Sebastian, having grown up with his dad, strikingly handsome and a heartthrob in countless muggle magazines, known for having many - beautiful- lovers, never realized that he was different from any other nepo-baby to successful parents. Sebastian was rich by association, as well as a stunning child. He’d heard so countless times, by strangers and relatives gushing over his appearance. Because of this, he’d always been favored, without really trying. Inevitably, one may think, considering his genes. How could he not be stunning when his parents were literal beauty symbols? After hearing about himself being ‘perfect’, so many times, Sebastian wholeheartedly believed it to be true. At this point, he expected to be treated like royalty! In muggle school, the teachers let him slack off with homework. People always gave him the best seat in the classroom, as well as gave him their stuff if he ever was missing something. He’d never been teased for anything, let alone bullied, and anytime his comfort had been challenged, there was always someone there to provide.

His mother hadn’t been present in his childhood, but the few times they had met, he remembered her as the most beautiful woman in the world. With silver-blonde hair and striking height only seen in supermodels. While not rare to him, considering the environment he lived in, it was rare in general. Not only because he was her son, and as an impressionable little kid, naturally thought of his mother as beautiful— but she was. And it became obvious that something was different the first time he actually spent time with her.

It was rare, considering she lived… well, he didn’t actually know where she lived, except that it was in another country. In fact, he didn’t know much about her at all, except that his dad had been absolutely infatuated with her. Love(lust) at first sight, and had all but gone mad just to have her. If only for a fleeting moment. It didn’t last that long, since she left him as soon as she birthed Sebastian. Anytime he asked about their relationship, his dad claimed that he couldn’t really remember where it all went wrong. Hell, he could barely even tell him what he loved about her in the first place, except the obvious: her appearance and allure. However, when he asked his grandma or anyone else who had the pleasure to be around during their wild romance, she said he’d been ‘sick’ for a while after it ended. Sebastian, puzzled, wondered what that could mean? Whatever it was, clearly it had taken a toll on him to lose her.

The first time she was back in town and took some time out of her day to spend time with her son, Sebastian couldn’t help but notice the effect she had on everyone around her. People went out of their way to help her with the most mundane tasks. She wasn’t just the most beautiful woman in the world to him, but she turned heads wherever she went. It was… weird… seeing everyone stare at his mom, trying to win her approval and attention. But at the same time, could he blame them?

He’d glanced up at her towering frame then, seeing his mom in another light. Breathtaking, and a bit frightening. There was something… unnatural about her.

Though Sebastian and his dad is not aware of his mothers full ancestry and Veela dna, she is 85% veela and 15% wizard. One of her grandparents were of full magical blood, passed down to Sebastian.

Character Backstory:
Reducio
Sebastian grew up as an only child, with his model and actor dad. His mother and father were never married; Sebastian was merely a result of a passionate love affair and they never had anything serious. There was never any ill feelings between them, and Sebastian had an awesome relationship with his dad, who was his main care taker, and an good-ish relationship with his mother. They don't meet as often since she lives in another country. Despite this, Sebastian had never lacked any 'mother figures' in his life. It's a running joke that his dad is married to someone new every 6 months. The ladies are always nice, but he never gets too close to them since they never stay that long anyway.

While Sebastian never lacked any affection, from both family and people around him, growing up among show-biz people were unpredictable. They have moved around frequently, from San Fransisco where he was born, to Rome, before settling in England. That's where he happened to show his first signs of magic at 6, and they stayed for Sebastian to pursue wizarding education. Still, it can be weeks or months when his father is gone on set and other modelling gigs, so Sebastian is taken care of by nannies or other women that are present at the moment.

Sebastian himself has been featured in a few muggle ads.

Maybe as a result of this lifestyle, Seb is laid-back, unbothered(about everything except his appearance and ego), unfazed and entitled. Sebastian never had to work for anything in his life, always getting everything served on a silver platter, whether he's asking for it or not. At this point, he just expects to be treated that way, and does not like to compromise this luxury comfort.

First Instance of Magic: His affiliation for magic was news to both Sebastian, and his muggle father. His mother had apparently forgotten to mention that detail before she left. Nevertheless, they were both excited when Seb showed his first signs of magic, when he was 6 and accidentally made his own hair blonde, after admiring himself for too long in the mirror. Safe to say, they had an interesting phone call to make, after that.

