The reading came from Genesis 38! The whole chapter, so just skim and read through that story lol.

So the story is basically about Judah and Tamar. So Judah ends up with 3 sons, first Er, 2nd Onan and last son was Shelah.Er was supposed to marry this lady called Tamar. But then Er was wicked, so God took his life. Then since Onan was the second born, he was supposed to marry Tamar. Onan was given instructions to have a child with Tamar so that Er would have an heir. But Onan said nah and didnt get her prego, so the Lord took his life too. Then Judah told Tamar to go back to her fathers crib to chill until Shelah was old enough to marry Tamar. But years passed and Judah didnt offer a marriage proposal. Then one day, Judah was passing by some place with his friend when he saw a prostitute. This was actually Tamar in disguise. So blah blah details here (go read it yall!! its kinda funny lol). Tamar is prego with Judahs child. So then more deets here and I THINK U GET IT.

What this lil story is saying is, obey the Lord. He knows the plans for us, plans to make us prosper, so why disobey??? Like dont follow your own thinh cause God knows what hes doing, we dont. Do NOT give into the flesh and temptation, instead follow his righteousness and we too can achieve it. Just trust. As philipians 4:13 says, "i can do all things through christ who strengthens me." CHRIST WILL STRENGTHEN US! We are unstopable in His goodness.
