Dark black with greenish color eyes, long straight black hair that reaches my thighs, black eyelashes, pale white skin, 5 ft tall, thin, with many rings on my fingers. I also have a white eyebrow, which was caused by selective albinism.

Mentally stable-ish. I am quiet, like a dark shadow. I don't speak unless spoken to or if I have to. I am artistic in a disturbing way, even though no one knows about it. I am very smart, and love to read. My favorite subject is Potions, and I worship Severus Snape and want to be like him someday. I have a black walnut wand with a phoenix feather for a core. I also have 2 middle names, Mania and Lyssa, following family tradition.
My life was quiet before Hogwarts. I was always cared for by a multitude of nannies, along with some of the house elves. My parents never truly had time for me, as they had other things to worry about. I wasn't really a troublesome child, or so I was told. I was rather shy for a child my age, and I preferred to read a book then go and play some mindless game like Gobstones or such. I always particularly loved animals, and was always running home with whatever little animal I found in the forest. I was born in London, but then moved to Llagefni, Wales in 2014, a year after I was born due to the fact that my mother had one of her fancies, saying at that time that Wales was a better place to raise a child, not to also mention that fact that many family members lived there. My father naturally agreed. I wish he hadn't sometimes.. I was always the black sheep of the family, even at my young age. I was a dark shadow, a black cloud to their seemingly happy sunshine. My parents weren't vicious or cruel to me, they just never understood me. I was inclined to refuse any form of affection, no matter how hard they vied for it at first. After a time, they simply accepted that I wasn't the type to like to receive affection and stopped trying. It wasn't that I was haphephobic, or anything of the sort. I simply felt distaste at the constant and obsessive desire of people to be showing affection through touch. My parents were shocked at the time when I showed my first signs of sccidental magic, as was the rest of my family. Almost as if they had not been expecting that I was going to be a witch.

First Instance of Magic: The first instance of accidental magic was when I was 5. I was feeling angry at my mother. She had forced me into what was in my opinion, a pink monstrosity. I didn't want to wear it. But my mother kept insisting that I wear it until suddenly, I couldn't handle it anymore. I started to scream and scream. At that same moment, my mother's favorite vase broke into a thousand pieces. She screamed as well. My father came in and fixed it but I didn't stop screaming. I couldn't. No one was hurt, but still, after that, I was in shock.

