If the job’s not working, maybe you could see if there’s other local jobs that could fit your needs? Or are you getting benefits working at the uni?

Oh believe me, I've been trying. Uni just kind of works out (in theory if I were to compare it with my actual experience...).

I'm probably getting petty over this, but why would they want to hire students if they're not gonna assign work. Or rather, refuse to assign me work when it's clear I want to? I dunno... I'm getting rambly about this.
