FAQ — Questions
I have a couple of questions here (mostly regarding deactivation)…
- When deactivating if I create my character and realize I prefer Louisa to my next one can I return back to her?
- Is there any way to transfer items from to my new account? Am I be able to ask someone to do that?
- Can I keep the same or similar coding for ency, rps ect?
- On opening a shop can I use the banners, ect I created?
- Is the house allocation dustren simply based on your choices and what houses have the least? Is there a time I might be able to create my account so I have the best chance of getting into my desired house? (Sorry, you probably get that a lot)
That’s all… for now. Thanks!!

- Yes, there is a possibility that you can return back to this character in the future if you deactivate her now.
- Although that has been frowned upon, you can be able to do that. I would suggest sending to someone you trust so that they can be able to return all your items to your new character.
- As for roleplays, unfortunately. Starting a character would mean you have to begin afresh, you are free to use similar concepts, but they just cannot be the exact same. For coding and ency, yes. You can use what you used to cater and fit your new character.
- Yes, you can use banners you created and transfer the shop to your new character.
- As for sorting/house allocation. Unfortunately, the sorting hat decides. There is no guarantee that the house you will be sorted in would be of your choice, but the sorting hat decides.

FAQ — Questions
The goal behind this change is to ensure equal earning potential for all users.
Previously, there were systems in place—intentionally or not—that gave certain groups an unfair advantage. For example:
Former staff could continue earning extra currency indefinitely, simply for having held a role in the past.
Long-term players earned more than newer members, based solely on how long they had been around.
In the early days, we even had scaling earnings, where new members earned significantly less than older ones.
This created a dynamic where people were rewarded more for their tenure or past roles than for current engagement, which was unfair—especially to new users trying to get involved and feel like they’re on equal footing.
By leveling the system, we’re aiming to make the site more balanced, accessible, and fair for everyone, regardless of how long they’ve been here or what roles they’ve previously held.
There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.

Snitch FindEugenia Karageorgiadi wrote: 22 Apr 2025, 20:12 Hi there! I’d like to ask a question as to how you calculate the Snitch Find/Catch and Cheating DC’s when moderating Quidditch.
Reducio
Example: if the lowest seeker wisdom is 2 (assuming their broom doesn't have a + to its stat), then the base Snitch Find DC is 15+2 = 17.DC for finding the snitch is 15 + lowest Seeker Wisdom. Every round a user attempts to find the snitch there is a +1 to their attempt. After the snitch is found, there is a 1 round cool-down where the Seeker is Chasing the snitch. During this round they can perform other actions, such as save or a quafflegrab, even as they endeavor to get closer as the snitch erratically flies about the pitch.
Additional Information: Broom stats apply to this calculation. So if a player has a 10 Wisdom and a +2 to their wisdom to their broom, this applies in the final calculation.
Snitch Catch
Reducio
Example: if the lowest seeker accuracy is 5, the base dc to catch the snitch is 15 + 5 = 20The Math: [Accuracy Stat]
DC for grabbing the snitch is 15 + lowest Seeker Accuracy. Every round a user attempts to grab the snitch there is a +1 to their attempt.
Cheating
Reducio
Cheating is done using a wisdom DC determined by the average opponent players' wisdom + 15, not including broom stats. This DC is calculated at the beginning of the match and does not change as people enter/leave the field.
People got dolls ooc from participating in House Pride games (only were available for one day on the correlating House Pride days) and yes it is happening IC.Iliala Evergreen wrote: 25 Apr 2025, 13:40 I'm confused about all this doll stuff happening.
