shortly after, and eleven months later their little sister Ethel completed the quartet.
When the twins reached the age at which their magical abilities should have emerged, there was an ominous silence. Waldemar tried everything to awaken the magic in his eldest son, but to no avail. Elijah was a Squib, much to Waldemar’s fury toward his wife Edith. He blamed her. Eleanor eventually showed a small spark of magic at the age of nine—less than Edith had—which meant she was not admitted to any wizarding school. From the moment it became clear that Elijah was a Squib, all attention turned to Evander. He was now the new heir, the one expected to carry on the magical bloodline of the family name. The pressure mounted with each day that his own magic failed to appear.

At the age of seven, the moment finally came—Evander cracked under the pressure and the constant scrutiny of his father. The stress the boy had been carrying for two years burst forth when he accidentally caused the teapot at breakfast to explode. Waldemar wept with joy, despite the cut beneath his eye from the flying glass. Not long after, Ethel also revealed her magical abilities, which meant the Wells family had not done too badly after all.

September 8th, 2012 was perhaps the most unforgettable day in the lives of the Adair household members; it was on this auspicious day that the family welcomed their beloved daughter, Astrid, into the world. The birth of a daughter, particularly in a family that puts a high value on lineage and heritage, was celebrated with joyous hearts and lavish festivities.
Growing up in the opulent, multi-story manor of the Adairs, Astrid has always found herself immersed in a world of extravagance and privilege. The lavish surroundings, from intricate chandeliers to sprawling gardens, shaped her understanding of the world, instilling in her a sense of comfort and expectation; The Adairs were well-connected; their social calendar is likely more packed than most.
As a child, Astrid was enveloped in love, warmth, and attention—she is adored and deeply cherished by her parents, who want nothing more than to see her thrive. But this affection came with an unspoken understanding: she is always under careful watch. Her parents' desire for her to succeed means that they monitor her every move.. The importance of networking was drilled into her from an early age, and while friendships with half-bloods and muggle-borns were never outright banned, they were subtly discouraged. Her parents, who both serve in the ministry of magic, have always served as her role models.
Apart from her family, her neighbors make up the majority of her friends outside of Hogwarts, however they are merely acquaintances rather than close friends.

Astrid's first instance of magic came to her about three months before her 11th birthday. It was on a day when tension filled their house, and Astrid had been arguing with her mother. It was over something trivial, but enough to make Astrid seriously angry, as most pre-teens are. As she rolled her eyes in annoyance, a nearby vase, her mother's y have undoubtedly been discouraged because they are thought to be pointless.favourite, fell down from the table and shattered into shards of glass.
The instance was a huge relief for her family; as their daughter had finally shown magic, albeit a bit later than usual in the family.

