Alegria was born in Doolin, County Clare, Ireland. Her older sisters and their younger brother was born there as well. She spent most of the time in her bedroom when she was young. Always reading a new book. Since Alegria's parents didn't know if she was a witch yet, they didn't didn't tell her about magic. Because of that, Alegria became super close with her dad. She loved stories, and because her dad had grown up with muggle parents, he could tell her almost everything he remembered when he was Alegria's age. Plus, her mom was always busy with Alegria's siblings, especially when her older sisters started homeschooling. They started homeschooling for their first and second grade years. Alegria was homeschooled for her first grade year. But after Alegria's Mom soon realized she couldn't homeschool all of her children, and not liking any of the schools in Doolin, she decided they were moving somewhere else. Alegria had just turned 7 when they moved to Dublin, Ireland. She loved it there. But it was different. She was used to a small town, where you knew almost everyone. But Dublin, Dublin was different. It was so much bigger. It was only a couple months after they moved to Dublin that Alegria's other younger brother, Fionn, was born. She loved Fionn, but between living in a new house, having a newborn baby in the house, her dad not able to help because he was working long hours, and a 4 year old, Jasper, who acted younger than he actually was, it was hard to get some quiet time to do what she wanted. She always was helping out with chores around the house and she could never get a nap in because her younger brothers were always so loud. But a couple months later, in August, it was time for the girls to start school. The house had quieted down in the past couple months. Jasper had finally started act more his age, he was turning 5 soon and he was too excited about that to want to act up. And Fionn had turned into a quiet baby, no longer crying every 10 minutes. Alegria was super nervous to start school. She was afraid that nobody would like her, or that she wasn't going to make any friends because she knew no one in the town. But when she started school, she was pleasantly surprised. Everyone there was sooooo nice. And she even made a new friend after 3 weeks of starting school! But then, a couple years later, something came in the mail. Alegria was 9 and ready to start 4th grade. She would finally be on the same side of the school al her older sisters, Harper and Orla. But the letters her sisters got said that they weren't going to the same school as Alegria. They had gotten their Hogwarts acceptance letters. Alegria was devastated. Especially because after they went to Hogwarts, they weren't interested in playing with Alegria anymore. And she only saw them over Summer break, they always decided to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas. Everything changed though, when Alegria got her acceptance letter, she was so excited to finally be able to go. Her sisters had told her many stories about Hogwarts, and each one made her more excited. Her sisters finally started hanging out with her more. Telling her how mesmerized she would be at Hogwarts. They helped her pack, and buy stuff for school. She finally felt like her sisters cared about her.
First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Alegria was 7 years old when her first instance of magic happened. Her mom had taken her and her siblings to her Grandmother's house so she could take care of the newborn baby without 5 more children. Alegria decided to play the muggle game Guess Who with Jasper. He won the game and Alegria got super angry, and suddenly her Grandmother's favorite plates broke. Alegria wondered what happened, but was too scared to go and tell her Grandmother. Her Grandmother had been upstairs when it happened, and when she came downstairs to see what happened she looked as confused as Alegria did. She asked if anyone did that on purpose. Alegria thought for a couple seconds and then decided she would say that it was her, her Grandmother would have to find out sometime or another. She told her Grandmother that she thought she did it but was confused because she hadn't moved but it happened when she got super angry. Her Grandmother took Alegria upstairs so that they were alone together and told her that Alegria had just then had her First Instance of Magic.
STATUS: Pending, Lesmana, 15 March
Reason for Pending:
1. Since your character is a half-blood, please tell us which one of her parents has a clear muggle ancestry. This post will lead you to further information about blood status.
2. It would be better if the damage in the First Instance of Magic is reduced to one window only because the amount of magic children have would not be that powerful.
3. After you have made the edits, please make sure that the backstory and the first instance of magic in this application and in your Encyclopedia Page are the same.