Ireland was the country of Adaryn’s birth. She spent her first few years there and then moved to England at age five, which is also around the time that her family shifted. The family relocated because Adaryn’s father received an opportunity to work as a team member for researchers examining unusual magical plants, and this required a move to a new place. Adaryn adjusted well to the move because her family was very loving and helped her feel comfortable in the new place.

Adaryn’s father is a gentle and kind man who works as a magical botanist, and his name is Lucas Misfit. His calm nature has gotten him a lot of appreciative helpers, and Adaryn is one of them. She has been fond of nature since childhood and her father’s work certainly helps nurture her passion. Adaryn’s mother Eleanor Misfit was a witch healer working in St Mungos. She is a witch, but comes from a family of Muggles. Because of this, Adaryn knows what it feels like to live in both worlds.

Adaryn has a younger sister named Alita who was four years old when Adaryn received her Hogwarts letter. The sisters are very close, but Alita is very energetic which often overshadows Adaryn's calmer tendencies. Nonetheless, Adaryn still cares for her sister. She takes pleasure in reading her stories about fantastical creatures before bed time.

The scent of freshly baked bread along with laughter filling the house made her home life warm and welcoming. She would hear stories about Hogwarts from her grandparents, which made her further excited for the magical world.

Even though Adaryn is quite shy, she still had a few close friends from the small magical community she grew up in. A majority of her childhood was spent at home with her parents and exploring nature or playing with her Kneazle/cat mix named Moonlight. She sometimes felt a bit lonely, but was looking forward to attending Hogwarts and exploring the world of magic.

First Instance of Magic -
Reducio
During the afternoon while being at home, Adaryn witnessed her first magical occurrence when she was around seven years old. She attempted to build a little castle for her pet Kneazle/cat mix that was named Moonlight by stacking together books, but to her disappointment, no matter how she arranged the books, they piles always fell.

Trying to contain her aggravating frustration, Adaryn chose to remove off the books that looked like were high risk of beating. She then proceeded to loosen her grip on the books while thrusting her arms in the air with much annoyance.

Next, what happened completely astonished her.

Blow where the these books started levitating in a perfect U-tarn, it seems as though Adaryn was completely transfixed. The lamp Adaryn had began to flicker as her neighboring lamp started to rotate in a continuous motion tossing the space into complete disorder. An overwhelming amount of energy surrounded the space, Adaryn’s mother’s loose papers began floating away while her Moonlight began to Yowl as she jumped to a shelf trying to escape this madness.

“What on earth did I just do” Adaryn shouted while she could feel her heart racing.

Her mother, who had been strolling past the doorway, prepared herself as she stepped inside, wand in hand, ready to control the floating objects. As she lowered the books to the ground, she glanced around to see the state of the room and then settled her sights on Adaryn, a smirk dancing on her lips.

“Well,” she said, brushing a paper off her sleeve, “that’s one way to handle frustration.”

Adaryn’s mind started racing the minute she locked sights with her mother and the disheveled books lay around her. Had she really done that?

A mix of excitement and nervousness was intertwined within her. She was surprised by how sudden the feeling of loss of control was.

Although making it happen again proved fruitless, the feeling stayed with her: the worry of never being able to understand her magic again and the wonder of this magic and everything it promised at Hogwarts came crashing down on her at once.

- Please add a bit about Adaryn's pre-Hogwarts education.

- Additionally, could you please specify a bit about her pet? She won't be able to bring him to Hogwarts as we have a separate pet system, but he can still exist at her home! However, you mentioned him as a 'Kneazle' in quotes — is he a full Kneazle? If so, could you edit that out? If not, what is he a mixture of?

Haley is petite and slightly shorter than most of her peers at 4'4". She has long, red, wavy hair, fairly pale skin, and green eyes. She has scattered freckles of varying size along her arms, but an otherwise clear complexion.