Nyx Blackheart had always been an enigma, even to her own family. Born into the Blackheart family, a long line of respected witches and wizards, Nyx grew up surrounded by magical knowledge, but nothing too extraordinary ever seemed to happen to her—until one fateful summer day when she was seven. The Blackheart family home was nestled deep in the heart of a forest, hidden from Muggle eyes, with towering trees that seemed to whisper ancient secrets. Nyx’s parents were quiet and reserved, typical of the Blackheart clan. They were known for their talents in Herbology and Charms, and despite their long lineage, there was nothing unusual about them, at least on the surface. One late afternoon, while playing near the edge of the forest, Nyx came across a large, winding snake in the underbrush. It was black with green eyes, its scales glimmering like jewels in the soft light. She wasn’t scared, not even a little. The snake slithered closer, its tongue flickering, and to her surprise, Nyx didn’t feel the usual sense of fear. Instead, she knelt down, mesmerized, and then did something that would change her life forever—she spoke to the snake. “Why are you here?” Nyx asked softly, in words that felt both foreign and natural. The snake paused, then responded in a low hiss. “I’ve been waiting.” Nyx’s heart skipped a beat. She didn’t understand how she could be talking to it, but the words just flowed from her mouth, instinctual, as if she’d always known the language. When the snake disappeared into the undergrowth, Nyx stood still, trying to process what had just happened. She hadn’t heard anyone speak Parseltongue before, not even her parents, and the thought that she might be a Parselmouth unsettled her. For as long as she could remember, her family had never exhibited any signs of Parseltongue. They were a quiet, well-respected family, with no connection to the dark, dangerous traits associated with the skill. That evening, she couldn’t shake the experience. She sat in the sitting room of the Blackheart house, playing with her toy wands, when her father walked in, his stern face drawn in concern. Nyx hadn’t told anyone what had happened, but her mother had noticed a strange, serpentine hiss when she’d asked Nyx to help with something in the kitchen earlier. “Nyx,” her father said gently, kneeling down in front of her. “Do you know what you did earlier today?” “I—I spoke to the snake,” she said, unsure how to explain it. “Tell me exactly what you said,” he asked, his voice low. Nyx repeated the words, and to her surprise, her father didn’t seem alarmed—at least, not in the way she expected. He seemed to be listening carefully, his eyes narrowing, a shadow of recognition flickering in them. “You’ve inherited it,” he murmured, more to himself than to her. “Inherited what?” Nyx asked, suddenly feeling the weight of the conversation pressing on her young shoulders. “Parseltongue,” her father replied. “It’s a rare gift...or curse, depending on how you view it.” Nyx felt a chill run down her spine. Parseltongue? That was a trait linked to dark wizards, particularly the infamous Salazar Slytherin and, more recently, Lord Voldemort. Was she destined for darkness? Her father took a deep breath, the lines on his face deepening. “It’s from your great-grandfather. He had the gift, though it was kept hidden for many years. He was a quiet man, a brilliant alchemist, but he never spoke about it. We thought it had skipped a generation...but it seems it’s returned.” Nyx’s great-grandfather, who had dissapered when her father was still a young man, had always been a figure of mystery in the family. Nyx had only heard whispers about him—rumors of a secretive past, his reclusiveness, and his involvement in rare, ancient magical practices. But no one ever spoke about him openly. Nyx’s mother finally spoke up. “You must be careful, Nyx. Parseltongue is a rare gift, but it’s not something that should be flaunted. It can be.... misunderstood, by others.” For weeks, Nyx grappled with the truth of what she had inherited. She practiced speaking to the snakes in the garden, unsure if she should embrace this strange ability or hide it away. Her parents, though kind, couldn’t provide her with much guidance. The Blackhearts had always prided themselves on their subtlety, their skill with quiet, practical magic, but Parseltongue wasn’t something they had ever known how to deal with. Despite the uncertainty, Nyx couldn’t deny the curiosity it sparked in her. The snakes weren’t dangerous—they were fascinating, almost like old friends, and they spoke to her like no one else did. In them, she found a strange comfort. But every time someone in her family would ask about it, she would brush it off, too afraid to delve deeper into what it meant for her future. Her parents had bought her a snake one day a few months after finding out. She took it as their way of saying that they supported her.
As Nyx approached her eleventh birthday, the discovery of her Parseltongue was still something she kept to herself. She would never tell anyone. After all, some things are best kept a secret.