Liena had always been different from her family. Yes, she was a full veela like them, but she didn't feel a connection to them. They had always been very angry, while she was quiet and calm, which they never liked. They fought, yelled, and were almost never quiet. They tried to get Liena to join in, but she was much more interested in learning, actually doing something with herself. When she mentioned something like this to them, it didn't end well. They would make fun of her for anything, asking if she would rather be an ugly hag instead of a beautiful veela. Liena, however, never understood the appeal of being a beautiful creature with an ugly heart. She made it her goal to become as different from her family as possible, and whenever they called her out she would tell them exactly that. When one day things boiled over, Liena decided to leave for good. She tried very hard to be normal, but everywhere she went attention followed her. People tripped over air when she walked by, and she never got recognized for anything but her looks. Everything got extremely tiring, and Liena felt like she was alone. She changed everything, never revealed herself to anyone, keeping her head down, sunglasses on, and a huge weight pressing on her shoulders anywhere she went. Then, she met Oliver, a half-blood wizard 2 years out of school who was training to become an auror. Liena knew about wizards. Her family had warned that they were no good, though many of their kind felt the opposite, and so did she. They started to get to know each other, slowly falling deeper and deeper in love. He was the first person to see her. Really see her, not just her beauty, but her personality and smarts. He didn't care that she was a Veela, and promised to protect her from anyone who thought lowly of her. Eventually, they got married, having 2 children, a son, and a daughter named Angela. Angela inherited her mothers hair, though a little darker, and her fathers green eyes. Liena spent years teaching Angela how to survive around people, since even as a half veela she would be incredibly beautiful. She let her spend time around other kids, and wanted her to have the most normal childhood as she could. Once her magic started to reveal, however, Liena became worried. The thoughts of her experience haunted her, and she even worried that her family would find out about Angela. Liena started to teach Angela more about being a Veela, how if anyone treated her differently it wouldn't matter because opinions aren't the truth. She would read her books about protecting herself and using her 'gift' to her advantage. Oliver calmed Liena as best as he could, convincing her that nothing would happen as long as Angela were at Hogwarts. She tried to believe him, she really did, but a part of her would always wonder if Angela would face the same hardship that she had gone through.
Character Backstory:
Reducio
Angela grew up with her mother, father, and brother in a muggle neighborhood in England. She was 'home schooled', as she told the other kids in her neighborhood, by her father until she went to Hogwarts. She and her brother were taught math, reading, writing, and history in order to fit in with the muggle children, as their father said it was important to keep a normal appearance, though they were far from normal, when around muggles. When they had free time, their father would give them books to study magic so they would get to Hogwarts with prior knowledge. Though their father would never let them use his wand, Angela would quietly go up to her room and practice wand movements with her fingers while secretly taking more books out of the library. All of the advanced books, though, were kept separate in order to keep the kids, specifically Angela, from learning more than they were supposed to. Angela, as well as her father and brother, were huge Quidditch fans, and their father cleared out a small room toward the back of their house to let them practice without getting noticed by the muggles. On weekends, their mother would teach them about being a half-veela as a witch or wizard and what powers they would acquire once they were older.
First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
When she was around 8 years old, Angela and her brother were supposed to be sharing a bowl of snacks their mother had given to them. When their mother wasn't looking, he took the bowl and ran into his room, locking the door behind him. She was so angry, and yelled at him to open the door for nearly 10 minutes. When he wouldn't, she just got angrier. Suddenly, the door sprang open, and Angela ran inside toward her brother who was shocked and confused. She thought he was the one who unlocked the door, but realized, after her mom explained to her that it was actually her who had unlocked it, that it was her first time using magic.

He was raised within the care of one of the oldest magical families, the Toussaint with traditions and culture engraved into him and surrounded by their magical legacy throughout his life under their wing. He dedicated his life into learning techniques and spells that's enough to follow his father and brother’s footsteps when the right time comes during his time as a student in Castelobruxo. He powered through his youth with a strong will, charisma and determination and showed his prowess in the sports of broom racing as he finds it more challenging and thrilling than becoming a duellist while also making a name for himself as a menace and a prankster.
Upon graduation, Oziel quickly pursued his dream career, starting his training and becoming an Auror for 7 years. All of the days that he spent his time on honing his skills came into fruition in the form of excellent performance in terms of combat and strategy during his time in service and serving with passion on his work. To enhance his own skills further, he began to travel to observe the works of other Aurors, leading him to a meet up with Maive Voltrouz, a fellow Auror back in England and that led him into the first major change in his life by deciding to start a family with her after the two of them clicked. The start was rough, however. While the Voltrouz Family had ended their streak of pureblood purism, Maive’s mother, Cordelia, was one of those difficult people to deal with, especially when she was still not happy when her son decided to marry a Muggleborn. Fortunately, his stubbornness allowed him to take Maive’s hand for marriage along with the help from the family head, Maive’s father.
Around that time, he decided to stay in England and settle down there along with his wife, continuing his work as an Auror. Becoming Hogwarts’ Groundskeeper wasn’t in his bucket list. It was a job he never dreamed of along with any other faculty staff in a Wizarding School. But the recent incident that had happened in Hogsmeade is what drove him to apply, hoping that he could use his skills and strength to better protect students as well as the family he has that work and studies in the said institution. To be closer to his workplace, Oziel is temporarily residing in his brother’s place in Hogsmeade.
ReducioOziel was 7 years old when he first showed signs of magic. He was bored at that time and with nothing else to do, decided to give his brother a prank by giving him food that was dipped with chili sauce. How Oziel got away with giving it to him without him noticing, that he doesn't know and he didn't question it that much. What matters was that he succeeded and that ended up with his brother chasing him around. He was laughing and enjoying it until he slipped and almost fell down the stairs. Panic filled his head as the hard ground looked closer and closer but when he made contact with it, it felt like a soft cushion, saving him from a nasty fall. While safe from that, he was then subjected to the wrath of his brother in the form of scolding.