Haley has unmatched energy and spunk, especially when something piques her interest. She has always enjoyed learning, whether it was magical subjects from her father or basic arithmetic in school. Despite having a good memory, she worries about forgetting things and doodles notes anywhere and everywhere - on schoolbooks, scraps of parchment, and even her hands if she doesn't have anything else on hand. She has boundless curiosity and relentless determination when she sets her mind to something. This has led her to be occasionally reckless, although her goal isn't to be make trouble. She has a naturally cheerful disposition, usually brushing herself off quickly if things don't work out the way she hoped. She feels somewhat insecure about her magical abilities manifesting late and fears she might not be "magical enough". She has a strong desire to be liked, which causes her to sometimes overcompensate by being too enthusiastic and hyper. She has a predilection for potions, likely the result of having scientific minded parents, and has a collection of random potion ingredients all over her room in little jars or pouches.

Haley grew up with her mother and father in Richmond. She has a brother, who is two years younger than her, named Hayden. Her mother Emma is muggle-born. She is a scientist currently working in pharmaceuticals. She values education and therefore insisted that Haley attend primary school to learn "properly". Her father Richard is a wizard and attended Hogwarts. He is employed by the Ministry of Magic. He specializes in Potions and currently works for the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes.

First Instance of Magic:

Haley spent her days in primary school, wondering if she would get to go to Hogwarts like her father, or if this was going to be her permanent life. She often felt internally conflicted. Although she did not dislike her current circumstances, she did feel a longing for a deeper connection with her father through magic. This turmoil was exacerbated by the fact that she never displayed any magical talent as a young child. It wasn't until she was nine years old that her first instance of magic occurred. She was sent home to do a science project for the science fair. As it was one of her favorite subjects, Haley wanted to do something unique, but her mother more-or-less insisted that she do a simple volcano project. They had built the base for the "volcano" and her mother told her to wait while she gathered the rest of the needed supplies. Haley grew impatient, already frustrated with doing this cliché project. Why couldn't she use some of her father's potions supplies? Of course, she knew that magic needed to be kept secret, but then why not go to her mother's lab and do something really crazy? As she stared at the inactive volcano lump, she angrily wished she could make it erupt fireworks. Before she could blink, the volcano began to tremble, gently vibrating on the table. A plume of thick, shimmering smoke emerged from the volcano opening, immediately followed by an upward explosion of sparks shifting between hues of violet, green, and blue. Her mother furiously stormed back into the room, demanding to know what Haley was doing to create such a ruckus. Eyes wide, her mother grew still as she realized the inevitable had finally happened. As the initial fear and shock faded, Haley realized the significance of what just transpired. The science project didn't matter anymore. She was in fact a witch and she was in fact going to get to go to Hogwarts.

Jabari, despite his rather cheerful nature, was not blessed with a happy upbringing. When he was young, and before his magic could ever manifest, his tribal village was targeted by another tribe in an act of civil war during the night. His father, who he was not even gifted his name, had perished from the conflict. Jabari and his mother barely escaped and hid in nearby villages. Unfortunately, his mother would eventually succumb to a muggle illness. Her final words telling him to always look towards the stars, for she would be there watching him.

On that same, fateful day, Jabari would notice a new star that formed in the night sky. This caused Jabari's belief that all stars in the sky were those of the deceased watching over the living.

This would leave Jabari defending for himself for a few days after, still in grief while fighting amongst other orphans for scraps and Tanzanian shillings all at the age of seven. As if the stars aligned properly, a woman would appear for Jabari. A pale woman covered with a long-brimmed, straw hat, dim robes and heavy, thick 'sun-glasses' would come across him. Other orphans ran away in fear while Jabari stayed in a haze of confusion and curiosity. She would be his newly, adoptive mother (by the name of Zahra) that he would take tribal residence with amongst many other children and women until his acceptance into Uagadou.

The adoptive tribal village is women-run and located in Kenya. There are no men and only young boys. This tribe is known as Mwanamke (link to more information on the tribe), the name meaning "woman" in Swahili. It is filled with women who can cast magic, and those who can't. The tribe is meant for those escaping from conflicts and witchcraft accusations. Zahra, Jabari's adoptive mother, is an albino witch. Albinism, despite being uncommon in western civilizations, are quite common in sub-Saharan Africa. Due to stigma, they are heavily discriminated against. Tanzania is amongst the highest in nations in having documented people with albinism.