Zvezda spent the majority of her life in Russia. Her family has always had deep ties to Durmstrang, and growing up, there was an unspoken understanding that Zvezda, like her six siblings, would attend the same school. The superior school.
As she got older, Zvezda's magic stubbornly refused to reveal itself. Her oldest brother Igor showed signs of magic as early as six, but Zvezda was still growing and hadn't even shown the slightest bit of potential. Then she was seven. Then eight. When Zvezda turned ten, her dad finally assumed that she was simply incapable of magic. A Squib. A failure. After all, none of Zvezda's siblings had made it to nine without showing signs of magical capabilities, but she was now ten.
Because of the dangers that she would be incapable of protecting herself from without magic, Zvezda's parents had her sent to live with her maternal grandparents in England because it was deemed safer than the snowy forests in which they lived. Zvezda had no choice, so she went to England carrying the shameful title of Squib.
Now that she lives in England, she misses her family from Russia. She misses asking about Ekaterina's animal handling. She misses seeing Igor's newest scars. She misses playing with Polina in the forests. She misses her mom's attempts to comfort all of them after a particularly strict treatment by her dad, and she even misses her dad's unreasonable expectations. Zvezda likes her grandparents well enough, but it's very lonely being the only child in the house.

Zvezda's first time using magic was mere days after leaving home.
It was a week after her tenth birthday, on her fourth day in England. She missed her home. Terribly. She missed the moonlight reflecting on the snowy hills below most of all. She didn't like England one bit, with its gray skies and near constant rain.
On that night, her homesickness grew especially strong and Zvezda did something she'd never done in her entire life. She wept. She sobbed and cried alone in her bedroom as the rain pattered outside on the roof of her grandparents' home.
Her sobs subsided to slight sniffles when she felt a chill in the air. Lifting her head from her hands, she saw snow drifting down from the ceiling of her bedroom, with each flake dissolving on the floor without leaving water behind. She allowed herself to sit and enjoy the cold just a bit longer than was necessary, and she ended up forgetting to even tell her grandparents about it.
After that day, Zvezda assumed the snow in her room was an enchantment made by her grandparents to make her feel at home, so she was entirely surprised when she received an acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Lesmana Asmaralaya was born on 31 January 1999, when the blue moon shone over the city of Yogyakarta. Wisnu Baswara and Srikandi Wikrama welcomed Lesmana's cry with joy. His birth was celebrated by his relatives and the neighborhood. Wisnu Baswara is a pure-blood native of Indonesia who studies Ancient Runes and the History of Magic, while Srikandi Wikrama is a pure-blood healer who studies the art of potion-brewing in the medical field. They lived comfortably.
Lesmana's facial features began to appear clearer at the age of five. His dark brown eyes and his black hair his hair contrasted with the soft face of this little boy. Everyone loved Lesmana. He always had a smile on his face, as if it had been carved into it. He was also educated under the supervision of his parents. Wisnu played the biggest role in educating Lesmana. The basic knowledge of reading, writing, and arithmetic was all taught by Wisnu diligently. Srikandi also took part in her son's education. She taught her son about nature, about what they could find around them, and how to behave in the face of nature. Srikandi never tired of instilling the values of compassion and affection in her son. She was also the one who taught Lesmana a sense of responsibility and honesty. The little boy would know that he had made a mistake with one sharp look from his mother.
When Lesmana was ten, Wisnu received an offer to teach at his old school, Tenūsa. He took the opportunity and moved his small family from Yogyakarta City to Omah Geni, a village on an island in the Celebes Sea, hidden from the touch of the Muggles. There, he made many friends. He was sociable. He played with everyone. His nature was very much liked by his peers.
Then, when he was old enough to go to school, Lesmana was picked up by a young dukun, and entered a clan. There, he made close friends, Sereia and Eric. He really enjoyed learning many things there. He also found that he was quite talented in Potions and that he enjoyed Ancient Runes classes. Perhaps because of the influence of his parents, Lesmana was skilled in both of these subjects.
After graduating, Lesmana remained at Omah Geni. He entered an apprenticeship in one of the potions research there. He worked on many healing potions projects. After completing his apprenticeship, Lesmana returned to Tenūsa to become one of the nurse there. The healing technique he used while working was mainly potion making, thanks to his mother’s influence. His hands were very skilled in potion brewing and treating the students there. He also helped his father in solving some Ancient Runes.
Until one day, he received a letter from Sereia, his old friend. How happy he was to hear from her. The last news from Sereia was that she went with Eric to London. He was surprised that Sereia was also a Professor in Divination. He was even more surprised that Eric preferred the Muggle pathway. He continued reading the letter until the part about the job opening at Hogwarts. Lesmana was very interested in the vacancy. How could he not be? He could broaden his horizons and meet his old friend at the same time. However, he also felt heavy-hearted to leave Omah Geni. The village had become a part of his life. He came to his parents to discuss this job vacancy. Wisnu and Srikandi only said that they respected whatever Lesmana decided. After thinking long enough, he replied to Sereia's letter and prepared to go to Scotland, where Hogwarts stood. He resigned from his job as the Nurse in Tenūsa.
Lesmana was lucky. His father has connection in U.K. that has a simple house in the wizarding part of Swanton Morley. Since their family moved, no one lived in the house. They offered Lesmana to take care of the house. He accepted and lived there.

