TRANSFIGURATION SPECIALISTS NEEDED

Professor Kāne is hard at work helping all of his students succeed! From helping in the courtyard to a group meeting at lunch and even at the edge of the forbidden forest, helping a rather unstable 7th year!

However, there are at least some people who are good at Transfiguration…right? Professor Kāne is looking for all his nerdy Transfiggy heads (name pending sorry)! Please find below some thoughts and categories!

Your RPG storyline idea : You are just getting the hang of the basics but show great promise! Perhaps you are eager to impress your new professor OR Professor Kāne sees something in you!

Your RPG storyline idea : you might be able to take Professor Kāne’s new job away from him but he’s a big guy, he doesn’t scare easily. In fact, he might have some fun missions and assignments for you!
Additional info : can be graduating into this category but either the homework or the spells for transfiguration need to be obtained since you will need the full array of spells for what Professor Kāne has planned!

Years preferences : One young student (Year 1–3), one older student (Year 5–7) or a teacher, and maybe someone else
Your RPG storyline idea : Perrin is studying or relaxing by the edge of the Great Lake when he notices another young student being attacked by a creature. He rushes to help, but the creature either turns on him or another one emerges and targets him instead. Together, Perrin and the other student try to defend themselves, and maybe even partially succeed, until they cast the Red Spark Charm to call for help. One or two older students or a teacher arrive in time to assist.
Additional info : RPG+ preferred. I first imagined it might be an aggressive Muggle animal, but I’d love to use a magical creature that makes sense near the shore; open to ideas ! This would be set during one of the first weeks after the 2025 Sorting Ceremony, on one of the last not to wet and sunny days.

Your RPG storyline idea: I’m looking for a long term romantic partner who will be his endgame. As part of an overarching plot, Akihiko will eventually fall in love with a muggleborn, halfblood or wizardborn against his family’s wishes. I wanted to start searching for someone early, so if this in any way shape or form interests you, please send me an owl or dm @reallybigwords.
Additional info: All schools are welcome, however my preference is that this character is a female. If your character is not, we can still discuss working something out. I reserve the right to refuse any relationships if I do not believe you will be the right fit or will not be able to stay active.

Your RPG storyline idea : Just looking to get my feet wet with my new part-giant from Koldovstoretz! I'd be happy to write with anyone else who has an iNPC from Koldov. Just the usual stuff of exploring the unique setting of the school, our characters meeting, quidditch stuff or studies. Or if anyone wants to meet some giants that could be fun too. They're a crazy bunch! If your character is from Hogwarts or one of the other international schools, we do have summer camp coming up soon, so we could plot out some summer fun. Kazimir will be in London for the organized festivities, but the summer months open up a lot of opportunities to explore different settings!

Your RPG storyline idea: Avery is going to be a second year for the new school year which means now she's no longer part of the newbies. If any of you are interested in learning about Hogwarts, learn and play with her with Quidditch, or just want someone to be a mentor to your character, I'm really open to anything! Years preferences : I do not mind, though I'd rather someone closer to Rafael's age. They should also be Pureblood (or anything but Muggleborn. If your character's family is relevant and important to the wizarding society in any way, go for it!)
Your RPG storyline idea : Rafael's father, Reinhard Kraus, finds that connections from one Pureblood to another are necessities. As a result, Rafael is forced to, say, have a quill pal with another of a prestigious family. Rafael, the ever abiding son, begrudgingly sits down and begins a rather formal, albeit short, letter towards your character. Their exchanges will be frequent (his willingness will vary) and they will meet at Summer Camp by mere coincidence (by this I mean the two will not have arranged beforehand)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Depending on your character's persona, the interactions between both will differ. I am able to go two pathways:

1. Rafael's cold demeanor is strongly juxtaposed with your character's. He is formal and leaves little things short and precise, whereas your character may have long rants or blabbering essays on, for instance, a....recent pet they got. Sunshine and rainbows contrasting a dark and icy winter. When they meet, Rafael will not be able to stand your character at all. He may snap, or simply regard them coldly. But your character may continue to persist, and he will eventually have to give in. Or...it could end badly.

2. A similar character to Rafael, your letters will please Rafael and intrigue him, especially if you are able to relate to his current disposition. When they do meet at Summer Camp, let's just say it's a hit or miss.

Rafael is not one to portray his thoughts on paper, so his interactions through owl and face to face will differ. He will be mostly formal and polite in the letters, but will come off as detached and unapproachable at camp. He will judge you and will most likely dislike you. Keep in mind that this means there will be a lot of negative thoughts, which your character will likely not know (though his attitude towards them says enough). I strongly encourage you to not hate him back just because he's a meanie. We don't need to have a rivals bond. I also wish this to be somewhat long term (owls, at least. No matter how much of their interactions goes well/badly, his father will continue to insist they keep up with the letters).
P.S Rafael is a character whose writing style is one I've never once experimented with before. To produce good work I will take some time to reply, but I hope this does not hinder you from owling me back