During his time at Uagadou, Jabari became talented in multiple classes and sports. He would end up graduating with flying colors abet with a track record of disciplinary issues, only to turn off to becoming a nomad who traveled throughout Africa until his new residency at the African Great Lakes.

In a form of a joke to himself, he heard of an opening occurring for Uagadou and decided to apply to see where that leads him. Who in their right minds would accept a non-experienced wizard who got bored at everything and anything that came into his eyesight anyway?
First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
In his newly adoptive tribe, Jabari would help the women more with chores rather than take to playing with his peers. Mostly out of concern for his adoptive mother's health, along with getting 'rewards' for his help that was issued in treats and first helpings of the meals for the day. One day, surrounded by women at the age of eight, Jabari was working on weaving a basket with dried grass. A threaded grass piece ripped, causing Jabari to experience a new, unsettling emotion he couldn't describe correctly. He panicked, and amid his panic, the grass somehow was repaired by a single touch of his hand. The women watched in astonishment as his adoptive mother gave him a loving embrace along with a few other women.

Despite the cheerful atmosphere, Jabari couldn't help but experience guilt over the loss of his birth mother. If this 'special ability' manifested earlier; if he could've saved what he lost.

Backstory:

She was born in Ireland, but was moved to England when she was young to be closer to family, specifically her aunt on her mothers side. Since her parents work office jobs they are usually away, so they needed someone to care for her. Rachel was well off financially, but she was never really understood by her parents. They just wanted her to grow up and be a doctor or a lawyer, they loved her and wanted "what was best" but she always felt pushed or pulled in one direction or another. She loved to walk in the woods behind her back yard and read books her parents called "fairy tales" Her aunt, however, seemed to understand her more then anything. Anytime she was upset she talked to her aunt and she would start talking about stories she wore were true, and she would feel better.

She didn't make friends very easily and was often singled out and bullied. It never got physical, except for the few shoves or paper balls thrown at her. Shed usually never retaliate, trying to stay nice, but she did have a singular incident(after she got her magic)where she punched a kid getting her grounded for a month.

It wasn't until she was 8 that she first learned she had magic at all, as it turns out, though her parents may have been muggles, her aunt was a muggle born witch as well. Things didn't get any better with house life though, now that she knew she had magic, her parents were stricter then ever before, no going out other then school, no more going to the woods, her parents nearly banned stories scared Rachel would try one of the things she read and get hurt, or hurt someone else. The only reason they even let her go to Hogwarts was her aunt assured them it was safe, after all she had gone there (with a lot of convincing).

First Instance of magic:
Reducio
It all happened near her 8th birthday, right after maybe a couple days to a week, she cant remember. She was with her aunt, for the first time in a while, (she was on a vacation somewhere so she was told, but in reality it was a job in the wizarding world that her aunt had,). It was later at night, right as the sun went down and the stars were first coming out. She told her aunt about a really bad day at school, how tired she was of being bullied and feeling like she had no friends, and then her aunt started telling her a story about the stars, and the sky. As her aunt talked the sadness started to drift away, as she watched the sun set she felt herself feel lighter, and lighter, then she realized her feet weren't on the ground anymore. Nearly as soon as she noticed she was floating she fell, fast. Luckily her aunt caught her, and she didn't float **too** high, but she was scared and wanted to go home.

Her aunt and parents sent her too her room, but she heard yelling that night, mostly panicked "what do we do" from her parents with her aunt trying to calm them.

The Vintera family was once a name spoken in hushed tones, great wizards with deep ties to the darker branches of magic, their history was stained with dark secrets. But time eroded their power, and by the time Syrah was born, their legacy was little more than a fading whisper.

She was raised in an old manor on the edge of a dense, old forest, near Inverness, Scotland, and the air smelled of damp earth and rain. Her grandmother, Ivanna Zoya Vintera, kept the family’s old traditions alive, filling Syrah’s childhood with magical lessons, strange rituals, and stories of those who came before and her ancestors. Her mother, distant and cold, spoke little of Syrah’s father, who had disappeared one night without explanation. His name was barely mentioned, but Syrah found traces of him in the painted portraits she kept in the attic, away from prying eyes.

She had no real friends—other children found her odd, and she had little patience for them. Instead, she wandered the forest alone, accompanied only by her pet crow, Merlot, and the dark stillness of the trees. The world beyond the manor never interested her much, except for the artifacts her brother Nicholai sent from his travels, each one stranger than the other.