Wisnu's extended family often held gatherings on big days. At that time, the children were running around, chasing each other happily. Lesmana, as the youngest generation of the family, also played with them. The four-year-old boy ran happily with his relatives with his tiny feet. When everyone was tired, they all sat under a tree. All the children joked around with each other. Lesmana was so entertained by his older relatives that he laughed out loud and blew out lots of colorful bubbles under the reflection of the sunlight. Seeing this, the parents greeted him happily, especially Wisnu and Srikandi. Wisnu approached Lesmana and lifted him up, making the boy laugh even more and causing even more bubbles to appear.

Rhea was born into the old pureblood family of the Doetails. Her family’s estate is known for its rotten orchards, hidden in a vast labyrinth of gardens where her grandfather, a well known and respected Auror, taught her to tend to the venomous plants and helped her learn an important lesson - any danger can be handled, as long at it is carefully observed, understood and handled. His death when she was six severed her last connection to true warmth and understanding. Her parents—an uninterested father concerned only with political clout and a cold mother overly insistent on Occlumency drills—aimed to raise a weapon, not a daughter. By eleven, she’d enclosed herself in a veil of ice, burying deep any traces of vulnerability and relying solely on herself.
Rhea knows what she wants, and she is willing to bend the rules to get it. The loss of her grandfather instilled a need to regain control over life, a ruthless place full of darkness as she saw it now; to be a player, not prey. She finds it hard to connect with people, resorting almost solely to practical interactions related to studies and chores, strategically using them to appear social. She still does form strong bonds, even if one-sided, with those she deems “hers” - an old house elf of the name Mossey, and a big noble tomcat living in the mansion who somehow reminds her of her grandfather. She is ready to confront anyone who might harm them through calculated, jarringly cold directness.
All in all, she is a girl who uses the walls she's built around herself as a shield, guarding herself against hurt and control, while not allowing anyone to hold her back from achieving her dreams. Her ambition to become a skilled Auror like her grandfather one day isn’t for the simple joy of achievement, but much more to build a world where less people will suffer the loss she did. And to carry on his legacy.

At age seven, while exploring her family’s vast acres of orchards, Rhea came across a venomous Snargaluff pod in one of the greenhouses that had broken free of its restraints. Out of nowhere, it lunged at her favourite tomcat who had decided to accompany her for a walk that day. Her heart leaped and without thinking, she extended her arm in the way, hoping to protect her pet even if she got hurt herself. The Snargaluff’s vines stiffened mid-air just inches from her skin almost as if time had stopped; small crystals of frost quickly spread all over them, freezing the vines in place like icy tentacles. The tomcat (Rhea never thought to come up with a name for him. It just felt right to call him Tomcat) hissed and fled, never the wiser as to what had startled him. Needless to say, her parents saw this as a great reason to organise an official dinner and formally celebrate their daughter's first display of magic. Rhea received a generous pat from her father and a solemn nod from her mother.