Character Special Race/Talent:
Olivia is a werewolf.
Why it would suit her: This would suit Olivia well because she is very withdrawn and dislikes socializing with people. She can often be disliked and get a bad reputation without her having done anything wrong. Being half animal would contribute to her idea of not harming animals and that animals are valuable. Being a werewolf would also contribute to Olivia's feeling of not fitting in. She would rather spend time by herself which she definitely would do if she were a werewolf.
What she got it from: She was bitten by a werewolf at the age of three. They lived in Sweden at the time because they only moved to London after Olivia's mother died.
It was Christmas break and they were staying in a cabin in northern Sweden that they had rented for the holiday. It was a late December evening and the family was out in the woods by their house. The clouds in the sky made them unaware that there was a full moon. They walked a little further into the woods. Olivia's parents stopped at a tree with Bowtruckles. But Olivia continued further into the woods. The trees grew bigger and denser. There was a howl in the distance but little three-year-old Olivia didn't think anything of it. She stopped to look at a leaf on the ground. Suddenly the clouds parted and the full moon lit up the small clearing Olivia was in. Suddenly Olivia heard a crackling of branches and looked around. "Hello, is anyone there?" she asked with a smile. She took a step closer to the bush where the sound had come from. Then the werewolf pounced on her and bit her. Olivia screamed loudly in pain and fear. Her parents heard it and ran towards the sound of her daughter. When they arrived, Marc drew his staff and used some spells to drive the werewolf away. Olivia's mother ran over and found little Olivia unconscious on the ground with lacerations all over her body except for her face which she had protected with her little hands. If it hadn't been for Olivia's parents being so quick, Olivia would have died that night.
How to spot it: Olivia has scars all over her body except for her face and almost always wears long-sleeved shirts and pants to hide it. She is gone during the full moon when she turns into a werewolf and takes a few days to recover after the full moon. She doesn't let people get close to her because she is afraid they will leave her as soon as they find out her secret. She hates when people are mean to innocent animals because she herself is half-animal. She likes to eat meat and is almost supernaturally strong. She knows a lot about werewolves and can recite the recipe for Wolfsbane potion. She reacts strongly when people talk about half-humans and has once severely beaten someone for speaking badly about werewolves, centaurs and other half-human creatures.
Remember: you need to register your character to Index within 30 days of validation to be eligible for a magical race (such as part Giant) or have a magical talent (such as Parselmouth) and you need to write a 500 word (maximum of 2K word) application describing how this fits your character (as in describe how they exhibit this magical talent or race) and where it came from (example, your grandmother was a Vampire, you had a distant Seer ancestor, etc.). Once you are registered as human, you can no longer apply for a special race.
Character Backstory: Olivia is a half-blood witch. Her father is Marc William, a pure-blood wizard who works as an Auror. Her mother was Muggle-born and worked as a magical zoologist, but she died when Olivia was five years old. She was killed by a magical beast on a mission that she and Marc were on. In memory of her mother, Olivia always wears a bracelet that belonged to her. It is a silver chain with a moon.
Olivia and her family lived in an apartment in Stockholm, Sweden. Olivia grew up with knowledge of the magical world. Her mother taught her to love magical beasts and creatures in a special way, and because of this, Olivia has always seen nature differently. After Olivia's mother died, Marc got a job as an Auror at the Ministry of Magic and they moved to London. Their new home is on a street on the outskirts of London. It is an apartment located on the first floor of an apartment building, which results in it having a small courtyard. They have a special room for Olivia's transformations into werewolves once a month. Otherwise, their apartment consists of a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The farm has a large apple tree with a simple wooden swing. Olivia stays home when her father works, which she finds terribly boring. Therefore, she usually spends her time reading or taking long walks in nature. Olivia and Marc have a special bond. They are close to each other and talk about everything and nothing. Olivia loves to hear Marc tell about his assignments as an Auror. Her favorite books are: Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
First Instance of Magic: Olivia's first encounter with magic happened on a warm spring day in April. Olivia was 10 years old and was at an Easter holiday camp. Everyone at the camp was older and taller than Olivia. One day there was an Easter egg hunt. Things went badly for Olivia, who couldn't find any eggs. But when she finally found an egg, some older guys took it from her and put it in a place she couldn't reach. Olivia tried to get it but couldn't. After trying for about ten minutes, she gave up and sat down to stare at the egg. Then the egg suddenly lifted and floated down to her. Olivia was shocked but overjoyed. When the egg hunt was over and they gathered, Olivia was mocked for only finding one egg. The guys who had put her egg in a high place laughed loudly, because they had a whole basket of eggs. Olivia was sad and angry, and the guys' basket suddenly started to burn. All their eggs were destroyed but Olivia had her egg and enjoyed (a little gloatingly) the candy inside.

Character Backstory: A sweet, kind ambivert, Emalyn usually goes by Emmy. She's usually nice, but if you get on her bad side she can be a completely different person. She gets slightly above average grades. Emmy knows how to maintain a successful balanced social and academic life. Her hobbies are drawing, reading, and hanging out with friends. She loves activities involving other people. Some negative traits she has is that she gets annoyed easily, and can be bossy + judgy at times. Emmy likes feeling major to people, which is why she was not excited about coming to Hogwarts. Emmy is not a morning person, trying to interact with her when she just woke up will not have a good result. Emmy lived with her mother Julie Waverly, and father Gavin Waverly. She also has a younger brother named Lewis Waverly, who is 10. She also lived with a black housecat, named Boots. Emmy lived a very quiet and independent life, as her parents busied themselves for work. She usually hung out with her half blood or muggle born friends or her brother, making her more eager for social interaction. Emmy grew up with no pure-blood friends, aside from Isabella, who she had her first instance of magic with. Being with her friends and people she is familiar with is what keeps her the most happy. At first, she was excited to come to Hogwarts, but the idea of having to leave all of her friends did not sit well with Emmy. She didn't want to leave her comfort zone, and making new friend was going to be a little hard, especially since they were all pure-bloods like her.
First Instance of Magic: 7 year old Emalyn was playing in her friend Isabella's (Pure Blood) backyard. It was very plain, with dead, yellow grasses. Isabella was very upset and wanted a more colorful backyard. Without even knowing, Emalyn started walking around and started leaving a few flowers in her path. It soon stopped, but it was enough to keep Isabella happy. Emalyn and Isabella are still very close friends.