Syrah's eduaction before Hogwarts was one in a simple preparatory school with other wizard's children who avoided her like the plague.

First Instance of magic:
Reducio
Syrah’s first magic erupted during a tense dinner at the Vintera manor. She was just five years old, sitting silently at the long, weathered table as her mother, Evelina, and her grandmother, Baba Zoya, argued. Their voices were sharp and loud, clashing like thunder in the dimly lit dining room. Syrah’s small hands gripped the edge of the table, her stormy gray eyes fixed on the silverware as she tried to contain the anger bubbling inside her.

The argument grew louder, the tension thickening like a storm cloud. Syrah’s frustration boiled over. She glared at the glasses on the table, her tiny frame trembling with emotion. Suddenly, the glasses exploded, shattering into glittering shards that scattered across the room. The sound was deafening, and the argument stopped dead.

Evelina gasped, her hand flying to her mouth, while Baba Zoya’s sharp eyes gleamed with something like pride. Syrah, wide-eyed and trembling, whispered, “I didn’t mean to,” as her mother pulled her into a tight, protective embrace.

Sinclair was born as an only child to loving parents on the 7th of November, 2012. Apart from being taught to be independent, she constantly feels the pressure of being the only offspring of her family and does not want to disappoint her parents.
Sinclair would get most of her basic education from a small local primary school, however struggled to make friends, especially after her first instance of magic. Unexplainable things would start to happen around her, such as someone's belongings missing- only to turn up in her locker, or her objects would be "accidentally" thrown at someone during class, causing disruption. It was probably around this time when she developed the idea that she'd much rather not interact with people so as to not get attention, which, on top of her issues with her social battery, has stuck since.
When she was 8, she had enough of this and so did her parents, who didn't believe her when she explained she had nothing to do with these disruptions. They pulled her out of school and instead hired a home tutor so she can be home-schooled for her remaining primary years. Strange things would still happen, but at a much lesser rate.

Outside of academics, a day-to-day on the Carver farm could include tending to the chickens and ducks, harvesting from the trees and the gardens, or even a day out with her mother hunting in the nearby woods for deer, pheasants, and rabbits to be sold to local inns and restaurants. Her father used to join but he insists his hands get shaky nowadays. Sinclair hasn't hunted something yet, but she's always enjoyed watching her mom with her 12 bore shotgun. And, being great at keeping stealthy, her mother didn't object to her being there either. Naturally, ear protectors were always worn.
During the evenings, her father can often be found by the fireplace, carving small sculptures and trinkets to be sold online. He says he likes to keep the tradition of their family name alive. She had never known her grandparents as they had passed by the time she was born, but family gatherings with aunts, uncles, and cousins happened a few times a year. She doesn't socialise too much with them despite holding respect for them - she prefers the ducks and the farm cat.

When a Hogwarts representative came to visit and broke the news to her and her parents, it felt too surreal. Her father gave her a pat on the back and exclaimed, "Why my dear, no wonder strange happenings occur around ya!" Growing up she'd thought her life was to be on the farm, to take over her family's business, and that was that. Yet, a part of her trembled with excitement- did she dare to dream of more?

She thought she must've been seeing things...
In December, a month after her 6th birthday, she was told to gather the firewood on a snowy night as punishment. Her father knew just how cold it was, but she had gotten into a little argument with him over wanting to go to town and make friends- We have our hands full, her father explains. She didn't want to listen and...got a little too angry for her father's liking. Oh, she still remembers how hot her face became. He told her to grab firewood from the shed outside to cool off. So, she lugged the wheelbarrow with a scowl and took a waterproof tarp with her, started loading it up. It was cold, and the firewood was rough on her fingers. She sat down on the dry floor in the shed and buried her head in mild frustration. Somewhere in the middle of all this, pieces of lumber just started floating from the pile. But one started smoking, and before she knew it, a corner lit up on fire.
"Stop!" She gasped frantically, reaching towards the firewood, ready to chuck it out into the snow- but the fire extinguished just as the word had come out of her mouth. The firewood barely weighed anything now, until they all landed with a soft clunk in the wheelbarrow. She couldn't believe it. And, well.. neither did her parents when she returned and told them. She gave up midway trying to explain- eventually believing she must've just been imagining things.

