Kit was fairly certain this was the most saves she had done in a game, although this round would lead to an unfortunate failure as the nimbleness of her broom meant it lacked in passenger space. Luck favored her previously when only one teammate fell at a time, but now Peter and Martín tumbled off their flying sticks- yet Martín was too far on the other side of the pitch by the opposing Keeper for Kit to save, her attention quickly turning to Peter in the practiced motion of rocketing downwards to swoop underneath her teammate with as much grace as could be afforded while falling. She offered a smile in response to his thanks, nodding as she kept her eyes ahead to relocate the passenger-less broom. "Pas de problème." Not a problem/no worries. The Beauxbatons student looked for their Keeper in case she did have a few extra moments, but by then she could only wince at the crash landing. At least the second string got their chance to join the skies.

Everest almost couldn't keep up with the fast pace of the game as his teammates on their brooms — and their opponents — whipped past his seat on the bench. Honestly, he was surprised that the players could keep up so easily with the ongoings around them. He would probably have gotten turned around multiple times already. Everest continued to observe the match carefully, occasionally letting a few whoops or groans slip past his lips.

Now out on the pitch, Kavi kept guard over the goals, remembering his training from his younger years, but allowing himself to have a little bit of fun with some fancy broomwork, enjoying the feeling of the wind on his face and rippling through his robes. He loved Quidditch. On the pitch, he could leave his usual problems behind, ignore them for a slight while, only concerned with what was contained within. Instead of thinking of all the things he had to get done and everything he had to study, he could narrow his focus. Now, he kept his eye on the Quaffle, watching it go by. And... he missed the first goal.

"Get it together, Kattimani," he told himself, shaking it off. It was only the first goal, he had just gotten in. It had been more than a year since he had played the position. But he wouldn't let the next one go.

And that he did not, taking the Quaffle into possession and, with a little trick he learned, using all his force to kick it back. It made contact with the poor kid, sending him off his broom. "Ouch," Kavi murmured to himself. "That had to hurt."

This game was becoming rinse and repeat for Quentin. He would aim his bat at a target, and so far his aim was true. It didn't give a sense of glee to see people get knocked off their brooms, but he did have a sense of satisfaction. He had been training for this sport, and wow, was the training paying off.

He just hoped he stayed on his broom long enough to seem his team win this thing.

If you critically fail with your bludger attempt to hit, rather than having your bludger randomly target another user (including yourself or an ally) the bludger cannot target you on a critical fail (but it can still target your allies). On a retarget, there is a random roll for target and then a fresh accuracy roll.

If the quaffle hits or misses the target, a quafflegrab the next round would be necessary to determine which team has possession of the quaffle again.
