Got it, Thanks Charlotte!Charlotte Winfield wrote: 29 Apr 2026, 05:51You can only obtain pets through the pet system we have on-site. Once you have enough galleons, you can select/purchase a pet, write a roleplay in the Magical Menagerie, and the pet will be displayed on your profile. You cannot roleplay having a pet without going through this process, so please remove any mention of a pet owl from your encyclopedia, unless the pet is staying home from Hogwarts.Laverne Taylor wrote: 29 Apr 2026, 05:44 Just to know
How can I get pets? I have mentioned that I have an Owl in my ency... Is that all?

Not that you're penalized for it, but ooc you cannot join new threads until the detention is complete.Ophelia Vanderbilt wrote: 29 Apr 2026, 05:43 Out of curiousity, what would happen in these senarios:
1. if your pc/inpc gets detention but doesn't show up
2. If your pc/inpc gets detention, shows up, but then sneaks out when nobody's paying attention
This just means if they don't show up, maybe after months of no reply it'll be cancelled, but you still can't create a new thread or join a new thread in the meantime. I imagine the second question could be worked out with the detention giver.

1. As Vlad mentioned above, you would be prevented from joining new threads until the detention was completed.Ophelia Vanderbilt wrote: 29 Apr 2026, 05:43 Out of curiousity, what would happen in these senarios:

2. If your pc/inpc gets detention, shows up, but then sneaks out when nobody's paying attention
2. Again, just confirming what Vlad said, you are welcome to work this out with whomever is giving you detention. My character, Emma, when she was prefect, had two students she was giving detention to use spells on her and leave when she was immobilized.

You could always mention that you haven't seen your best friend around lately or you guys just haven't had the time to see each other!Kennedy Cheek wrote: 1 May 2026, 02:33 In the event that someone who your character is close with deactivated how do you go about explaining that in your timeline? For example, how would you explain your best friend suddenly no longer exists?

Hey! Like what Avery said, just something like you haven’t seen each other in a while, or grew apart for some reason!Kennedy Cheek wrote: 1 May 2026, 02:33 In the event that someone who your character is close with deactivated how do you go about explaining that in your timeline? FAQ — Questions
Thank you!
Edit: Sorry I have another question.
Regarding the rule saying wizards/witches aren't allowed to do magic in the presence of a muggle, does that apply to muggles who are married to a witch and have magical kids who know about magic?
Also to confirm, are kids allowed to do magic at home? I know in the books Harry isn't really supposed to, but Harry also lived with his fully muggle family, so I didn't know if wizard families had the rules slightly different?

It would be best to check with the Groundskeeper, Taros Quintero! It would likely be possible, but you should double-check and organise with him to be sure.Cassie Jiang wrote: 1 May 2026, 03:55 hi!