They were indeed Slytherin supremacists, believing that the house was the path to greatness. From her very first magical encounter, her grandmother would constantly whisper that she was destined to be a Slytherin, much to Amethyst’s annoyance. She longed to be like her mother, a proud Ravenclaw, but her grandmother’s tyrannical presence overshadowed her childhood. The old woman’s piercing gaze scrutinized her every move, rarely softened by warmth or affection.Yet, deep down, Amethyst couldn’t deny that she secretly cherished the rare moments when her grandmother showed her tenderness. Despite her grandmother’s coldness echoing through the walls of Castillo mansion, Amethyst knew her parents adored her, often going on short trips with them, thankfully without her grandmother. She was an absolutely spoiled kid, thanks to her grandfather who showered her with gifts and anything she could ever want. Her elementary education was completely taken care off by her grandmother and started at the age of 3. She was carefully taught how each syllable should smoothly roll out of her tongue, and to write in a beautiful cursive hand. She had no tutors, but her study room was filled with charmed books, quills, magical chalks and a small blackboard. Her grandmother would make sure that she completed each and every lesson before she could leave her desk. Once the reading and writing lessons would be over, she would be given etiquette lessons by a tutor who came by. Her grandmother was particular about her performance in all the lessons. One mistake or an ounce of playfulness, would get her reprimanded. To her relief, bedtime stories were not her grandmother's forté. It was Amy's favourite time when her mother would sit beside her bed narrating mesmerizing stories, always ending with a moral lesson before her mother would kiss her goodnight.
First Instance of Magic:ReducioAmy when she was 5 had decided to sneak outside the mansion wanting to take a refuge on the banks of river Lune to skip her etiquette lessons when she was no longer able to fake an illness. Her grandmother, who found her in no time, had dragged her back inside . Amethyst had then thrown a fit, for her grandmother was trying to lock her inside her room. As soon as she had tried that, the lock had flew open hitting an ornamental glass frame. Flabbergasted due to the magical showcase, Amy's grandmother had ended up treating her to a variety of cakes.

ReducioMy name is Hadley Wells, although I wasn’t born with that name. I was actually born as 'Ethel Hadley Wells', but I’ve hated that name from a young age. That’s why I’ve always gone by Hadley. Everyone calls me that, too. Except for my parents, of course, who still like to cling to my birth name. Oh, and my brother Evander likes to tease me with it now and then, unfortunately.
My parents, Waldemar Wells and Edith Wells-Hamilton, both come from families who have desperately tried to preserve the strength of the magical race. In an effort to produce strong and powerful heirs, their parents arranged a marriage between the two of them. The marriage was devoid of love, but there was no shortage of children.
You see, I’m the youngest of four children. Elijah, my oldest brother, was born without magic and is therefore a squib. Just like his twin sister, Eleanor, although she did show some sign of magic, but it was too weak to truly call her magical. Much to the shame of my parents. I wasn't born yet at the time, but later I heard stories about how hard my father tried to ignite their magic. Without success, for which my mother was often blamed because her magic was much weaker than his.
Luckily for them, along came Evander, who, unlike the other two, did turn out to be magical. And finally, eleven months after Evander's birth, there was me! I’m magical too, to their surprise —though, honestly, I might’ve preferred not to be. It might’ve been easier in several ways, to be honest. Also, I find Muggles absolutely fascinating and, secretly, I would’ve quite liked to live as one.
But yes, I am magical! Though I actually didn’t find out until a bit later in life, which led my parents to believe for quite some time that I was yet another squib. They basically assumed I would be a squib from the moment Evander turned out to have magic. But when I was about nine years old, I accidentally turned my sister Eleanor’s hair bright pink after she had her music turned up way too loud—again. I have to admit, the look on her face was totally worth it. As was the look on the faces of both of my parents.
The fact that I’m magical meant that I received a letter for Hogwarts on my eleventh birthday. Just like Evander—who, by the way, is only eleven months older than I am, which meant we got to go to Hogwarts together, at the same time. Yay...
What else can I tell you about myself… Oh, right! Just like the rest of my family, I have dark brown hair and fairly dark eyes. People always instantly see that we’re related, which isn’t always a good thing. People often say I come across as a bit of a tomboy, but that’s probably because Evander and I have spent so much time together, thanks to our small age gap. Despite the arguments we, obviously, have from time to time, we’re really thick as thieves.
People would describe me as a cheerful, enthusiastic live wire who mostly does whatever she wants. I don’t care much about what others think and live life on my own terms. I’m curious, determined, and sometimes a little impatient. On the other hand, I can also be quite reserved and allow only a few people to get close to me. Very few truly know the real me.
Despite the fact that Muggles fascinate me immensely, I have grown quite curious about my magical side and everything that might be possible. Because my parents mainly focussed on the magical abilities of Evander, I probably haven’t learned nearly as much as my new classmates, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what Hogwarts has in store for me.

