You can only obtain pets through the pet system we have on-site. Once you have enough galleons, you can select/purchase a pet, write a roleplay in the Magical Menagerie, and the pet will be displayed on your profile. You cannot roleplay having a pet without going through this process, so please remove any mention of a pet owl from your encyclopedia, unless the pet is staying home from Hogwarts.

1. As Vlad mentioned above, you would be prevented from joining new threads until the detention was completed.
2. Again, just confirming what Vlad said, you are welcome to work this out with whomever is giving you detention. My character, Emma, when she was prefect, had two students she was giving detention to use spells on her and leave when she was immobilized.

In the event that someone who your character is close with deactivated how do you go about explaining that in your timeline? For example, how would you explain your best friend suddenly no longer exists?

You could always mention that you haven't seen your best friend around lately or you guys just haven't had the time to see each other!

Regarding the rule saying wizards/witches aren't allowed to do magic in the presence of a muggle, does that apply to muggles who are married to a witch and have magical kids who know about magic?
Also to confirm, are kids allowed to do magic at home? I know in the books Harry isn't really supposed to, but Harry also lived with his fully muggle family, so I didn't know if wizard families had the rules slightly different?