The Doetails have used their estate's orchards to nurture poisonous plants and animals for centuries. These would feed on the fruits falling from the old trees of the orchards and on the animals drawn by the eerie quiet. Then, the Doetail family would collect the vast variety of poison, using it to brew potions and supply ingredients for various apothecary shops around the wizarding world. The shade provided by the gardens and the scent of dark, fertile soil proved to be the exact thing most toxic magical creatures felt drawn to, but it wasn't the sole thing calling to them.
With her strawberry-blonde hair and pale green eyes, Rhea is a splitting image of Amarantha Doetail, her 5th great-grandmother. Perhaps one of the few Parselmouths known for her contributions to society, the pureblood witch had healed many people during times of plague with the potions she prepared from snakes' venom. Over the next generation however, her descendants felt forced to reduce her memory to a mere potions master due to the ill fame surrounding those speaking the language. Furthermore, the magical talent lay dormant for generations until it resurfaced in Rhea. The only memories pointing at the truth remained hidden in the mansion, a secret entrusted to the care of the oldest house elf Mossey. Some hints can still be noticed in the tapestries adoring the mansion's main hall, if one had an observant eye and a questioning mind: faded like ghosts, curling around the golden frame of Amarantha's portrait, intertwine three pale serpents - once dark green, now mostly turned greyish with the wear of time. Their faces are all turned to their her, attentive and as if replying themselves, small tongues flicked out. The other hint is to be found in the golden antler medallion Amarantha possessed, which now rests around Rhea's neck six generations later - a barely noticeable serpent can be seen, coiled around the antlers.
Rhea's very first words in Parseltongue were uttered before her first instance of wandless magic. Ironically, it happened the same day she was forever deprived of her only true friend that she discovered a means to forge a lifelong connection with new ones. Six years old, kneeling down in front of her grandfather's grave, she dug her fingers into the rock, dark clots of soil until her nails split. Unannounced, a viper slithered over and flicked its forked tongue, tasting her blood. Rhea didn't move as she watched it through the silent mist of tears in her eyes. It pressed its cool head against her palm, and she heard a faint voice, "You are alone. So am I." Without thinking, she hissed back quietly, "Don't go." The viper seemed to understand, because it didn't move for a long beat. Then, it coiled around her wrist like a living bracelet and fell asleep.
Ever since that day, Rhea found some kind of solace in the company of the cool, secretive beasts. They would sense her presence as she passed by the stone walls of the mansion or the small creek that winds around it, and would peek their heads out of their hiding spots even just to glance at her. Some would talk, occasionally, if she stopped by to watch them back herself. Others would like to slither up her arm when she reached out, especially in the autumn when the days got cooler and the heat of her skin provided some much appreciated warmth. Rhea wondered if she was like a sun to them, by the way they sought her out more as the days got cloudy and the sky heavy with the scent of coming rain. She felt like they were her sun too, sometimes. Making her days somehow warmer and less lonely, when she felt most cold.

STATUS: Pending, Lesmana, 16 March
Reason for Pending:
1. From the back story, please tell us more about "speaking with plants". Currently, our lore doesn't have anything about speaking with plants.
2) From the First Instance of Magic, you wrote about "stopping time". The first instance of magic shouldn't be that strong. I suggest you to change it to just stop the plant to avoid the confusion.
3) The requirement for the special race is 500 words minimum, while yours is still 338 words. Please tell us more about Rhea's parselmouth. Perhaps you could tell about who's in her ancestry has this ability. We don't allow the use of canon character, so please remove Herpo the Foul from the application. You can write that her grand grand parents have this ability.
4. The trunk must be in the next post. To do it, you can put it in the empty box at the bottom of your encyclopedia page. Your trunk alsos cannot contain font colour. This thread would lesd you to further information on the standardized trunk coding rules.