Backstory: Emilia actually didn't know that her mother was a witch until she was 9. Her parents didn't want to tell her when she was younger, so that she could experience the Muggle world first, just in case she didn't exhibit any magic. Her parents, Henry and Johanna Roberts, are both very loving, but a little overbearing. They can't stand the idea of their little girl out there alone, but Emilia just wants to be independent, despite the fact that she is only 11. She had trouble making friends in primary school, because she was a bit different. She didn't really like playing, and found really loud spaces completely overwhelming. So then, books were her best friends. Emilia, while having a lot of kindness in her heart, can be perceived as a bit...blunt. She can be a bit brash, and tends to express what she thinks, even in instances where she probably shouldn't. She's outgoing, although it takes a bit for her to crack a smile. Although she has a very stern resting face, she means good in every situation. She just needs some people in her life to crack her very thick shell. Now that she's going to Hogwarts, she doesn't know what she's going to do. She'd been reading lots of books from the Wizarding World, but she didn't feel quite ready for this big change. After starting at Hogwarts and being sorted into Hufflepuff, she felt as if her house suited her. She was still shy, but over time she figured out who she wanted to hang out with, and also learned to get out of her shell. While she needs to learn to get out of her comfort zone as she grows up, she is well on her way to becoming outgoing and happy with her life.

First Instance of Magic: When Emilia was 9, she really wanted the book, The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland, from her bookshelf. Alas, she was too small to grab it, as her father had put it up high after catching Emilia with the book after bedtime. So she tried to stack books to use as a stepladder, but it was too wobbly and she slipped! But instead of hitting the ground, she just floated, and she was in complete shock. She screamed for her mom, who came running in quickly. When she saw Emilia just floating in the air with books scattered around, she burst out in laughter.

Parselmouth
A single child in her family, Lucrezia didn’t have a lot of friends outside of Nyx and Cobbwell. Much of her socialization was with the animals that she hung out with, often caring for them and learning about their evolution through time. It helped comfort her and starve off any loneliness as her parents continued to move around for their international herb and potion business. With her father Dante often needing to move around, following traces of rare herbs and her mother studying their effects.

Her travels, however, benefitted her quite a bit as she became familiar with different cultures and languages. Her interest in history helped fit her into each new place with ease and allowed her to connect with the different critters that lived in the area. Combined with multiracial parents, she began to quickly pick up and parse the intricate sounds that differentiated languages between one another. She soon learned to speak a few languages herself, including Italian, French, and some Chinese on top of her native English.

During her time living in Istanbul she was at the magical bazaar buying vegetables and taking pictures of the architecture to send Nyx and Cobbwell messages when she came across a snake laying just off to the side of the Hagia Sophia entrance. It was the first time she had seen one outside of the zoo, and she found herself captivated to see one in the wild. Upon closer inspection, however, she became quickly devastated when she realised the snake had made a mistake and was trying to eat itself. She realised the snake was talking to her and told her it was hurting. Although she had no issues freeing the snake from itself, she soon learned that others were watching her. They described to her that she was hissing at the snake, as though she knew what it was saying. Being only 9 years old, she assumed it was just normal until her mother pulled her aside and explained to her that not everyone can speak this language, but many people in the Bellevue family line can speak Parseltongue, thanks to one of their ancestors, Booccus, who was a Deatheater and very interested in Dark Wizardry.