Hello Sinclair, before I can approve your index application there are a few things that need to be changed:
- I see you have your school year listed as 2024/2025 in your ency, unfortunately we require this to be written as first year, second year etc
- Just another small detail, where did Sinclair get her basic education? Did she attend a muggle primary school, or was she home schooled or an equivalent?

Richard Maxwell was born into a family of great wizards and witches, though they had never been the type to look for fame or fortune they made great strides for the wizarding community. Their home, left by his great grandfather, Maxwell Manor, sat on the edge of the Blackwood Forest in Balsham, England. Richard’s father, Arthur Maxwell, was once a Auror, he was cougars in the pursuits of Dark wizards and his intellect of forbidden magical relics that most people would stay away from. But after an encounter which almost cost him his life far worse than mere Dark magic, he left and became a Magical Historian & Magizoologist, spending most of his time studying lost artifacts and creatures new and old.
His mother, Elanor Maxwell, was also an Auror who at the time was partnered with his dad which led them both changing positions; she spends her days as a potioner and healer, researching rare magical plants and potions that could counteract dangerous curses.
His older sister, Cassandra Maxwell, was his role model and greatest rival. She has a sharp-witted nature and has always been fiercely protective of Richard.
Richard’s childhood wasn't anything super special. While other wizarding children and muggles played Richard and his sister spent their early years exploring the library and playing on brooms, Richard was raised in a house full of books, potion bottles and other things. But, the time he spends with his family is his most cherished moment. From looking at cool exotic creatures with his dad, making potions with his mother, and playing with his sister Richard always happy.

As birds began to hum the sweet tunes of summer, Richard laid on a bed of grass far off into the playground under a large tree in the village of Balsham, England. As the sun began to beat down him through the shaded tree. A voice could be heard in the distance.
“Oi…Richard mom has been looking for you. She said that you need to help with cleaning up. Dad should be back soon from his trip to Hawaii.” the voice said with sternness to it. This was Cassandra standing at the age of 12. She has long, wavy dark brown hair that she keeps neatly tied back when studying or trying to be bossy. Her eyes are an icy blue, sharp and observant which always gave Richard the sense of being always protected or watched like a hawk.
“I will be down Cassandra, I just wanted to do something before going back.” Richard said with a bit of excitement in his voice.
“As always. What is it this time?” Cassandra said with a scowl.
“Do you remember when we were younger you lost your favorite stuffed animal because some kids in the village were making fun of you?” Richard said as he slowly got up.
“Your point…..I do remember it meant a lot but, I grew up. What do you think..”
Before Cassandra could finish her sentence Richard was already climbing up the tree. Richards' determination to get the item back for his sister outweighed the cries she was emitting.
“Are you sure about this?” Cassandra asked, standing below with her face looking concerned and full of worry. “This is stupid why don't you get down before you get hurt. It's my job to watch over you.”
“I am already going up so I am pretty sure. Plus I never told you to watch me!” Richard yelled back down. “You're my sister, if you keep looking after me, who will look after you?.”
Cassandra sighed and did a small grin. “You could've just waited for Dad to get it down.”
“Where’s the fun in that?”
As the sun began to set Richard's slow accent began to get difficult as time went on. Sweat could be felt on his brow as reached out his hand to grab a branch.
“Almos…..”
CRACK!
A branch snapped under his foot. Richard barely had time to react before his leg caught another branch. Luckily he didn't weigh too much or he would have gone through several more branches.
A gasp could be heard from below and words was said however, Richard was too far up to hear her anymore.
The doll that Cassandra cherished so much was just within reach now, perched between two branches. Richard to his right arm off the branch that he was using to pull himself out to reach for the doll.
“Almost there…just a little more…YES!!!”
Richard's hand grabbed the doll but, before he could rejoice his eyes met with several eyes gazing back at him and before his mind could process the event feathers went everywhere. Seems Richard stumbled upon a flock of pigeons resting in the tree close to the doll.
“AAGH!”
Richard lost his grip and the snapping of branches could be heard all the way down the tree. Richard could feel several of limbs hit the branches with a lot of force; it felt like it wouldn't end.
“RICHARD!” Cassandra shrieked in horror.
Richard could feel almost every bone was going to break in his body before suddenly a wave of blue energy blasted out from his core.
BOOM!
Right before Richard had hit the ground his body began to inflate like a ballon rather quickly.
BOING……BOING.
Richard hit the ground like a rubber ball, bounced ten feet into the air, and continued his descent down to their house.
“CASSANDRA, HELP!”
His sister, who had been rushing toward him in panic, Richard bounced over the wall, narrowly missed a very confused garden gnome, and sprang off a hedge before finally coming to a very undignified stop in the family flower bed.
Cassandra was wheezing while trying to say “Are…..you…o…..kay?”
Richard groaned, spitting out dirt and flower petals, his voice sounding like a squeaky mouse. “Yea, I just can't really move.”
Of course, the commotion had drawn attention. Their mother came rushing to the side, saw Richard looking like he’d fought the garden and lost, and immediately demanded answers on what happened.
Cassandra, still choking on laughter from the funny voice, managed to explain what happened with a few lies so that Richard didn’t get into too much trouble.
Eleanor sighed, pinched the bridge of her nose, and muttered, “Just like his father.”
“Hey.” Richard called out to Cassandra after he got chewed out by their mother. As Cassandra turned around Richard threw the doll so it landed in her hands perfectly. “Worth it.” Richard smiled as Cassandra ruffled his hair a bit. “Stupid but, worth it.” As she holds her doll tightly.