Thea was born on 4 May 2013 as the only daughter of the wizard Charles Belville and the Muggle woman Dorothy Bellville near Weymouth.
Her parents met on a hike. (It would later turn out that Charles had an accident with his broom and literally crash-landed on the mountain Dorothy was climbing with friends). Naturally, Dorothy was surprised at the news that her husband was a wizard after their wedding, but she took the news surprisingly calmly. Her parents are still happily married and her mother knew before she was born that it was possible that her daughter could become a witch. As a result, it was not a big issue at home and Thea took levitating household appliances for granted, as well as knowing and categorising classic fairy tales and terms from the magical world.
To prevent Thea from talking about magic at school and giving away her father's secret, Thea was taught at home. Despite everything, she made friends because her parents had a large group of friends who were magical couples with children. This allowed Thea to grow up with other children from an early age, socialising and interacting with other children. She was also able to build up a circle of friends and establish regular contact and relationships with other children.
Before Thea was officially allowed to attend Hogwarts, but it was certain that she was a witch, her father had already told her a lot about the school and she can hardly wait to explore the castle and the grounds herself. The countryside in particular has always been described beautifully by her father, who, like his daughter, loves being out in nature. Thea is therefore particularly looking forward to the lessons that take place there and hopes to be able to do her homework by the lake in the summer.

Although her parents were aware of the possibility that Thea, like her mother, might not be magically inclined, her mother and father hoped she was a witch. They were therefore always on the lookout for small signs, but they didn't appear until she was almost eight years old. Thea's first spell consisted of blowing up a chocolate cake before going to bed after a tantrum because she was denied a piece of it. (She was denied the piece because her mum had prepared the cake for her birthday the next day. That's a piece of information she likes to withhold when telling the story.)

First Instance of Magic:Christina lives together with her father, mother and her little sister. Her father is a pure-blooded wizard who works for the Ministry, while her mother is a muggleborn who works as a Muggle nurse. Her little sister, Anna, is one year younger than herself.
As a child, Christina and her sister were mostly raised in the muggle world, due to their mother working in a muggle hospital. This meant that they went to muggle school and had mostly muggle friends. Even though Christina wasn't raised in the magical world, she was raised with lots of magic influences thanks to her father. He taught her about the wizard lifestyle and wizard politics, so that she wouldn't lack behind once she started at Hogwarts.
In her free time, Christina mostly liked to hang out with her friends, go to the mall and keep up with her studies. When she wasn't doing any of those things, she was mostly doing muggle sports. She had a fascination for moving her body, so she has played lots of sports like tennis, hockey, football, etc. However, she mostly liked to run.
Christina was very excited when she got her Hogwarts letter. Even though she was kind of sad, having to leave her muggle life behind during the school years, she welcomed this new chapter with open arms, and couldn't wait to learn all about the world of magic.

The first time Christina used accidental magic was when she was eight. She was playing tennis with her sister, when she accidentally hit the ball back too hard for her sister to counter it. Fearing that the ball was going to hit her, Christina somehow managed to stop the acceleration and the ball fell on the ground, saving her sister from a hard impact.

Born on May 30, 2014, Clarke learned the ways of the wizarding world from a young age. Both her father and mother worked at the Ministry of Magic in the Department of International Magical Cooperation and her 18 year old brother, Tripp, started working in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes in 2025. Her friends, Oriole and Aven, both live in Dublin and they have all been friends from a young age. Her parents don't try to spend time with Clarke at all and since they both have a lot of work with the Ministry, they get Tripp to take care of her when she is not at school. She lives in a small, cozy house in the middle of town which causes a little bit of effort to prevent the muggles from noticing anything strange coming from her house. She went to a prep school in Dublin where she learned to read, write, and do basic math and this is also where she met her friends. She likes to watch Quidditch games in her spare time as well as read many books. Clarke has been wounded by the fact that her parents never want to spend time with her and that causes her to feel an empty place in her heart. She tries to not let it bother her, but sometimes, she just wishes that they would pay her a little more attention. She understands that work takes up most of their time and tries to justify this behaviour by that fact.

Clarke, at the age of 9, was hanging out with her friends in the forest nearby when she thought she saw a lynx in the bushes. She was so scared that she lighted the bushes on fire without thinking about it. At first, the girls were frightened, but when they realized it was her first instance of magic, they were super excited.