According to her mother, however, they kept their ability to speak parseltongue a secret, particularly when they wandered through areas with muggles. Its usage is shunned among even wizard society, and the shame was something too much for someone so young to bear so early on. Now that Lucrezia had experienced her first time speaking Parseltongue, her mother agreed to help her learn it and refine her ability to control sibilants so it could be used for all snakes, as different species have different accents and different hearing ranges. Some of them even outside of human hearing range.

When Lucrezia returned to Italy, she would practice her parseltongue with the horsewhip snake in her backyard. The language soon became like a 3rd language to her. Just before leaving for Hogwarts, Lucrezia asked her mother to read any letters she sent to the horse whip snake in the garden.

Character Backstory:

With her mother Cobera being a travelling potioneer and her father Dante, a herbologist specialising in rare herbs. Lucrezia grew up moving around various wizarding communities in the US, Belgium and Italy for a few years at the time. As her mother is of mixed American and Belgian descent and her father Italian.

Even as an only child Lucrezia seldomly fells lonely as she keeps in touch with her friends through owls weekly. Making sure to send each other the latest updates. She maintains a great relationship with her friends despite the distance. Tutored by her parents and other private tutors, she often shared classes with her fellow friends: Cobbwell and Nyx being mischievous during their breaks and free time.

Nyx would bring books from her family library for them to decipher and read together. One time when Nyx found a strange book, they were unsure if they should read it but Lucrezia thought the cover was so elegantly decorated that it couldn't possibly be a bad book.

That book horrifying all three of them that day. The first few pages lead them to believe that it was a strange recipe book. But after reading for a bit more, it seemed more like a novel. One following the main character Sebastian and his friends making all types off strange foods. One friend stood out, Markus, a wizard from Australia who always had the most vile ideas. Curiosity piqued, Lucrezia asked Cobbwell who read the fastest to spoil the rest of the story for them as they had to go home soon.

Cobbwell, flipped through the pages, horrified that that Sebastian was poisoned by his so called friends and leaving a recipe behind for a dish called "Canberra Beef". (made from the flesh of said friend from australia)

This taught her to forever never judge a book by it's cover, a nice cover does not mean a nice story.

First Instance of Magic:

Her first instance of magic occurred while at their ancestral home, a magical house that can be moved around to facilitate their travels. A broom race at the 4th birthday party, in which children ran around with un-charmed brooms between their legs pretending to be wizards or witches. She was losing the race, almost dead last out of breath. Lucrezia was never last, suddenly she shot forward, her broom swept her off the ground to the finish line.

Character Backstory: Aluna grew up surrounded by family. Every year, her aunts, uncles, and cousins would gather at her house for a family reunion. They would fly in all the way from China and Thailand and her cousins would bring Aluna and her sisters sweet treats from Asia and tell them all about Tenusa. Her aunts would all gather in the kitchen with Aluna's mom and whip up a scrumptious feast, while the uncles would play Gobstones and Exploding Snap. Aluna would dance around outside with Nori the cat, and her cousins and sisters would make daisy chains and climb the great willow tree in her backyard. One year, her uncle brought her a sewing machine from Asia. From then on, instead of going out to play, she would stay inside, hunched over the sewing machine. After dinner she would present her cousins with a new stuffed animal. Then, her Auntie Ray would walk to the living room and teach her a new dance. Auntie Ray was a choreographer at a dance studio in Asia, and always taught Aluna dance. When she got older, Auntie Ray taught her violin. Then she would play for her aunt, who would leap and spin across the room. When her Auntie Ray isn't around, Aluna asks her mom to enchant the violin to play by itself. Then she would dance across the room, trying to be as graceful as her Auntie Ray. Her mom and dad always talked about magic and taught Aluna and her sisters all about it, preparing them for Hogwarts. Aluna was overjoyed when she was accepted in, and the only downsides to leaving for Hogwarts was her missing the family reunions.