Eldred’s parents were still relatively young when they had him. They were just entering their early twenties when the accidental started a family.
Although It put many of their plans on hold, both were unreasonably excited to welcome their child into their life.

Despite their euphorism, It still came with a lot of hardships that more mature adults would have navigated easily. At first Eldred‘s parents weren’t sure in which parenting style to raise their son. His mother, Hanny, was raised with gentle parenting, while his father had been in a more authoritarian environment, making him have become a rebelling teen in his own youth.
In Lennard Grayswell‘s attempt to be an exemplary father, he had completely turned around his rebellious appearance and nature by 180 degrees as soon as his girlfriend was expecting. The two married right away and moved to Brighton in order to avoid his father‘s authoritative parents - Eldred‘s Grandparents.
This had led to Eldred growing up without any contact to his grandparents, the original Grayswells.

When Eldred turned four, his Parents decided to lift their plans from pause and became self-employed as a book-writing couple. He was no longer a baby, which is the reason they took this risky financial step, to continue spending as much time as possible with their son. His mother always said that time is more important than materialistic things, anyways. Fortunately for the family, the risk paid off - not just in time. Thanks to them taking chances, Eldred was fortunate to have both parents at home. There, he learned a lot about their work and grew up surrounded by many newspaper articles, research materials from his father about legends and myths, as well as his mother's self-improvement anecdotes.

This was only further intensified by being homeschooled equally by them both, and later sent to prep-school for young wizards.
Spending more time outside and without his parents, Eldred still never felt the need to make friends. In fact, he was fascinated by his parents' work. Due to their still young age, both of them were willing to join him in anything he wanted to do. A simple wish to see dragons fly quickly turned into a trip to Scotland to the fields to take advantage of the wind gusts, and a good night story became a father-to-child debate about why Greek mythology was better than the Daily Prophet (which Eldred particularly liked because of his mother‘s influence).

A direction for a house at Hogwarts wasn’t predetermined for him, as his father was a Slytherin and his mother was a Hufflepuff, but they liked to joke about gryffindors and ravenclaws from time to time, when nostalgia visits them at the kitchen table.

It's really no surprise that Eldred always knew he can talk to his parents about anything, even when it comes to breaking rules at Hogwarts. Who would understand it better than his father?

