FAQ — Questions
I have two sort of similar questions,

1. If I joined a moderated thread a while ago and have been inactive for a decent amount of time but it is still active currently and I wish to continue it, would I pick the RP up from what is said by the moderator/organiser of the thread in the most recent post? Could I try to make something up about what I could've experienced based off of that info and then continue the current event, as long as it doesn't bypass any rolling?

2. If I wish to join a moderated thread but I join late and a handful of moderated rounds have already passed, do I have to IC join late or am I allowed to say I've always been there just lurking around a bit if it doesn't bypass any rolling again?

I think I've heard some related words here and there but I've mostly forgotten. Sorry if it sounds confusing, I'd like some clarification. Thanks!

Only via a transfer system. Your current PC would go to a wizarding school that is not Hogwarts while the inpc tied to the pc would go to Hogwarts. The inpc would become your pc and your pc becomes your inpc. viewtopic.php?t=39387

That is what I did with Vladislav (formerly Koldov iNPC, now Gryffindor) and Clark (former Hufflepuff, now Koldov iNPC)

You've gotta break some eggs to make an omlette, something something.

No, you can only have one at Hogwarts <3 Correct me if I’m wrong

Just as a note, I'd always ask beforehand if I can rejoin just to double check and make sure this can work out with both parties because of the absence. But.

1. Yes, you'd pick up at the latest moderated post as you said. Honestly, if it were, let's say the wedding, you'd likely be able to say that you maybe walked off to go look at some of the walls as they attracted your attention more than the noise behind you then decided to turn around and realize what happened and take action. Otherwise, you just might be in a daze ic then snapping back to reality. If that makes sense?
2. Always ask the moderator if you haven't partook in a moderated thread and want to join it, especially after a few rounds have passed!

You've gotta break some eggs to make an omlette, something something.

FAQ — Questions
By the way, just adding this regarding the second question; if the thread in question is a ball thread (eg. the Lost Pearl, etc...) that isn't a group-specific one (eg. the current escape room thread for the Fall Ball), you can join without asking! For others, however, it's important to ask. Sports are a different deal altogether, because as they are official events with deadlines attached to them, there are specifics for each sport for when one can post and in what timeframe, wc rules, etc... This is only for official sports though! Many people do unofficial duels, for example.

Your iNPC has to go to the other school when you create it initially. After 6 months you could transfer it to Hogwarts, but it will mean that Julia (your PC) will be going to another school. You can't have both of them go to Hogwarts

La seule limite est celle que vous vous posez
Linda Ramirez - PCKaya Rose Bennett - iNPC
The only limit is the one you set for yourself.