13th March, 2013 was a joyous day for Artemis Bloodthorn née Nightmist and Drakon Bloodthorn, as they welcomed the newest member of their family, Violence Bloodthorn, to the Bloodthorn mansion in Lavenham, England. The mansion stood atop a small hill, overlooking an artificial lake surrounded by large trees. The mansion had anything and everything Violence could ever want, but she preferred to spend her time near the lake; the water had always calmed her in an unnatural way.
Artemis, a renowned potioneer, chose to retire before Violence’s birth, preferring to raise the child herself. Drakon, however, remained dedicated to his work as an Auror, yet he always ensured that he set aside time for Artemis and Violence, never allowing his duties to completely overshadow his family. Apart from the love of her parents, she was also spoiled by her maternal grandparents. Naturally, her room was filled with all sorts of toys and games, which she enjoyed with her two best friends, Avina Graveheart and Damon Blackwell.
Artemis wanted Violence to have Muggle schooling, since she considered it a very important foundation for learning anything, but was opposed by Drakon. However, they finally decided on getting Violence home-schooled, and so Violence knew the basics of muggle subjects, and also how muggles operated, since her tutor had no idea that the Bloodthorns were a family of magical lineage. In one of their lessons, her tutor mentioned music. Violence was intrigued and wanted to learn more, and so, in a few years, she was quite skilled for an eight-year-old in piano.
The first time Violence showed that she had magical powers was when she was four years old, and Artemis and Drakon were both happy beyond measure. Since then, Artemis had started introducing Violence to magical subjects like Potions, Transfiguration, etc. Teaching Violence basic theory about these quickly became her favourite thing to do in the mansion, and Violence was lost in this dreamy world where she felt she could be herself. Her evenings, however, were spent with her father and countless stories of their ancestors and family lineage.
The day she turned eleven was the day the family owl, Sage, swooped in through the window and dropped a letter sealed in red ink in Artemis’s hand. She knew what it was at once and her eyes shone with happiness, as she gave it to Violence to read for herself. Violence read through her acceptance letter at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and leaped into her mother’s arms, screaming with joy.
And thus began her magical journey at Hogwarts.

At the age of four, Violence accidentally performed magic while feeling frustrated with her homework. She wanted to learn about more potions, not complete the mathematics homework. As she pouted and crossed her arms, a soft breeze began to swirl around the room, lifting the papers off the table and sending them fluttering through the air, making a mini hurricane. As they settled back on the table, she noticed to see all her homework completed. As she stared in awe, Artemis, who was sitting just beside her, quickly noticed. She calmly explained that she had just used magic without a wand, while Drakon smiled knowingly. This moment confirmed what they already knew—she was a witch, sparking a sense of wonder about the magical world awaiting her.