Born on 14 April 2013, Julie Cameron's early years were a mix of the magical and the mundane, shaped by her parents: Ylana Cameron (née Otterbridge), a half-blood magizoologist who transitioned to nursery work, and Gilbert Cameron, a muggle-born herbologist. She grew up in an a household that encouraged curiosity, creativity, and outdoor play. Their humble estate is dominated by huge greenhouse, a sanctuary for both magical and ordinary flora and fauna. Her parents both work hand in hand to operate their greenhouse. They shared their botanical bounty with both the wizarding and Muggle communities, selling plants, juices, and vegetables.
Julie knows she's cherished by her parents. They encouraged her to explore her interests but were never too complacent. They both knew the value of discipline so they kept her busy with chores too. Both parents also encouraged Julie to explore Stow Cum Quy and its resident muggles. This isn't just to reinforce Gilbert's heritage, but both her parents also believe that such activities are necessary so Julie wouldn't grow prejudiced ideas about non-wizarding people.
From a young age, Julie and her older sister, Gwen, now a third-year Ravenclaw at Hogwarts, learned basic gardening skills, preparing them to eventually lend a hand in the family business. Julie's toddler years were vibrant with the adventures and imaginative games sparked by Gwen. Whether it was a simple game of backyard football or the meticulous task of uprooting plants, the sisters shared a love for outdoor activities and a mutual aspiration to one day become legendary dragonologists. But as Gwen spent more time on charms and spell books, Julie can't help but feel her older sister becoming less of the energetic, swashbuckling sister she grew up with. She hopes her admission to Hogwarts would help her understand her sister more.

Eli was born in Stirling, Scotland on the fine morning of April 23rd, 2013. There was nothing particularly exciting or spectacular about her birth. She was born to Aedan Goldhorn (half-blood) and Leota Colten (Muggle). Her father, Aedan, works as an astronomer and Eli has grown up with a healthy appreciation for the night skies and fairly good knowledge surrounding the constellations and such. Her mother, Leota, teaches mathematics and coaches a local football team at a muggle high school. Eli did in fact attend a muggle school until she was old enough to go to Hogwarts, as per her mother's wishes.
Eli also has a little brother: Rowan. He is three years younger than her. They grew up relatively close and Eli has always been glad that she's basically had a built-in best friend for most of her life. She misses him quite a bit while she's at Hogwarts, especially since it is a couple of years before he will be able to attend as well. She'd always been a bit protective over her little brother and worries about him a bit more now that she's not there physically for him. On top of this, the family has a grumpy cat named Gilligan (an old tuxedo who had been with Eli's father for many, many years).
Her best-friend growing up is a muggle from her neighbourhood: Elise Hughes. They met when they were five years old and had been all but inseparable since then but things have become a little more complicated now that Eli is off to Hogwarts . They were often found playing down by the stream and playing make-believe in the nearby woods.

Eli's first instance of accidental magic happened when she was a toddler. Upset one day that her father wasn't home to read her a bedtime story, her favourite stuffie (a cute dragon) seemed to breathe a spurt of flame. Nothing caught fire, thankfully, but being a Muggle, Eli's mother panicked and decided that the safest option was to keep Eli and her stuffie in the bathtub until her father could get home. Needless to say, the young girl was excited about getting to stay up past her bedtime.

ReducioAnaleia Kailany Nicastro, or simply known as Annie by her family, was born on seventeenth of June at a quiet town of Salisbury, England. She was raised in a small abode surrounded with books, history, and witful conversation (courtesy of her parents). Her mother, Analyn Whitborn-Nicastro, is a Muggleborn history professor working at Godolphin School which is near their place. On the other hand, her father, Cairo Zephyr Nicastro, works for the Ministry of Magic under the Department of Magical Artifacts. He is a descendant of a union between two prestigious Nicastro and Carswell family that were known for their prejudistic view over the Wizarding World. Her father got ousted off when he chose to marry her mother instead. And because of that, prejudism and supremacist thoughts and upbringing had never been a part of her childhood life.
She was rather connected to the Muggle world due to her mother's knowledge of many muggle things as she is a Muggleborn, but Analeia never forget her roots as a half-blood witch. She was living in between two worlds yet despite that, she never felt lost with her parents. Her mother supports her in exploring the best of both worlds while her father had ingrained to her an independence and a mindset of questioning old traditions and think for herself. Her parents' passion for magical artifacts and history urged her own appreciation (and a mild/slight obsession) with wanting to discover and learn the past and history.