Born to a muggle father and a pureblood mother, he had an unconventional childhood of running around chasing footballs only to come home to potions and weird-looking books. His mother's presence allowed him to slowly drink in the world of wizardry and to understand his roots, as odd and unfamiliar as they were. A potion-maker, his mother was split between two worlds, returning to a husband whose sole occupations were to write for a newspaper and edit for a publishing house. Her work and her magic were elsewhere, never at home, and Zachary spend a good chunk of his time traveling between her mother's studio, where she would make potions and delight him with bubbles, and their home, where his father spent his life on his laptop.

He grew up with very supportive albeit confused parents who didn't really know what to do with a young growing boy. Zachary never really cared for school and was only ever really interested in more abstract subjects like, for example, astrology or mythology. Always drowning in DVDs and CDs, he spent a good chunk of his time as a child watching things, whether they were movies, shows, documentaries or even music clips. When he wasn't being a little mischievous boy with his friends, he liked bothering his dad about how the world came to be and his mother about why there existed two worlds in one. His curiosity was, of course, never stopped and it grew into an enormous monster inside of his chest always scratching at him to learn, to see and to explore.

Growing up in Glasgow, he was able to enjoy himself quite a lot with friends, after school, and he never lacked any social capacities that allowed him to stray a little from his family life.

The first time he encountered his magic was not really something he cared for. He thought there'd be better uses for it, later on in life, rather than lifting a magazine from the dinner table for no particular reason one night at ten years old, reading a particularly exciting book on the makings of cars. It was inevitable, really, with his mother always asking him if he'd gotten it yet, if anything unusual had happened at school and if there was anything she could do to help him out a little. Not that he was a late bloomer -he didn't think that existed anyway- but his mother, fussy as she was, wanted his future secured and underway as soon as possible.

Her wish was quickly granted thanks to the owl landing on Zachary's day one morning on the balcony of their apartment. His letter arrived quite early, for his mother's standards, which meant nothing really since her standards were always a little flimsy. He did feel relieved not to have to spend the rest of his schooling days in an awfully crowded and stinky middle school in Glasgow, and he felt quite happy to leave mathematics and history behind, although he knew what awaited him on the other side.

- One major aspect of our setting lore is that magic and electronics/electricity cannot coexist in the same space. As such, your mentions of the TV, CDs and DVDs need to be explained so that it is clear they are not being used in the same space as magic. Likewise, this might require an edit to your first instance of magic.

Ever since she was eight, Isla knew she was the perfect daughter—intelligent, restless, and always lost in books. Her sanctuary was the library, the only place where her father's expectations did not overwhelm her. He was a man of ruthless practicality, of meticulous standards, and he had taught her to believe control was the ultimate virtue. Despite all self-control, however, she was helplessly impulsive, acting on instincts that would leave even her breathless.
And then the other thing.
It had begun small. A flick of gold in her brown eyes when sunlight struck them at exactly the right angle. Hair that seemed darker after a reprimand. She tried to tell herself it was nothing. But when her Hogwarts letter came, the changes no longer went away. They stayed.
Her body had become a traitor, and it was creeping its way into madness.
When she pleased her father, her complexion smoothed to ivory perfection, as if carved by his praise. When she displeased her mother, her cheekbones were the same sharp angles, her lips thinner with the same disdain. It was automatic, a withdrawal from flames—without hesitation.".
No one except her own grandmother, the wacky, old woman no one but Isla appeared to grasp. Isla related to her, and yet she didn't know why, didn't even know if her grandmother was so.
The old woman's eyes would lock onto hers over tea, milky eyes hunched, grumbling about the changes in a teasing tone, she knew what she was about, and yet, the old woman never tried to stop it, Isla could swear the old woman's eyes changed color when communicating with eyes, but it was so fast and so fleeting that she was sure.
The mirror couldn't give her any answers, even after she stood in front of it for hours, her face changing and changing back again. Her reflection was sometimes foreign—nose too straight, lips too plump, a piecemeal face assembled from borrowed parts. She'd slap her palms over cheeks and beg them to stay, but the magic churned beneath her skin, hungry, restless.
And there was temptation too.
Alone in the bedroom, she'd let him do it. A stronger jaw. A softer smile. The girl her father wished for her to have. For a moment, it was exhilarating—power coursing through her, beautiful and terrifying.
Then came the terror.
What if I don't remember how to become myself?
What if I've already lost myself?
She tried to stop. But her father's words drifted into her brain: Potential like yours cannot be wasted. And what was worse? She heard him, she heard him, because she had lost the ability to be anyone other than her father's daughter, and pleasing her father became her foremost priority without knowing.