First Instance of Magic:

The Grayswell family was in the coastal town of Tenby, Wales, on a rainy Saturday. They were spending a summer vacation visiting his mother’s old school friend from Hogwarts. The Lady worked as a magical photographer for a nature magazine, taking the best pictures of the waves day in and day out. Eldred had just turned 4 years old and was in a phase, where he wanted to touch almost everything that comes in his path. He was especially fascinated by the odd items of photography that the school friend kept in nearly every corner of her house! It must be noted, as a toddler, his self-confidence was disproportionately high, so he wasn’t the least bit afraid of getting into trouble. His father had just sent him to his room for playing with an expensive camera when Eldred, on tiptoe, sneaked back down and into the kitchen. There, through the gap in the door, he had seen stacks of magazines and interesting instruments spread out over the tiled floor. The 4-year-old crept through the door in the hallway into the kitchen, hoping his parents wouldn’t see him through the still-open gap that leads to the living room.
“Stuff!” he whispered to himself and knelt down once he had arrived. His eyes widened in front of a black box. Countless photos were inside, animal bait stank in the air, and small round glass discs were stacked on top of each other. The child was about to reach inside and grab the thin material, when the door was flung open with a loud noise!
His father’s voice barked into the kitchen, “Stop it - That’s expensive!” Startled, the child turned around with a squeak, and all the windows in the living room and kitchen flew open at once! The wind and rain broke in. His mother slapped her hand to her forehead, his father ran to close the windows, but the school friend just stood there. She grinned broadly, clapped her hands, and laughed joyfully, “How cute! The child’s first magic! Adorable.”

Lilith was born on the night of 19th September 2012 in a local hospital at Horncastle. Her mother, Layla was a school teacher teaching English at Horncastle Primary School while her father, Jaspar was an alchemist who opened a perfume store in Horncastle as his Muggle trade. Lilith was taught and loved dearly by her parents from the young age, which builds her self-confidence.

From Lillith's young age, her mother Layla as a teacher was always strict regarding Lilith's education, always nagging if Lilith had done her homework before the school days. And it didn't help Lilith with her mother as her English teacher, she was expected to excel in English in her class. Her father on the other hand, showered Lilith with love and he was gentle with her, usually tells Lilith some bedtime stories from his wizarding world.

At school, Lillith was a popular girl with her mother as the strict teacher whom most students hated. That created a persona for Lilith that she wasn't one to be messed with. But that didn't stop her from making friends and having a circle of her own. Lillith as the sole child in the family was given some freedom on what she could do during her free time.

As a girl Lillith had no shame in participating in sports. She definitely tried to give her own sports house some points and volunteered on some activities. During school events, she would join in dances and theatre plays to gain some merits and she was in love with them too. The art of performing comes naturally to the girl and stage fright had never occurred to her during the performance. It was there she learned to be a people's person and how she could make friends with everyone.

First Instance of Magic:

Lilith was only nine years old, and one eventful evening, she was out playing with her friends. Lilith went to her bestfriend's house not far from the street of her house. As the day was getting dark, it was her bestfriend's idea for her to go to her house. Lilith thought about having a sleepover, since the next day was Saturday. She decided to tell her parents over a text, though her phone's battery had died.

While waiting for it to be charged, Lilith had dinner with her friend's family. Little did she knew that back at home, her parents were worried sick about her not showing up and replied to any of their calls. After dinner, Lilith opened her phone and got tens of messages and miscalls from her mother. She called her mother to tell her of the plan, but she was scolded instead.

From Lilith's facial expressions, her friend knew that Lilith's parents didn't agree to the sleepover. Mixed feelings with angry and embarassment, Lilith hungup the call. Not long after, her parents' car arrived by her friends' house to pick her up. Lilith was told to wait in the car while her parents talked with her friend's parents.

Lilith felt like it wasn't fair while she was lectured during their ride back to home. It wasn't a long ride, so the lecture moved from the car into their home. With teary eyes falling down her cheeks, Lilith stormed into her bed.

As she stormed, with each steps she created, a sudden shift in the air inside their home. It became windy and then, puffs of clouds appeared on their ceilings. Both her parents was confused, and Lilith looked up as well at the clouds that formed. And then, rain fell down on the floors of their home. She blinked her eyes, looking at both of her parents, as she remained frozen in place.

Jaspar, who had come from the wizarding world, a wizard created a sly smile before laughter came out of her lips. Despite their home being flooded by the magic rain inside, her father ran to her and lifted her up with joy, saying that she was a witch. Lilith joined her father, cheering up though she remained oblivious to what had happened. Her mother too joined the duo and celebrated Lilith's magical affinity in a group hug, forgetting about what had happened previously.