ReducioAnaleia developed an early liking to reading as it was one of a hobby she frequently do aside from playing outside. By the mere age of five, she now viewed books as more than just papers and ink but a door to worlds far beyond her own. It was one rainy afternoon and the somber mood was a great time to delve in deep in books and tea. Her mother had recently bought her a new book about ancient mythologies and Analeia was eager to finish it even if she have remaining three unfinished history texts about Charles Darwin's works that her mother used as a reference to make her students do a thousand-words essay. But the book was somehow placed at the top of the tallest shelf and is tucked behind a small globe model, which must be her father's doing again, that even with the help of chairs, she won't be able to reach it.
She tried and nearly climbed against the bookshelves but failed no matter how she tried to clung in balance. She even dragged the tallest stool their house had but even then, the book remained stubbornly out of reach. Frustrated, she stomped her foot and tried to climb the shelves again, but her foot slipped off, making her fall down to the ground with a hard thud. Tears prickled at her eyes due to mounting frustration and the sting of the fall burning at her back. Then without any warning, the globe wobbled and tilted off the shelf, tumbling to the floor with a clang, startling her. She watched as it rolled to a stop near her feet, completely shocked at what just happened. Her mother rushed and asked what happen which she explained with much difficulty but that night, they both explained to her so she would have some idea about unintentional magic.

Character Backstory:
Reducio
We live in a mansion in London where there are so many poor people and a lot of rich people who live in mansions. The Pembroke name goes back a long time. We are all Pure bloods but no one forces it except my parents always invite boys of my age from wizarding families. I don't like living in a mansion because everyone is looking in and I feel so bad for all the poor people. I am the only one in my family who is at school because I refused to be tutored. At school I get bullied because I like reading and writing and class in general. I also get bullied because I always give money to the poor outside the school gates.

The first time I did magic was when I was last year. I was meant to be in bed but my parents were having a "meeting". A meeting is them talking about me and how bad I was that day and what they should do which is why I always listen in so I know what is going to happen in the morning. This time I was confused because I hadn't done anything wrong ( well that I knew of) so I creeped downstairs, turned right, down another set of stairs, turned left and walked down the corridor to get to my parents meeting place. The always have their meetings together because they both own some magical co-operation ( that is what they called it when I asked them what they do. They said that they own some magical co-operation and that I would learn about it when I was older.) So I listened in and I heard them talking like a normal conversation which is wierd but then mum made a noise. Something between a sigh and a grunt. After that I couldn't hear except a few words. I heard:
- Squib
Everyone think
NO!
Family line
she...only daughter
I listened getting angrier and angrier because I could tell they thought I was a squib when suddenly there was a fire on the doorknob in the shape of my hand! My parents must have seen the fire or heard my yelps over the noise and pulled out their wands in a instant and shouted Aguamenti. The fire extinguished and it proved to my parents that I was not a squib. From then on they put a spell on the door so I couldn't eavesdrop.

Reasons for Pending:
- You claim to be a pureblood in your application but in your profile card you have been registered as a wizard born. While similar in blood these two share wildly different social and cultural views. It seems from your backstory you are more likely writing a pureblood character. Please let us know this as your profile card would have to be updated.
- We need a little bit more from you in your backstory as while 220 was enough for the entire validations application it is required just on backstory alone for index. There are also a few issues with your story like the fact that there aren't a lot of mansions in London as it is a large urban city, perhaps you live on the outskirts. We also need further detail on the school you attend and purebloods wouldn't attend normal muggle school but their own private schools (SEE THIS LORE POST) Given that the school would be magical it is also unlikely for there to be poor people begging at the gates.
- You are missing some mandatory information from your encyclopaedia such as your house and have confused species for blood status. Your species should be human.
- Your trunk information needs to be placed in a separate post to your ency page and cannot feature coloured writing.