Character Backstory:
Reducio
From the moment she was born, twentieth September 2012, Isla lived in a huge, ancient mansion, all the pomp and wonder of true-blooded wizarding life. Since being carried down to the floors on steady feet, walking was as instinctive as breathing to her: floating candles lighted the corridors, portraits murmured their secrets, and house elves darted around, willing to oblige. Her own was a childhood of privilege, but also of longing, as she sat, captivated, listening to the stories she and her older brother, Ethan, heard of their cousins, and of their adventures at Hogwarts. They spoke of staircases that charmed and of the house's magic, Slytherin, as did every generation before them. They spoke of magical staircases, exciting Quidditch matches and secret passages behind the tapestries.

Although she had not yet visited the castle, she consoled herself with her two close friends, purebloods that they were, whom she knew since they were little girls. They cast simple spells on each other and shared tales of family lore and dreamed about the day that they themselves would board the Hogwarts Express. But since it wasn't a fairy tale, and her closest friends were sisters, and of half-French blood, they went to Beuxbatons, which was a French school, so Isla was the only one who went to Hogwarts, she had adopted it, but was aware that her life at Hogwarts would've been different with them.

When Isla was 8 years old, she had a white teddy bear, a gift from her grandmother. One day, after her brother Ethan snatched it away, she burst into tears, trying to get it back. She was upset, and she started to shout through tears "I wish it could disappear" even though she didn't mean it, if anything happened to that old plushie she would be devastated. After a few more minutes of her shouting that sentence it did, leaving Isla and her brother completely stunned, she didn't want to do that, she never did, and yet somehow she managed to, making everyone in the manor search for it. Three days later, the white bear was found in one of the armoires of the manor, which came to be the oldest one, and the normally closed one.

Your metamorphmagi app is AI according to CopyLeaks. We will need you to provide an application that is of your own work. I did not check the rest of your application once AI was pinged, but please make sure if AI was used to write any part of your application that you write your character in your own words.

This is a follow-up; I can see edits were made to this post. I checked the post for AI and the metamorphmagus does not ping for AI but the backstory does. We use Copyleaks, which does offer a few free scans a day. Please run your edited version through copy leaks until it no longer registers as AI. Here is a link.

Character Backstory: Damien life was mostly normal for the most part, he lived with his mother Evanora Dragonclaw and his father Grant Dragonclaw in London. He usually spent most of the time sitting in the study under the moon light reading about the constellations in the sky or about ancient stories about the Greek gods to past the time. When he wasn’t doing that he would be outside in their garden helping his mother maintain it most specifically her purple rose bush that she took pride in for being able to get it that perfect shade of violet. During the summer time her attend different social events with his family meeting other pure bloods while he was there. Why he hated going to those events he did it to get out of the house for once in awhile. He also went to different places during the summer like the beautiful country side where his family owned a lake house where he would go swim at and at night sit on the roof of the house looking up at the stars. To him that was the best way to enjoy himself, he would sometimes sit in the study and paint different pictures to past the time while his parents were away painting beautiful images of the moon or wide open Fields with sunflowers along it. That was his best paintings he ever painted he believed.
First Instance of Magic: Damien was in the backyard of his house sitting by the garden reading one of his books on Greek mythology when his father came looking for him. “Damien it’s time to stop reading and get dressed we’re going to another event.” His father said while looking at him sternly. “But father! I don’t want to go to another one of those events their so boring and I’m not even allowed to read my book there because some old lady had a issue with it” Said Damien as he hates the fact he wasn’t allowed to read his books anymore. Damien father started to get even more frustrated before signing and looking at him. “Damien it’s not up for discussions go get dressed we’re leaving in a few minutes.” His father said in a stern and commanding tone. Damien who felt a bit rebellious glared at him. “No father I’m sorry but I’m not going!” He yelled as he just looked at him. “Damien-“ His father said before being cut off by Damien. “NO! I refuse to go” Damien said as he closed his book and stomped his foot on the ground. All of a sudden the glass from the second story window shattered falling down onto his father who luckily put a protective shield around himself before the glass fell onto him. Damien stood there shocked as to what happened, noting had hit the window so it just shattered unexpectedly he immediately knew this was his doing with his own magic. He turned to look at his father he looked a bit frustrated before looking at him. “Damien, go get dressed now.” He said his voice losing all of his calmness he had originally. Damien just sighed before walking off upstairs towards his room to get dressed.

