Julienna was born in Scotland, and mostly just raised by her mom, Tao Xiayun. And her father? Well, she never asked him for his name— When he visited, she just called him 'father'. He always traveled around Europe for work-related stuff, only coming around during New Years, and staying for Julienna's birthday before leaving again.
All her life, Julienna was raised and homeschooled by her mom. Their house in Scotland was quite small, but still felt empty. It was just her and mom. Like the gift that she was, two hours after her birth, it had started snowing and her brothers had run out to go make a snowman in front of the window of her room so that she had someone watching over her at night, like a guardian angel as her mother believed.

People gathered around the young female to get a glance at the precious bundle that was being rocked back and forth delicately. The adult voices whispered sweet nothings and cooed at the tiny little figure as its heavy eyelids settled carefully. A worried glance passed between the two adult figures but there was no further discussion about it. The bundle was put down next to the barely older figure and they comfortably curled up next to each other getting comfortable for the journey that was only just beginning in their lives.
Valkyrja Rajveer Hjörþrimul-Kapadia was born on July 8, 2013, in Jaipur, India to Björn Hjörþrimul and Niharika Kapadia, both of which had been wizards and had generations of pureblooded wizardry in their respective lineages. Björn had been a Swede and his family had been a healthy mixture of all the houses though lately he'd come from a long line of proud Gryffindors. Her mother Niharika was a Slytherin through and through. Their family had been Slytherins for as long as it had been noted down with all of the wizards and witches of the family attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Barely five years older than her was her brother Chandrajit and her oldest brother Aashish who was the apple of his parents' eye. They were her dearest older brothers set to inherit the title and family name as was expected of them. With Aashish in the spotlight, the expectations had been different for her. She’d been trained in several arts (dance, music, artistry, etiquette, etc) in order to prepare her for the “real world” as she’d been told.
Time gradually trickled away and what had been small little bundles had grown into energetic and glowing best friends that had been known in the city for being a chaotic but dynamic duo. They had been inseparable from her birth and somehow had some great instincts for each other. Everything about them was pretty much identical from their flowing dark black locks of hair, their sparking ocean-like blue-green eyes that always glimmered in excitement for mostly the same things, their tiny little habits like chewing away at their nails, etc. Both Valkyrja and Chandrajit had always been impulsive probably the main reason why they had always been in trouble, and curious as to why everything was the way it was. Aashish was the more responsible one in public, but in private, he was equally as notorious in his actions and taught Valk the art of simply not getting caught. Of course, the only way to sate that hunger for knowledge and that itch to escape was getting out to the wild and going on their own adventures and unauthorized expeditions.
For a point, once Valk had turned a certain age, her father considered sending her off to Mahoutokoro but her mother had put her foot down with the expectation that all of their family would go to Hogwarts. With this in mind, their family chose to move back to an old family house in London from the great city of Jaipur to get the kids acclimated to the new city they’d likely be living in for a while before their Hogwarts education.
Though she was ahead in most things and an adventurer at heart, nothing showed that she had gotten a wizarding gene or an itch to practice magic. No sparks, no vases exploding, no kittens turning into yarn, nothing out of the ordinary and as she years passed, her parents wondered “What if…?”

While she’d been sitting in the grass, her brother and parents were by the lake dipping their toes in the water and she’d been blowing away at a dandelion. The fuzz had been floating away as she waved her hands pretending it was like popping bubbles. A shadow imminently seemed to be bounding towards her and her fight or flight mode kicked in with her hands raised above her body as she crawled quickly into the fetal position as a scream left her throat.
Moments of silence that felt like hours passed on by and she could have sworn that it had turned to evening with the sun leaving the sky to give her reprieve even if it had only been minutes. A hand on her shoulder startled her and she peered up to see her brother looking at her with both worry as well as a tiny smirk whilst being covered in an abundance of dandelion fuzz. And there was a dog. A large dog wagging its tail with its tongue lolling out of its mouth sneezing a few times at all the pollen that had been remaining in the air.
The murmured conversation her parents seemed to be having while staring at her in shock indicated that she’d finally done something magical. Looking around her, the entire field of dandelions had exploded in the air and had been floating around them. In one go, she'd discovered that she'd accidentally done something magical (to protect herself of course) while simultaneously discovering a severe pollen allergy. All she knew was that life was about to change before her very eyes and the mischievous glint in her brother’s told her she’d be up for whatever this adventure might be.

ReducioMany people said Eva was not only naturally beautiful but Part-Veela. Her grandmother had been a Veela and so had her mother. Many people believed she shared the Veela gene running through her family. Her mother was extremely strict on who Eva could be friends with. Her mother once met a young boy in the forest by her house and they became friends, he was muggle-born though, which meant they couldn't be friends. The strictness in the family was passed down through the generations.
Eva shares her grandmother's beauty more than her mother's. The same brunette, curly hair, the same tanned skin and the beautiful face shape. Eva was pretty short for her age which was the same as her mother and the opposite of her grandmother, who was tall and slim. She received compliments from many people regarding her beauty, but it also made her very conscious of who she became friends with. She was always afraid of if they were only friends with her for beauty or popularity. As she grew up she got more and more attention until she was asking her parents every day to change her or clothes, to fit in more.
Eva's mother disliked the fact her mother had married a pure-blood instead of a Veela, when Eva was younger she was extremely close with her grandparents but as she grew up she saw them less and less and grew to appreciate the people closest to her more. Being married to someone who wasn't a Veela was a threat in their eyes.
She stopped changing her appearance by cutting her hair, styling it differently, wearing lots of makeup nearly making her unrecognisable and changing her clothing style regularly. She became the best version of herself. Full of confidence.
Things she once disliked about herself she came to love. Her curly hair that she put in many styles that she enjoyed doing. The freckles on her nose and cheeks no longer ugly marks. Her clothes that became truly her. And she embraced the fact that she wasn't as tall as everyone. She found herself and was happy.
She learnt to ignore the people who tried to make her feel bad for being beautiful and accepted the people who complimented her. She wasn't cocky or arrogant for being pretty, she was modest and kind and complimented people back.
She connected with her Italian family as she gained more confidence in herself, not wanting to change anything about herself to hold up to anyone else's wants about her. She smiled more, unafraid of showing her teeth. She stopped straightening her hair.
She got closer with her mother and they shared their confidence and happiness. Her father was happier as Eva became more in touch with herself and stopped trying to make herself likeable. They have a dedicated day which is Friday to spend time together. Talking or playing games, as long as they had fun. In Eva's back garden there is a patch of woodland which her family owns. She spends hours exploring but is always back for lunch or dinner. Her uncle, Ben is often around and they are very close. Eva has two cats, a pure black one named Sage and a grey one named with bright orange eyes named Ember. She is very close with her siblings and they spend a lot of time together. They're always teasing each other but have a great time together. During winter they enjoy spending time together in the snow, throwing snowballs and making snow angels. They all love trying new recipes, deserts or main meals, they bond over their love for food.
She was born in Milan, Italy where her uncle and father are from. Her father has dual citizenship between England and Italy as her father's mother was English. Even though her mother is Welsh she still considers herself Italian from where she was born despite living in Wales.