ReducioYuki had never noticed the strange aura emanating from her mother, Adelaïde.
Of course, she knew that many people found her fascinating, beyond her extraordinary beauty. There was something mesmerizing about her mother, which drew in anyone who met her. She could silence an entire room just by walking in.
Adelaïde was a gorgeous woman, with smooth, fair skin and bright green eyes. She had a delicate, perfectly shaped face. Her eyebrows were straight and thin, dark brown, and her hair was a very dark brown. Her lips were thin and pink.
Yuki is the one who inherited most of her mother's genes, from her bright, clear eyes to her fair skin and pink lips. She also inherited her father's light brown hair.
For the moment, Yuki's charm is not yet detectable, she knows nothing about who she is or how to approach this part of herself. But if you look closely, she always got more sweets from adults when she was a little kid and people would usually forgive her quicker than usual...
Adelaïde was a confident woman who knew what she wanted. The only person she seemed gentler around was her husband, Archie. There was no denying that she loved him with a love that would withstand any storm.
What Yuki didn't know was that her mother wasn't really a witch. At least, not entirely. Adelaïde was a Veela. One of those beings renowned for their charming appearance and their immense beauty. But she had never told her daughter about it. Adelaide's parents, or Yuki's grandparents, were Veelas who hated wizards. Why? We don't know.
Adelaïde was always convinced that they wanted to preserve a pure Veela line, without any trace of wizards. She herself was the product of a Vodyanoy father and a Veela mother, making her one hundred percent Veela. Yet she did not want to rely on these stupid constraints. Should love be limited to a single drop of blood? It meant nothing to Adelaide.
That's why she went against her parents' wishes. And one day... she fell in love with one of her family's enemies. Archie Delmotte, the most handsome wizard she had ever seen.
They fell in love. He proposed to her, but her parents opposed it. No wizards.
So she ran away with him one night, leaving behind a note, her family, and her memories. She never wanted to hear from them again.
Later, when she had her first child, Brian, and then her daughter, Yuki, she gave them as much love as she could. But sometimes, even blood ties can't keep secrets.
When her eldest child turned sixteen, Adelaide revealed her identity and the story she had wanted to keep hidden. Brian promised not to reveal anything, but because he was very close to Yuki, he still feels uncomfortable around her. The girl is still young, and her parents think it's too soon to tell her everything.
Of course, Adelaïde Delmotte knows she can't keep her hard secret hidden from her own daughter all her life. But for now, she can't bring herself to do it.
One day, she will. Or else, Yuki will find out long before then.
Character Backstory: 328 words.
Born on a calm and sunny Sunday in February, Yuki is a sunny and rather friendly young girl. At least, when you get to know her.
From the outside, she can seem particularly cold or distant. But she isn't. Concerning her personality, Yuki is a curious and intelligent girl. She loves learning new things and understanding how they work. She is quite confident and, above all, extremely endearing. She is also very mature and rather reserved; always very calm. With her friends, she is understanding, empathetic, and always gives good advice. She is also direct, while remaining tactful and calm. She hates hypocritical or manipulative people and swears by trust, honesty, and loyalty.
Physically speaking, Yuki is a young beautiful girl with blue eyes that turn green in the sun and brown hair. Her hair is long and wavy, light brown in color. She has fair skin, dotted with freckles on her nose and cheeks, and thin pink lips. Her brown eyebrows are straight and thin, and her nose is slightly upturned. She is 1.45 meters tall and of average build. Her eyes are very expressive. She is also very athletic, having been swimming and dancing since she was young.
She is the daughter of Adelaide and Archie Delmotte, two respectable wizards who are just as humble as she is. Both wizards, her parents fell in love when they met at a wizarding event. They instilled the values of modesty and humility in their daughter. Yuki is a well-behaved child, almost too well-behaved in their eyes. She has never opposed them, and when she does, she doesn't question their opinions.
Yuki also has an older brother, Brian, who is also a wizard in the Hogwarts house. Before her first year, she rarely saw him except during the holidays.
She had a fairly normal childhood and went to wizarding elementary schools. This period wasn't a good experience for the girl because children thought she and her parents were weird.
First Instance of Magic: The first manifestation of her witch identity took place on a beautiful summer day. Yuki was six years old and was sitting on the ground playing when she pulled a flaming yellow sunflower out of the ground. Her mother, who was by her side, realized then that she was a witch.

Hi, Yuki! I have a few things I need from you to move your application along. Please see below:
1. The backstory you have here is not included in your encyclopaedia page, please make sure it is added.
2. Species is missing from your encyclopaedia page. In Yuki's case, this will be Part-Veela.
3. First Instance of Magic is missing from your encyclopaedia page, please make sure it is added.
4. In your backstory you have mentioned that Yuki attended muggle school but given that both of your parents are magical you would have to provide reasonable context for your parents having enough knowledge to do this. Electronics do not work in the wizarding world so they could not be contacted by phone if you were sick or in emergencies and you would not have the internet for homework and such so it cannot simply be a single sentence if you want to keep that part. There are wizarding community schools in our lore linked here that may work better.
4. In your Veela application you have eluded to your grandparents and wider family both being full Veela but still producing a half-veela heir. This is not possible in our current lore which can be found here. Male Veela are called Vodyanoy and a union between two of these creatures would only ever result in a Veela or Vodyanoy so your mother could not be a half breed born from them. A human and a veela will always produce a half-veela so for your mother to be part witch she must have a human of part-veela father.