Character Backstory: I was adopted at birth by Mark and Rose Hartley when I was a few days old. My birth mom couldn't take care of me, and my father was out of the picture since the day I was born. I was told that my birth father left my mother and me due to a "personal" reason, but I am unsure of what that statement means and what he was truly up to. My adoption has shaped me into becoming a strong leader, ambitious, clever, sly, a kind, caring person, and a good role model. The Hartleys decided to adopt me because at the time, their best friends were my birth parents, Jack and Amy Mackamore; the Hartleys hated to see their friends stuggling and not able to provide properly for me, so when my parents asked them if they would be open to adopting me they immediately answered yes. From the moment I was born, Mrs. and Mr. Hartley had fallen in love with me, making it easy for them to take me on and raise me as their own. Mostly, they have told me my story and what had happened, but I feel something in my gut telling me that they know more, but I'm too anxious to ask. I do not know where my birth parents are, but it does not matter too much. I am very happy and content with where I am. My relationship with my adopted parents is shying away as I grow closer to my brother, Dakota. Still, we have always been super close throughout my whole life. Dakota is my best friend and has helped me since day one. I strive to be like him because he's always looked out for me and assisted in raising me. He is blood-related to the Hartleys and is their only true child. I am the only child they adopted. We lived in a large house (until I arrived at Hogwarts) with my adopted brother and parents. The Hartley family is a Pureblood family that tends to boast about their bloodline. But, I don't feel that that specific behavior is morally just, so since both of my real parents are Purebloods, I can act differently since I am one as well. I prefer and choose to act kindly, not judge someone based on their status or blood, and not boast about my own blood. I believe everyone should be treated equally because we all make mistakes and are from different backgrounds, and that's completely okay! I am currently 11 years old, and I am very excited to attend Hogwarts! My physical description includes my blonde hair, two different colored eyes, one blue and one green. My hair is a light blonde that can look slightly brown or brunette in the Winter but has a beach blonde appearance in every other season. I have faint freckles on my face and perfect 20/20 vision. I am athletic, and I am slightly skinny. I am below average in height and relatively short for my age. I look very feminine, and I almost always have a smile on my face.

The ministry captured both of the birth parents a few weeks after the adoption of Jace Mackamore, now Jace Hartley, after being found doing experimental breeding and illegally breeding basilisks and selling them to dark wizards for 500-700 gold galleons. Jace is unaware of what her parents have done, but due to the press, there is a chance she will one day find out where her parents have been all this time and what crimes they committed. Her parents were sentenced to Azkaban with a 25-year sentence due to the severity of their crimes, along with bargaining with Dark Wizards.

First Instance of Magic: First Instance of Magic: My first instance of accidental underage wandless magic was when I unlocked my brother's locked door. I was 8 years old when I used wandless magic. I attempted to enter my brother's room to take his pet snake to prank my parents, but his room was locked as usual. I heard a slight clicking noise as I tried to jiggle the lock and open it. So I investigated after being taken aback and startled, hoping it wasn't someone watching me who accidentally made a noise. But as I looked around and saw no one, I tried to open the door again, and with one twist, I noticed the door unlocked. I did not mean to use the magic, but when the door opened, I was very excited. So I made sure no one was looking, and I ran into his room, grabbed his snake, and then moved on to the prank. When the prank finished, I told my parents (adopted parents) that I had my first instance of underage wandless magic. They were excited to hear and upset that I opened my brother's room and took his snake for a prank, but the conversation went well overall. (Dakota's pet snake passed away mid-July last year due to old age.
